Saijo Onsen Tokura's hot spring source has been flowing along the Zenkoji Highway for over a thousand years and is known as the "Thousand-Year Bath." The spring quality is a simple sulfur spring, with the approximately 14-degree cold spring water heated for use. The slightly milky source water appears to change color depending on the day, earning it the name "Seven-Colored Bath." Additionally, the Onsen is rich in mineral components, making it effective for fatigue recovery, muscle pain, neuralgia, sensitivity to cold, gynecological issues, rheumatism, high blood pressure, and even cuts. Our Property welcomes guests from both within and outside the prefecture, and our dinner, featuring kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients, is highly praised. We also offer kaiseki cuisine for day-trip banquets. The dining area is very popular for its hearty menu, and both the meals and day-use bathing attract many visitors daily. Saijo Onsen Tokura is a Facility frequently visited by guests from the surrounding areas.
