We personally visit producers to ensure the quality and passion behind the ingredients. Monthly tasting sessions are held within the team to perfect the seasonal Kaiseki menu. Responding to popular demand, in July 2022, we transformed the large communal bath and guest rooms with open-air baths into Onsen facilities. A professional in Japanese sake, often referred to as the 'Sommelier of Sake.' At Kakimotoya, we carefully select local sake from Nara, matching the season and the monthly Kaiseki menu, and offer them with a professional touch. What is a "Vegetable Sommelier"? An expert in selecting vegetables and fruits, understanding their nutrients, and determining the best cooking methods for each ingredient.
