We were blessed with great weather on this trip—clear skies every day and stunning views of Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan from the mountain. Because this Facility comes so highly recommended, we arrived early to make the most of it. With the all-inclusive plan, we enjoyed a beer right away while soaking in the open-air bath on our Room’s balcony. The Room had a Western antique style, and everything—from the bed and furnishings to the tableware—was superb. The Italian dinner was outstanding and truly worthy of an auberge, and the house wine was exceptionally delicious. The hospitality was excellent as well; the owner personally greeted us, and we had a wonderful conversation. From around sunset, a sea of clouds began to spread out—so spectacular that even the owner said it was something rarely seen. We were able to fully enjoy both an incredible meal and breathtaking scenery.

Thank you very much—I’m truly grateful for such a wonderful trip experience. I had errands in Hita City (where record-high temperatures have been continuing), so I stayed overnight in Yufuin as well. It was intensely hot that day too، but from evening through night Yufuin felt like another world—so cool that air conditioning didn’t seem necessary. While winters are certainly very cold، I never expected Yufuin to be this cool in summer، so it turned out to be a happy surprise. The Onsen temperature was perfect—even in summer—for soaking slowly，and all my fatigue disappeared. In the morning，with Mt．Yufu right ahead of me，surrounded by birdsong，I enjoyed an unhurried soak. It was amazingly cool even then. As described，the shower does take a little time before hot water comes out. If set to mist mode，it stays cold. There are two private family baths، but one was under adjustment and unavailable، so I deducted one star. In-room drinks were available freely. Daifuku were prepared according to our party size؛ since they were cream-based، those who don’t like creamy sweets didn’t eat them. A more classic type of sweet might suit everyone better—but I personally enjoyed them. Dinner started with eel shabu-shabu before the main Wagyu steak course. I felt slightly uneasy at first—but it turned out absolutely superb!! It was part of the July menu (Fumizuki)، and I'd love to have it again. The plump texture and deliciousness clearly came from careful preparation. The soup after drawing flavor from the broth became wonderfully rich؛ I asked for refills many times。 They offered zosui (rice porridge)，but we chose to enjoy it as soup instead。 Then beautifully glossy white rice arrived—and turning that into porridge would have been such a waste，so I'm glad we kept them separate。 All other dishes also left my family—usually quite strict with reviews—very satisfied。 We could bring our dog without any hesitation۔ There is also a dog run that's just right for small dogs，and ours looked delighted running around。 Even though we'd stayed years ago ،they remembered that our dog hadn't finished his meal then ،and had eaten half at dinner و half at breakfast—which made us feel reassured۔ Service-wise ،there wasn't even once when something felt off۔ Although our interaction time wasn't long ，they took great care of us۔ Thank you again for everything۔ I hope we can return throughout different seasons۔

We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

Over the past few years, this Accommodation has become a place our family wants to visit at least once a year, and both kids and adults are always completely satisfied. This summer vacation we weren’t planning a trip to the Izu area, so we thought a summer stay might not be possible—but when we learned about the summer vacation discount offer, we knew we had to go and made a last-minute Reservation. With prices rising everywhere, we truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture from the Facility. As always, every staff member—from arrival to departure—shows wonderful hospitality that makes for a genuinely relaxing stay. The Facility is also very clean. The summer vacation pop-up stalls were unexpectedly enjoyed more by the adults than the kids; it was fun seeing everyone feel like children again. It was disappointing that we couldn’t play tennis due to construction on the tennis courts, but there were so many enjoyable activities that we barely had enough time. We also love the surrounding satoyama countryside nature, so next time we’d like to stay in spring.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip. The Room was bright and pleasant, making it a very comfortable space. From the warm welcome to our departure, all the staff provided consistently thoughtful and attentive service throughout our stay, and we were impressed from start to finish. The Onsen was wonderful as well, and we enjoyed it many times. It left both our skin and hair feeling cared for and silky smooth. Thank you for taking care of us on the final day of our 3-night, 4-day trip to Nikko. Away from the lively area around Toshogu Shrine, we were able to savor Nikko deeply and quietly. From arrival to departure, every member of the Accommodation spoke to us warmly with a smile, and we spent our time feeling truly relaxed. The amenities in the Room and the drink service were also thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest details, and we did not feel inconvenienced in any way. The meals and Onsen we had been looking forward to most were absolutely wonderful, making these two days a truly happy time. Nikko’s water is excellent, and the coffee brewed with it was especially delicious—I even bought some beans on my way home. I’d like to brew coffee once more with the water you kindly gave us and reminisce about our trip to Nikko. I am also grateful for your courteous phone call when I carelessly left something behind in the Room, and for sending it promptly. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for the first time on our wedding anniversary last year and loved it so much that we visited again for this year’s anniversary. The view from the Room was truly amazing. The food felt very summery, looked beautiful, and was absolutely delicious. It was very quiet, and we were able to relax and take our time. Thank you very much. The only thing that concerned me this time—though it may just be a matter of personal preference—was the smell as soon as we entered the Room. I thought it might have been potpourri placed in the hallway, but each time we walked through the hallway it smelled strange. We would like to visit again in autumn with my mother, and we are looking forward to it.

If you’re staying in Gero for the architecture, Yunoshimakan is the place; if you’re staying for great food, I’d say this is it—Suimeien. Every dish was delicious, and the ayu sweetfish in particular was outstanding. The annex where we stayed was an adults-only area, which may be why it was so quiet at night. I was able to truly relax for the first time in a while. It also felt special to have access to a private Onsen reserved exclusively for annex guests—it was a fun and memorable experience. Both large public baths had towels available at the entrance, so there was no need to go back to the Room to get one. I could enjoy the Onsen anytime on a whim without bringing anything with me. (I especially liked the large bath on the first floor.) There is also a spot inside where you can enjoy coffee while looking outside; after breakfast, I spent a relaxing time reading there. I was amazed at how spotless everything was throughout the property—surely thanks to the excellent work of your housekeeping staff. It truly became a wonderful trip. Thank you very much. I will definitely stay again.

From the Accommodation’s architecture to the bath and cuisine, every detail reflected excellent taste, allowing us to enjoy an elegant and special time of relaxation surrounded by art. I have stayed at this Accommodation many times, and it was excellent. The meals, baths, views, and Room—everything was completely satisfying. The recent renovation that made it possible to enjoy the view while dining was a nice improvement, but it was a bit uncomfortable making eye contact with guests heading to the baths during the meal.

We stayed here as a couple.\n\nWe had been interested in this Accommodation for some time, and after actually staying, it exceeded our expectations. Above all, the milky-white free-flowing Onsen from the source was outstanding, and soaking at a leisurely pace felt truly luxurious. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath together without any worries, which became a wonderful memory.\n\nBoth dinner and breakfast featured carefully prepared dishes that made the most of local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. The Room had a private open-air bath, and it was wonderful. We also enjoyed the delicious drinks and snacks. The meals were generous in portion, and the Yamato beef shabu-shabu was especially excellent. The children were thrilled with the table tennis and board games as well!

This was a return visit. I stayed here to visit my family’s grave and Koryu Shrine. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was truly pleasant. The meals were delicious both to the eye and the palate. Breakfast included a partial buffet, and everything was always kept beautifully arranged. The bath and changing area were consistently clean and well maintained, which impressed me with how attentive the staff are. This is an Accommodation that makes you want to stay again!

Four women stayed in a Japanese-Western style room—ocean view!! We relaxed on the spacious sofa, and our conversation really flowed. Above all, the meals were outstanding. Every dish in the creative dinner was simply “Delicious!” Breakfast was a perfect 100, too! The front desk’s attentiveness and the restaurant’s serving timing were also flawless.

This is a wonderful Ryokan that moves me every time I visit. The Room, baths, cuisine, the staff’s smiles, and the overall atmosphere throughout the property are all exceptional, and time seems to slow down. Both the fresh enthusiasm of the younger staff and the understated attentiveness of the experienced staff naturally bring a smile. The welcome service includes soft drinks as well as wine—and that wine is surprisingly delicious. Breakfast also comes with a choice of drinks; the 100% peach juice is pure peach—peach! peach! peach!—and absolutely worth trying at least once. And the cuisine is outstanding. Though the chef is young, everything—from seasonal menus and presentation to masterful use of dashi—is superb. The creativity is remarkable, and the expressive artistry of each dish (including the tableware) is truly next level. The view from the open-air bath in our Room—sunlit green trees against a blue sky—was beautiful, and soaking in an open-air bath during a sudden downpour was an experience with its own special charm. This is a lovely kappo-style Ryokan that soothes me every time I stay. Having visited in spring and summer, I would love to return in autumn next time.

We stayed in a villa with our family of four and our Chihuahua. Since it’s a bit away from the main building, we were very satisfied that Shuttle Service was provided each time we needed it. The Room and bath were amazing, and our daughters were excited the whole time! The food quality was excellent—especially the risotto, which was incredibly delicious. We also used the pool and were very satisfied. If I could share just two suggestions: since we traveled with our dog, it would have been nice if the area around the villa had better-maintained paths for walking. Also, while Wi‑Fi was available, we wished the TV had internet access so we could watch Netflix or YouTube. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.
