It was excellent! The Room was spacious and very clean. There were no unpleasant aspects, and I had a comfortable stay. Additionally, although the usage time is fixed, the welcome drink service included not only soft drinks but also Japanese sake tasting and chuhai, with unlimited refills—a truly attractive feature! I would definitely like to use it again if I have the chance.

We decided to visit Greenland at our kids’ request, and while looking for nearby Accommodation we found this fun place. For a family of five, it cost about JPY 25,000 without meals. It was our first time staying in a trailer house, but it felt like a secret hideout and the kids loved it. However, I understand it may be unavoidable due to the structure, but the smell from the toilet was quite strong—this was the only negative point. The surrounding area is well equipped with supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, and more, so even if you forget something you can easily buy what you need. The best part was the amazing on-site hot springs! The large public bath was clean, and there were various saunas that were really interesting. It would have been even better with a TV, but it was still wonderful. There’s also a manga corner and free relaxation lounge where the kids were thrilled. There’s also a small gym (not full-scale), which I really enjoyed as well. Also, even on check-out day you can use the facilities until closing time, so we stopped by for a bath and休憩 on our way back from Greenland. We really appreciated that. Next time I’d like to come during a cooler season, but we were very satisfied overall. Thank you.

Both the location and the Room quality are excellent. It is quiet, and once you are in the Room you cannot hear the noise of the city, making it an ideal environment to relax and recover from fatigue. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and it is a comfortable Hotel. Most guests are international travelers, so it feels almost like being abroad. There is a convenience store on the first floor; it can get crowded, but it is very convenient.

I stayed in a twin Room with my daughter. The toilet in the Room had weak water flow and wouldn’t flush in one go, so we had to be careful when using it. The front desk staff were polite, and it was nice to have a large public bath, so this was disappointing.

I chose to stay here to take my time exploring Sukagawa. The front desk staff were very friendly, and I found myself chatting with them. The room was clean and well-maintained, allowing me to sleep comfortably. For dinner, I dined at Yumezen on the first floor of the hotel. They offered local dishes and a wide variety of local sake, which left me completely satisfied. The breakfast buffet was also held at Yumezen. The selection included pickled squid carrots, perilla miso, curry... and an impressive variety of fresh vegetables! Most surprising was the hearty pork miso soup—it was packed with ingredients! I've tried many breakfast buffets before, but I've never encountered such a deliciously rich pork miso soup like this one. Of course, I went back for seconds (laughs). Thank you so much for your hospitality! I would love to stay here again during next year's trip to Tohoku.

It was difficult to adjust the air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, but it could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Still, I slept well and was happy with my stay.

Although we arrived a little late for check-in, the hostess kindly welcomed us, and we were able to relax and recover from our fatigue in the Onsen. The Room was also comfortable—we just wish we had arrived a bit earlier to take our time. We would like to stay again.

This was my first stay. The Hotel and Room were clean, and the bath area was spacious with a great Onsen. However, the dining hall staff seemed very busy and overwhelmed, so I rated the meals 4 stars. Other than that, I was satisfied. I would like to stay again.

I stayed in a smoking Room on the 7th floor for a Multiple Night Stay, but as soon as I turned on the air conditioner, a moldy smell spread throughout the Room, which was very unpleasant.

Although it was a basement Room, I was surprised by the high quality. The bathroom and toilet had a sophisticated design and felt very clean. I wished there had been a place to hang wet towels. It’s conveniently located right in front of the station, so I’d like to stay again. I was also satisfied with dinner at the izakaya inside the Hotel.

The Facility offers a beautiful sunrise view from the private beach and pool. However, ① the shower toilet was out of order. ② The oil heater panel had bent fittings and was detached. ③ The terrace door behind the TV was unlocked, allowing potential external access. The staff were polite, which is commendable... When using cottages at other Facilities, it’s important to check the locks as well... It was a nice Hotel, so I would like to visit again.

This place is still the best!

I forgot to take photos, but the room was quite spacious for one person and had everything I needed, which was very helpful. It was expensive because it was a weekend stay, but I am very satisfied. Thank you!

This is a very comfortable and pleasant Hotel. The Hotel is located right in the center of Old Karuizawa, within an easy and enjoyable walking distance for an early-morning breakfast. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, always with a smile. We were upgraded as there was availability, and they even let us check the Room before check-in. There are chairs along the corridor leading to the lobby, making it a nice spot to sit and relax. Thanks to everyone on the staff, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

This is a Hotel where you can feel at ease. Everything was kept very clean, and there was a card from the housekeeping staff with a message like “Please relax and enjoy your stay.” When I checked in late, the staff kindly shared information about nearby shops. The complimentary drink service even included Yoghurppe, and throughout my stay I felt the warm hospitality that reflects local friendliness. I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed on Sunday. I expected a simpler hotel for the price, but the amenities were well-equipped, the room was clean, and it was quiet, so I was very satisfied. The distance from the station felt a bit far when walking with large luggage. This time, I stayed alone due to feeling unwell on the day of my stay, but next time I would like to stay with someone else. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here many times. At a typical Ryokan, I’m a light eater, so the meals served are often more than I can finish. For that reason, wherever I go, I stay without meals included. I eat at nearby restaurants and order only what I want and can finish. It’s cheaper and makes for a more relaxed trip. From that perspective, Kameya Rakkan is the best Hotel. Of course, the staff are kind as well, and I appreciate their attentive service. I will stay again.

I stayed here during the Obon holiday period. Since this Accommodation is for lodging only, you are free to come and go after check-in, so you can go out to eat or shop. It’s a quiet area. The in-room Onsen bath is great because you can adjust the temperature by mixing hot water and lukewarm water; some places require adding tap water when it’s too hot, but not here. There is no tap in the bath. The location is convenient—close to Beppu Daigaku Station (Annex area) and also near the Sunflower ferry terminal. There are various supermarkets and restaurants nearby as well. It’s also a good base for visiting Yufuin or heading to Aso via the Yamanami Highway. I would like to stay here again.

I suddenly needed to kill half a day and considered a cafe or a movie theater, but decided to use this property for day use instead. It was absolutely the right choice. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom and washbasin area were surprisingly large. Even though I only stayed for a few hours on day use, I was able to relax, take a bath, and unwind. The amenities were also well provided.
