At check-in, there was only one staff member, so I wondered if something was going on and whether everything was okay, but we received warm and attentive hospitality. We enjoyed rare local dishes such as salted grilled coho salmon and soba bean sprouts (absolutely delicious), and also tried painting kokeshi dolls while listening to a live Tsugaru shamisen performance (a wonderful souvenir), which let us fully experience the spirit of Aomori. The Onsen was at just the right temperature (slightly hot), warmed us through, and relieved our fatigue. It was all-inclusive, and we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks as well. Thank you very much.

Deeper into the Hanamaki Onsen area, Dai Onsen itself had a rather rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere, but this Accommodation is a reinforced-concrete building and one of the larger Accommodations in Dai Onsen. It had a strong Showa-era feel, yet everything was impeccably clean; the Onsen was spacious, with abundant free-flowing water that felt pleasantly gentle on the skin. Just as we had heard about the excellent food, both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared with many dishes, and everything was delicious. All staff members—both younger and older—were consistently pleasant and service-minded without ever being overbearing; their perfectly balanced attentiveness was wonderful. The Room had a nostalgic Showa-era ambiance that older guests will appreciate, and we slept well in this warm and welcoming Accommodation.

Used for an overnight stay after traveling abroad. The Onsen is very relaxing, and the meals are exceptionally delicious. The staff are wonderful as well, and it has become our go-to Accommodation after every trip.

This was our first family trip since losing my mother. As my father requires nursing care and had previously fallen in the bathroom in the Room, we were a bit worried. However, the entire property is barrier-free, and a wheelchair was available at the entrance. We didn’t need to use it, but it gave us great peace of mind. Everything was delicious, from the welcome sweets to dinner, and we were very satisfied with both the Japanese and Western breakfast options. My daughter usually prefers bread in the morning, but even she said the Japanese breakfast here was delicious. We were able to relax and take it easy for two days—thank you very much for your hospitality.

I truly enjoyed the world’s best breakfast. Not only the croissants, but also the other table breads, jams, vegetable drinks, tapioca, and everything else were delicious. I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in August, and everything was outstanding! First, the food: starting with peach soup with lobster on the first day, followed by artistically beautiful and delicate dishes. On the second day as well, from the prosciutto and Shine Muscat appetizer to char, wood-fired lamb… everything was perfect through dessert—we truly enjoyed every bite. The garden is spacious and beautifully maintained, with wonderful views. The open-air rock bath was amazing. The Room was also spacious and spotless, allowing us to relax at our own pace—it was pure bliss. The staff’s greetings were warm and pleasant, and this is an Accommodation we definitely want to return to. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

With its simple design and calming atmosphere, this Accommodation is recommended for restoring both body and mind. In particular, the Japanese and herbal tea lounge on the 8th floor lets you blend Japanese tea with herbal ingredients yourself, place them into a tea bag, and enjoy a wellness tea while relaxing music plays—an experience that left us fully satisfied.

The Room had a private Onsen with an amazing view, and being able to soak in it again and again was truly soothing. My wife and I also had a wonderful time together. Thank you very much for your courteous, kind service, including the teppanyaki dishes we ordered additionally. Reservations are rarely available, but if possible, we would love to stay at this Accommodation again.

The property was quiet, and I was able to relax very comfortably. The Onsen was also a milky white sulfur spring, and it felt like it would be good for the body. It was a Hotel that made me want to visit again.

I stayed here to enjoy the Onsen, and all three baths in the building were excellent. The open-air bath in the sky was especially refreshing—I could have stayed in it forever. Each of the three baths had both hot and lukewarm tubs, so I could choose what I liked. Since it was a weekday after the Obon holidays, it wasn’t crowded and I was able to truly relax. As a solo traveler, my Room was a single Room like you’d find at a Business Hotel, but that’s what I expected, so it wasn’t an issue. The Onsen Shrine just a 1-minute walk from the Hotel was also quiet and became one of my favorite spots (you can pray for safe bathing). There are footbaths inside the station, in front of the station, and around town as well—Furutakiya is an outstanding Accommodation as a base for Yumoto, an Onsen town. Although I booked a Plan without meals, I had dinner at the dining venue “Tsudaya” on the second floor. The seafood rice bowl was delicious, and their à la carte dishes also looked great.

There was no step between the bathroom/toilet and the Room, which made it very comfortable to stay. Nearby, there is an official Kamome no Tamago shop and a local supermarket, so I found the location convenient. I usually choose a plan without breakfast, but since it was a breakfast featuring Sanriku ingredients, I decided to include it this time. The scallop shell-grilled dish was so delicious it felt almost too good for breakfast! I would like to stay here again when visiting Ofunato.

The meals were absolutely delicious. Everything we ate felt carefully prepared, and it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was also excellent across the board and exceeded our expectations. The bath was great as well. We would definitely love to visit again!

We gathered from various places to celebrate our elderly parent's birthday and stayed for one night. First, we relaxed together in the private bath while watching the clouds drift by. The specially prepared sparkling water was a delightful touch. The Onsen made us quite hungry, so we chose a small portion gourmet plan considering my mother, but it left us all fully satisfied. We were touched by the thoughtful celebration gesture from the accommodation, and the mulberry jam we purchased at the shop on our way home was delicious as well. During our stay, whether it was walking freely on the spacious tatami or feeling the warmth of the staff, there was always a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you very much!

The free-flowing Onsen water pours vigorously from the wall into the indoor bath, and in the open-air bath it cascades like a waterfall from the rocks—something Onsen lovers will truly appreciate. This was my father’s favorite place, and he was very happy. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. On the way to the large public bath, it was fun to see carp gathering where the spring water flows and bathing under it like a waterfall shower. The Room felt refreshingly cool with lush green trees outside. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was my third stay. After arriving while it was still light out, I first enjoyed Goshobo’s semi-mixed Onsen and the large public bath with its golden Onsen. Since it was summer, even a short soak left me sweating nonstop. In the large bath, I shared the water with someone for the first time here; we had a pleasant chat and ended up soaking a bit longer. Dinner was a lighter, seafood-focused course. The chilled Awaji spiny lobster soup was a perfect match with Koshu wine. The highlight began with sashimi of meita-garei flounder and aged sea bream, followed by more Akashi-ura fish to enjoy. The charcoal-grilled Spanish mackerel and the Akashi sea bream acqua pazza were both seasonal specials you can only have here at this time of year. The broth in the acqua pazza was much lighter than last autumn’s filefish version. To finish, the cheese course left me fully satisfied in both quality and quantity—thank you for the wonderful meal. For breakfast, I switched back to the standard menu: milk, soup, vegetables—an all-around delicious plate—beautiful French toast, and yogurt meant to savor the jam and honey. Everything tasted exactly as good as expected. Even the mini breads were great; this time, the buttery croissant was my favorite. In my Room bath, I topped up little by little while letting it cool slightly, enjoying a pleasantly lukewarm golden Onsen. The breeze through the window felt wonderful: lush greenery everywhere, distant summer skies, murmuring sounds of life outside—and cicadas loud enough not to lose to them. Summer Onsen really is something special. After breakfast I alternated between the golden Onsen and the low-temperature sauna. It was an extremely satisfying holiday stay. Thank you very much. P.S. The Western-style room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. There was a wide variety of dinner options, making it easy to choose. The Shinshu salmon was delicious. The soft-serve ice cream machine was self-serve, and the ice cream was rich and tasty. I’d like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

I mainly travel in the Tokai region, and I was very satisfied with both the Facility and the price.

I was completely satisfied with my stay and truly felt, “I definitely want to stay here again.” First of all, all the staff were incredibly kind, and I was able to spend my time comfortably from arrival to departure. The Room was meticulously maintained and exceptionally clean. The open-air Onsen bath in the Room was a luxurious experience—I could enjoy the Onsen as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted. What stood out most was the outstanding cuisine. It featured an abundance of local ingredients, with such a wide variety that it couldn’t possibly all fit on the menu—and every dish was remarkably delicious. I could really feel the chef’s dedication and care. It was also very helpful that there were EV charging facilities. Being able to charge during my stay gave me peace of mind for the drive the next day. I’d love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

As a dual-income couple, it’s been hard for us to coordinate time off, but at 54 we finally made our trip to Hokkaido happen. We will definitely visit again. Would spring or autumn be nice as well? It was truly an exceptional experience—wonderful time, atmosphere, and cuisine.
