I stayed here on a solo trip. Because it is small, everything is well cared for, making it a very pleasant Accommodation. From the aroma scents to the polished furnishings, attention to detail can be felt throughout, and the whole Accommodation has a warm wooden feel. The corner Room by the clear stream also had a raised terrace area where I could relax. Since there are only a few Rooms, I was able to enjoy the bath without overlapping with other guests and soak at ease. Thank you very much—I would love to stop by again.

The Room, the meals, and the rural scenery... everything was wonderful! Even travel guidance was provided, and the services were excellent, which made our trip truly enjoyable. Its kaleidoscopic beauty resonates deeply in the heart. Exquisitely prepared with sincere care, the cuisine is truly delicious. A beautiful garden that reflects the seasons—so captivating you could gaze at it forever. Elegant summer décor that lets you fully experience Kyoto’s traditional culture. Hanging scrolls, ikebana, and a beautifully arranged Room down to every detail. The head chef, attendants, the young proprietress, and the proprietress herself offer warm, attentive hospitality with genuine grace. Thinking that all of this beauty is an expression of love for each guest fills me with freshness and gratitude. At Kikkawa, you can feel the refined spirit of Kyoto—an appreciation for making everyday life beautiful and joyful. It began as an Accommodation I hoped to stay at at least once in my life; before I knew it, this was my 11th visit. A superb culinary Ryokan I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who truly loves Kyoto.

Getting to Enoura Observatory on a previous trip was difficult due to limited access, so I was a bit worried since it’s nearby. However, the careful pick-up and drop-off at the station put me at ease. I wanted to see the ocean, so next time I’ll request a Room with a better sea view. I thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s outstanding skill, the variety of tableware, and the beautiful presentation (and of course everything tasted wonderful) — it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. They also served rare local fish with superb knife work, and I was able to savor fish I had never seen before. The flavor truly comes through because of that precise technique. As I don’t eat much, I asked for smaller portions; it must have been difficult to prepare, but they accommodated me thoughtfully and I was able to enjoy the meal. I look forward to visiting again for the cuisine next time as well.

We stayed with our child, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. They prepared futons for our child’s nap, and even provided a baby bouncer and a diaper trash bin, which made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. The meals were excellent, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We also loved that the soft drinks, beer, and other beverages stocked in the refrigerator were complimentary. Drinks were available after bathing as well, and we felt that every small service was well taken care of. All staff members were polite and attentive, making our stay pleasant from start to finish. This is a wonderful Ryokan where families with children can stay with peace of mind.

I have stayed here several times. Every visit, I’m impressed by the warm service, the simple and spotless Room, and the soothing greenery—my satisfaction is always extremely high at this Hotel. While service standards at Hotels across Japan have been declining due to staff shortages, this Hotel continues to uphold the tradition of classic hospitality and could serve as a model for Hotel professionals nationwide. I would love to visit again next summer.

While we were waiting for the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, they kindly offered us cold drinks and showed great consideration in many ways. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was stylish—both the taste and presentation were very satisfying.

Our family of four, ranging in age from our 60s to 90s, enjoyed a relaxed and unhurried stay. We were very satisfied with the Onsen, the meals, and the Room, but above all, the warm hospitality of the staff truly put us at ease. The calm atmosphere of Owani Onsen was wonderful, and we would love to return once more before the snowy season begins.

I stayed in a newly renovated Room, and it was wonderful. The in-room perks were excellent. In particular, the all-you-can-eat gelato was an incredibly generous service—perfect after the Onsen—and I enjoyed trying many different flavors. Everything was delicious. The pre-dinner aperitif can be chosen from the menu, and the lounge coffee machine is truly high-quality, so I used it many times. Both the quality and quantity of the meals were very satisfying, and what impressed me most was the staff. There were many young team members, but everyone’s hospitality was outstanding. Some staff members spent a long time chatting with elderly guests because they were approached for conversation, yet they responded without showing any displeasure at all—I was genuinely impressed. You can also enjoy two different types of Onsen water, and I think this Accommodation offers excellent value for money. I will definitely return again. The meals were delicious, and having a private family bath allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. I was happy that yukata-style loungewear was provided. I did feel the waistband elastic could have been a bit tighter, but it was still comfortable to wear. We could sense thoughtful attention in many little details, which made us feel warmly welcomed. Last summer, after renting a nearby vacation home and visiting Morito Beach, we discovered SCAPES THE SUITE. We made a Reservation because we were drawn to the easy beach access and the property’s atmosphere, and we had been looking forward to our stay. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy the sea with our family, including our two young daughters. We used the pick-up and drop-off service from Zushi Station, and being greeted by a classic Cedric taxi instantly set a resort mood. We arrived a little early and planned to wait in the lobby, but perhaps because of my IKYU Diamond membership, we were shown to our Room right away. It was the twin “Mandarin Orange.” It felt more spacious than expected, with the Shonan sea right in front of us and Enoshima clearly visible at all times. Due to the weather we only caught a faint glimpse of Mt. Fuji for a moment, but having the ocean always in view was truly soothing. After the concierge kindly showed us around the Room, they helped arrange our one-hour private jacuzzi time (per Room) as well as breakfast time. We were worried about an approaching typhoon, but fortunately it took a course that didn’t affect us much—so we even enjoyed occasional sunshine. Our daughters’ family was able to swim several times, while we grandparents stayed in the Room caring for our 7-month-old grandchild. It was wonderfully relaxing. With children aged three and zero with us, we ate out for dinner; however, the Hotel restaurant also looked very appealing. This time we only had breakfast and lunch here, but next time we would love to try dinner as well. No matter where you look from within this property—the balcony or even from the jacuzzi—the view of the sea never gets old. That scenery itself felt like your greatest hospitality. We also strongly felt how much everyone working there loves Hayama—and loves this Hotel. The pride and care of both the concierge team and those serving at breakfast/the restaurant really came through. We were also delighted by your gift: Genbei’s famous beach sandals. You coordinated sizes and colors for each family member perfectly—our daughters’ family was thrilled. Finally, after receiving an outstanding carrot dressing as well, we headed home feeling refreshed. Not only in summer but in any season, SCAPES is a place where you can truly relax—and we would love to return again. Thank you very much to everyone at the Hotel.

We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

You can spend the entire day enjoying Maruki Winery, one of Japan’s oldest wineries, while taking in a beautiful Japanese garden. For dinner, we had a tea kaiseki meal—one unforgettable moment after another. The Room also features a private Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water rich in sulfur minerals. I learned what true adult relaxation feels like: unhurried, luxurious, and blissful. This is truly the best Accommodation. Next time, I’ll book a Multiple Night Stay.

Just looking out at the lake from our Room made me feel truly happy. Everything in the Hotel, starting with the Room, was so comfortable that I was really glad we chose to stay here. The portions were very generous and a bit too much for me, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again. Next time, I’m planning to come by car with my husband, and I’m already looking forward to it. (I also loved the wonderful bath in our Room, but I wanted to see the Onsen building as well; I’m very sorry for the trouble caused regarding the lockers.)

We stayed here for a family trip during the Obon holidays. They kindly provided taxi pick-up and drop-off to Nagano Station, which was very helpful. The staff were attentive, and the facility was clean and pleasant, making our stay truly relaxing. The meals were also excellent. We would love to visit again in a different season. Located by the harbor, the detached guest Room was quiet and relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room was also very comfortable. The cuisine was excellent and truly enjoyable, starting with deep-fried tuna collar. We could also feel the staff’s attentiveness, and we had a pleasant stay.

Very pleasant and welcoming service, delicious meals, an easy-to-use Room, and a Moor Onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I was impressed to be served herring prepared with fine cuts like hamo bone-cutting—truly Hokkaido. I loved the gazpacho so much I wanted to take it home! That said, being from Kansai, I found the broth flavor of the surinagashi a little mild. Also, the duvet felt a bit heavy. I’d love to visit again someday.

My companion uses a wheelchair, and thanks to the thoughtful support from all the staff, we had a very comfortable stay. The staff member who assisted us was kind, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful (I would be happy if they could assist us again next time). We will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.
