I have stayed at many hotels considered top-class, but this was the best experience I have ever had. As others have said, the hospitality was truly exceptional—beyond what I could have expected. Breakfast from Gion Kawakami was also an outstanding experience. I would love to visit again in a different season.

During our trip from the main island to Miyakojima, we stayed here for the entire time on the main island. The Room was spacious and very clean! We were truly touched by the honeymoon towel art and flowers that were prepared for us. The view of the ocean and Kouri Bridge from the Room was breathtaking. My husband was thrilled with the Agu pork shabu-shabu dinner. We also dined at a restaurant in the Hotel group, and it was delicious and stylish as well. Breakfast was delivered to our Room, and even during our Multiple Night Stay, they changed the menu each day—everything was so thoughtful. We had a wonderfully relaxing Hotel stay while enjoying a resort atmosphere, and our time on Kouri Island became an unforgettable memory. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again someday.

I visited “PGM Okinawa Resort,” which just had its grand opening in July 2026! It has a refined, high-end atmosphere that Halekulani lovers will adore—the sophisticated design and overall vibe feel very similar. Since it has only just opened, there were still few guests and nothing felt crowded anywhere, so it was a lucky stay for me and I was truly satisfied. The Facility and service were genuinely outstanding, so I’m posting this Review to show my support! Room & Amenities The amenities are all L’OCCITANE, and the lovely scent is incredibly soothing. I also appreciated that the in-Room drinks were complimentary. Dining (Breakfast) A huge variety, including Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes—absolutely satisfying! As it’s newly opened, we were smoothly seated with no waiting time no matter when we went. *For a Multiple Night Stay, breakfast is held at the same venue on the second day as well, so it would be even better if guests could choose between venues. Service & Hospitality The staff’s service was truly excellent and full of hospitality. They took tons of photos for us—almost to an impressive extent—so we came home with lots of great memories (lol). Outdoor & Indoor Pools Outdoor pool: Located next to the golf course, offering lush greenery and an open feel that’s different from a seaside pool—fantastic! You can also use the covered poolside gazebo for free. Indoor pool: Spacious, with three kids’ slides—great for families. Sauna Options: Three types—a sauna with löyly (steam), an aroma sauna, and a cooling Snow sauna. Snow sauna: It was my first time experiencing snow falling from the ceiling in a sauna—I was amazed! It felt incredible on my heated body. One thing to note Because everything is such high quality overall, the only disappointment was that there isn’t a large public bath where you can soak up to your shoulders. Overall, this resort exceeded expectations in hospitality, Facility quality/specs, and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves refined spaces like Halekulani or wants to enjoy Okinawa in true luxury!

My friend and I stayed for one night and two days. That morning, we joined a river kayaking tour, and since there were no changing facilities near the river, I asked if it would be okay to arrive still wearing our wet wetsuits. They kindly agreed, which I truly appreciated. We were dropped off by the tour staff, and the moment we arrived, the breathtaking view of a beautiful infinity pool under a clear blue sky spread out before us—I couldn’t help but shout, “Wow, amazing!” We were shown to seats by the poolside, and even before checking in my friend said, “Wow… I should’ve brought my laptop. Next time we have to bring our laptops and stay longer for a workcation.” We were then shown to our Room. When I tried to open my suitcase, it wouldn’t open—an unexpected mishap—but after speaking with the butler right away they prepared an adorable tracksuit that could be worn over swimwear and arranged a rental car for us. Thanks to that, we were able to get it opened at a local gas station we had found in advance. For dinner, they prepared a handmade welcome plate inspired by the kayaking experience and the sea turtle nesting observation tour we had done—it was moving from the moment we sat down. Every dish was something new to us and absolutely delicious; in particular, I loved the peach sorbet served by the pastry chef. We got so caught up in eating and chatting that we stayed late, yet the chef still came out with a smile to see us off all the way until we boarded the golf cart back to our Room. The next morning we joined a kokedama (moss ball) workshop and enjoyed making one while learning all kinds of things about plants. I’ve forgotten the plant’s name now, but when I mentioned that I like tea, they also wrapped large leaves that can be enjoyed as tea together with my kokedama. We were probably the noisiest guests during our stay as just two people, yet everyone treated us with kindness until the very end—I’m nothing but grateful. Next time, I plan to bring my laptop and come back for a longer workcation stay.

This was a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again! Not only were the amenities and play area great, but the private family bath was surprisingly easy to use when we wanted, and we were able to relax and enjoy a bath together as a family. Free laundry and drying were also available, which was a huge help—especially with our 2-year-old, when we ran out of spare clothes and started to panic. Meals were buffet-style, so we ended up eating quite a lot and couldn’t make it for late-night snacks, which was a shame—but next time I’ll plan better (haha). Just one thing: the kids’ meals didn’t change much between breakfast and dinner, so our child got a bit bored. It would have been nice to have a little more variety.

This was my first stay in Ibusuki, and I never imagined there would be an Accommodation here where you could enjoy such outstanding meals. We had Japanese cuisine on the first night and French on the second, and every dish was superb. The French dinner on the second night in particular delighted both our eyes and taste buds, with flavors and presentation that exceeded expectations with every course. Both nights featured dishes generously made with seasonal ingredients from Ibusuki and Kagoshima, and we were truly satisfied. As for the Facility, it did feel a bit dated, and since it was originally a different type of property, there was some mismatch between the in-house equipment/fittings and the Hotel’s concept. However, the Room overlooking Kagoshima Bay is truly one of a kind. The wide range of Facility options—such as the spa, sand bath, and large public bath—made for a very fulfilling stay. I would love to return just to experience that dish again. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. Since dinner isn’t included, there is a shuttle bus to and from the Kanazawa Station area, which makes it easy to go out to eat. Even though it’s one Room, the bath and toilet are in the middle, so it feels like the space is divided, which I liked. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options; the Kanazawa curry is delicious, and there are plenty of side dishes too—it's a luxurious breakfast that I really enjoyed. As soon as you enter the Hotel entrance, it smells wonderful, which I loved. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Kanazawa.

We stayed to celebrate my mother’s discharge from the hospital. Based on our previous stay, you kindly accommodated our requests and avoided ingredients we cannot eat without us having to mention them this time, and we truly felt your outstanding hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel—the view from the balcony, the comfortable Room, and the delicious meals—and my mother was very happy as well. Thank you for celebrating with us. 　I especially love the atmosphere of your pool. I hope you will continue to maintain an environment where it is easy to swim and no one takes prohibited photos. Next time, we would like to visit again around autumn or winter.

We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. From the moment I was picked up, the staff made a great impression, and as soon as I stepped into the Hotel, I was soothed by a wonderful aroma scent. I was shown to a private Room to check in. The Room had a simple design and was very comfortable to stay in. I also enjoyed choosing my favorite scent with the aroma diffuser in the Room. This time I joined the 1-night, 2-day fasting course. Since it wasn’t a water-only fast, I had carrot juice, homemade umeboshi (pickled plum), bancha tea, and more for dinner and again the next morning. After checkout, they treated me to rice porridge, miso soup, handmade umeboshi, hana ingen beans (runner beans), and bancha tea—everything was very satisfying. Personally, the hana ingen beans slowly simmered over two days with beet sugar were so delicious that I couldn’t help asking if they were available for purchase. After check-in, I also received a brown-rice onigiri with umeboshi, which I enjoyed on my long-distance bus ride home. There is no TV in the Room, but Wi‑Fi is available so you can use your smartphone. However, since it was such a good opportunity, I tried not to use my phone during my stay as much as possible. Time flew by as I read health magazines in the lounge with herbal tea in hand; opened the window in my guest room to read my own book while listening to birdsong; and reviewed personal finances that had been put off due to everyday busyness. From the Onsen bath area in the morning, you can see Mt. Asama—the view was truly wonderful. If there’s one thing to mention: since exercise is part of my routine personally, having showers in every Room would have made it even more comfortable by allowing me to rinse off quickly after working out. Other than that minor point, everything exceeded expectations—the staff were lovely throughout—and it was a stay I would definitely like to repeat.

We stayed here overnight while traveling back home. My child loves cars, so seeing engines and car bodies everywhere was exciting in itself, and we were able to spend a fulfilling, luxurious time. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal at a relaxed pace on the balcony, feeling the pleasant breeze while watching the circuit.

The lobby and front desk staff always greeted us and were very polite and kind. The complimentary drink service and amenities were excellent. Our Room was on the top floor, with views of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower in the distance from the window. This is a quiet Hotel where you can relax at ease. The smart TV was also great. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the omelet was especially delicious. The parking staff were also helpful, making it easy to use the parking facilities. We will come again.

Although I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, there are surprisingly few Hotels that I can look back on later and truly feel were a great stay. This time, however, even after more than a month, the wonderful afterglow of the trip still remains. The Room, restaurant, and pool were all impeccably maintained, with thoughtful attention evident everywhere—nothing felt lacking or excessive. A major reason was also the excellent hospitality from the female staff member who welcomed us from check-in. I was also happy that there were no guests being loud or disruptive, and I am truly grateful to have found a Hotel I can return to with a smile and say, “I’m home!”

First, the dining was outstanding. We tried the French, teppanyaki, and sushi restaurants, and everything was perfect. If these were in the city, every one of them would be a hugely popular spot. All of the staff were kind, and you could really feel their dedication to welcoming guests. The Room had a large glass wall facing the ocean, and we had an amazing time on the balcony—enjoying coffee while looking out at the sea and even having breakfast there. The pool is also generously sized, so you can swim properly. We enjoyed spending all day going back and forth between the pool and the jacuzzi in the bath area. It truly felt like a paradise Hotel. We plan to return many times.

This was our first stay as a couple. The Hotel is attached to a golf course and is a little away from central Nasu, but both my wife and I were completely satisfied. We enjoyed the warm hospitality from everyone at the Hotel, wonderful cuisine, a private hot spring source that warmed us through to the core, and spacious, clean Rooms—everything we could have asked for. At departure, clean wipes were prepared for us, and our car windows ended up sparkling. We sincerely thank all of the staff. It has been a while since we experienced such truly professional hospitality—we were genuinely moved. Thank you very much.

I stayed one night in a Superior Room. At 43 m², it was spacious and very relaxing. The bed and pillows were comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed unwinding in the Room bath with the Hotel’s bath salts. I had both dinner and breakfast at “Tateru Yoshino.” Dinner was a full-course French meal, and it was delicious again this time. Breakfast was quiet and leisurely, which I really liked. The Hotel’s signature curry was excellent. Once again, I had a relaxing stay and was very satisfied.

The “Small-portion Gourmet Kaiseki” was just the right amount for seniors, and over our two-night stay the dinner was excellent in terms of ingredients, preparation, and seasoning. The breakfast also offered a variety of small dishes, and we were very satisfied from the morning with both dried fish and sashimi. The Onsen, Facility, and Room were clean and well maintained, and the staff were extremely attentive throughout our two-night stay. True to its name, it provided a five-star experience and made our trip to Izu a wonderful one.
