The Facility was spotless, and everything—from the meals to the Onsen—was excellent. We also had the pool to ourselves, and the kids were very happy. The only small issue was that we had to put on slippers to use the sink in the Room; it would have been nicer if we could access the sink and toilet directly without changing footwear. The staff were kind and attentive during meals, making our stay very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

I found this Accommodation while looking for a nearby place to stay on our way to Kamikochi. It’s a wonderful Accommodation in a quiet mountain village, and everything—the atmosphere, the meals, and the Onsen—was extremely satisfying. We visited with children, and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness, such as preparing the largest Room for us. Although it was near the end of the season, we were able to join the free firefly viewing event and saw about 10 fireflies—it was truly moving!! The Hida beef in the meal was tender, sweet, and absolutely delicious! The Onsen includes both simple spring water and mildly alkaline water; neither has a strong scent or feel, so it’s very refreshing. Some people might find it just slightly hot. The Room was spacious and relaxing, and even in late July it was cool at night—we could turn off the air conditioner, open the windows, and sleep comfortably. We will definitely be back!! *The only thing I noticed: I’m not sure whether it’s due to prefectural policy or the Accommodation’s policy, but there were many foreign staff members (Southeast Asian) working in the dining area. They were friendly and very kind so it didn’t bother us at all, but some guests may feel differently. If you’re concerned, you may want to contact them in advance.*

Both the hospitality and the cuisine were calm and wonderful, and I was truly able to refresh. I will visit again.

The Onsen was excellent, and every dish was delicious. The white shrimp rice cooked in a pot was especially outstanding and truly memorable. The building felt a bit dated, but the staff’s kind and attentive service more than made up for it, making our stay very comfortable.

We stayed for one night on a trip to Nagano. The location was so deep in the mountains that at first we wondered if there really was an Accommodation out there, but we were relieved to arrive safely. In addition to the indoor bath, there was also an outdoor hot spring (a “wild” bath), and we used both—they were wonderfully relaxing. The Facility itself seemed old, but it was kept very clean. The meals were just the right amount, and everything was delicious. Since I’m pregnant and avoiding raw fish, the staff kindly offered to switch it—suggesting fried chicken—which was very helpful. Next time, I’d love to try the char sashimi raw. My husband also said it was the first time he’d stayed at an Accommodation where every dish was this good, so we’d like to visit again in a different season and enjoy more of the料理.

At check-in, there was only one staff member, so I wondered if something was going on and whether everything was okay, but we received warm and attentive hospitality. We enjoyed rare local dishes such as salted grilled coho salmon and soba bean sprouts (absolutely delicious), and also tried painting kokeshi dolls while listening to a live Tsugaru shamisen performance (a wonderful souvenir), which let us fully experience the spirit of Aomori. The Onsen was at just the right temperature (slightly hot), warmed us through, and relieved our fatigue. It was all-inclusive, and we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks as well. Thank you very much.

In spring, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom around the Accommodation and at the Kurushima Kaikyo Observatory, making it truly beautiful. From the Japanese-style Room, the large windows were wonderful—you could even enjoy an ocean view while lying on the futon—and the Room amenities and equipment showed thoughtful attention to detail. Needless to say, the food was outstanding! All of the staff were kind and very pleasant, too. Next time—whether for a celebration, an anniversary, or simply to refresh—I want to find any excuse to stay here again.

We visited with children, and the staff helped carry our luggage, arranged an early time slot for the private bath, and prepared an adorable kids’ meal. They checked in on us in many situations, and it was a warm Accommodation where we truly felt their thoughtful hospitality. The meals were delicious, and we were especially satisfied with the sea bream dishes at both breakfast and dinner.

Close to the station, with an outlet mall just nearby, so the location is very convenient. Also, since we have children, we signed up for Picchio’s animal tour and insect tour within the Hotel and joined in. The guide explained everything carefully, and we enjoyed it a lot, so I highly recommend it. The Hotel grounds are vast, and shuttle buses run until late between Karuizawa Prince West, Animal, Hot Spring, and the outlet mall, which was very convenient. We woke up early and took a walk around the Hotel grounds. The fresh air was wonderful, and the sun filtering through the trees was truly soothing. The Onsen was great as well, and above all, all of the staff were very kind and pleasant—it really felt like they are well trained. I will definitely stay at this Hotel again.

All the meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. The staff provided excellent service, and we were very satisfied with the bath in the Room, which we could use at our convenience.

I booked this Ryokan to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Since Yumotokan was over our budget, we stayed at Komorebi on Friday and Saturday (JPY 17,000 per person). We were really looking forward to the Onsen, and although it costs extra, we were very satisfied that for JPY 700 we could access the adjacent Yumotokan and enjoy an Onsen while looking out over Lake Biwa. The Onsen on the 11th floor in particular felt wonderfully open and bright—I felt so relaxed I could have dozed off. The meals were also luxurious, with steak and shabu-shabu. The eel takikomi rice was especially delicious. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time!

This was my second stay. This time, I booked a No Meals Included plan to visit a nearby sushi restaurant. I’m not sure if it was due to the earthquake, but the Onsen was not available, so we could only use the bath in our Room or the showers in the large public bath. As a result, we received a small refund. I hope it can be repaired soon.

My stay was very comfortable for the following reasons: 1) It is located next to Kanazawa Station, 2) The staff were very kind, 3) The Room was clean, and it was convenient to be able to turn off all the lights with a single switch, 4) Free newspapers were available, 5) The large public bath helped relieve travel fatigue.

The Room was clean and new, with the fresh scent of tatami. The cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious, and the innovative menu with delightful surprises left a strong impression. The Onsen was comfortable, and the river view from both the private bath and the large public bath was wonderful. Even the showers use Onsen water, and the cold water after bathing is tasty spring water as well. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

You can enjoy the gentle Yubatake Onsen in the calm, refined atmosphere of a long-established Ryokan. The food is delicious, but above all, the staff are exceptionally kind. Every visit leaves me impressed by their outstanding service. At check-out, the gracious proprietress sees you off with great care, and you can truly feel how her attentiveness is reflected throughout the entire team.

The front desk staff were very kind and helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. It was a three-generation trip with my daughter and grandchild, and it became a great memory. We are truly grateful—thank you very much.

Welcome drinks included coffee, soft drinks, and delicious onion soup. In the evening, wine and snacks were also available. The meals were served buffet-style and were satisfying. It would have been nice to have condiments on the table. The room and bath were well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay. This is one of the accommodations I would like to revisit.

This was my first stay. Our Room was on the second floor of the main building. We could see the ocean a little, which was nice. The Room was clean and well maintained. One disappointing point was that we could hear the sound of doors opening and closing from the neighboring and opposite Rooms. Would it be possible to post a request on the inner door? It bothered us a little. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. There was plenty of crab at dinner, and we really enjoyed it (lol). Breakfast also had salmon roe, sashimi, and standard items like bread, so we ate until we were full. There were no small side plates—only larger plates for serving—so it would have been nice to have small plates if possible. The bath was an Onsen and very nice, but there were only four washing stations, so it felt a bit cramped. All of the staff from overseas were kind and worked very hard, which I thought was wonderful. Please take care of yourselves and keep up the great work. The other staff members were also kind and courteous, which made our trip enjoyable. If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

The Onsen water quality was excellent in both the large public bath and the private reservable bath. I wished the bathing hours were extended until around 2:00 a.m., as I would have loved to soak one more time. The complimentary fondant chocolate and cold tea in the post-bath lounge were delicious. The brunch curry topped with roast beef was luxurious, beautifully presented, and very tasty. Being able to enjoy the perfect combination of Ureshino Onsen and Ureshino tea truly helped me recharge with nature’s energy. Thank you very much—I would love to stay again.

This was my second stay, and this time I visited in summer. The Room was much larger than last time and seemed newly renovated—a Japanese-Western style Room with beds. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room in a separate building, the same as before. This time it was a summer-style kaiseki featuring sweetfish (ayu). (In winter, it’s wild boar hot pot.) The open-air bath in the Room was also great. There are two large public baths; my favorite is the one with hot spring water cascading like a waterfall, which is used as the men’s bath at night and the women’s bath in the morning. I was even more satisfied than last time. Guests ranged from families with children to couples and married couples. Even the walk from the parking lot to the Room has a charming atmosphere, so I can recommend it. The service is very polite as well. (It seems staff change between dinner and breakfast—there were lots of “mom”-type staff members in the morning.) You’ll find tanuki figures all around. Also, the vending machines are reasonably priced, and it was nice that there were bottled drinks for each guest plus a thermos of iced water in the Room. (So you don’t need to buy water beforehand.) *Since you can’t tell the exact Room layout at Reservation, if you care about futons vs beds or whether there is a partition for the bath area, it may be best to call and confirm.* (The Room we had last time in February 2025 had futons, and if you opened the curtain by the open-air bath you could be seen. This time we had a Western-style bedroom with beds, and there was also a door/wooden screen by the open-air bath—so there were differences. It’s possible renovations have been done since then.)
