I always spend the summer in Hokkaido, and this time I visited Niseko again after a long time. Niseko seems to have changed quite a bit recently, and I chose this place because I wanted to see what it’s like now while also sensing an atmosphere somewhat like Karuizawa. The Hotel Room had a spacious layout that I really loved, and the Onsen was amazing—open 24 hours with free-flowing natural spring water. Dinner, one of the true highlights of traveling, was also outstanding. It was my first time having a chef prepare and serve each dish fresh right in front of me, and I truly enjoyed such a luxurious meal. The service was attentive down to the smallest details, and I was deeply impressed. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay here again.

The meals were truly outstanding. The sake pairings were also excellent. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to return to for the first time in a while.

We truly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, savoring delicious dishes made with local ingredients. The in-room bath was a luxurious free-flowing Onsen, available anytime for a relaxing soak. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and our whole family was very satisfied with choosing this Accommodation.

I love this Accommodation so much that I stay almost every month. This month, I stayed as a birthday treat for myself. This Accommodation is highly recommended. The Room was clean and comfortable, and with the fresh greenery of the season, the semi-open-air Onsen was absolutely wonderful. The front desk staff were also very helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. The location and surroundings are excellent. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Next time, I plan to choose the largest Room with an open-air bath.

We traveled around Kumamoto by rental car with my spouse and our two sons, and stayed at Soan in two Rooms. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. The Onsen water quality was excellent, and we felt deeply relaxed after bathing. The Rooms were clean and comfortable, making this Accommodation a great choice for a family trip. I highly recommend it, and would love to stay again if we have the chance.

We stayed here for our second night. We were blessed with great weather—it was perfect. Since we arrived early, we visited Otaki Falls nearby, but the valley was deep and the elevation changes were intense, leaving us completely exhausted. (There were some fallen trees and rockfalls, so we had to take a detour.) This is a wonderful auberge, just as reputed. That day it was only our group, so we fully enjoyed the private bath, and the Room was lovely—we could relax and truly enjoy a cool summer getaway. Every dish was delicious, and the wine at dinner was outstanding. We were especially impressed by the peach dessert. The owners’ warm hospitality was exceptional—this has become an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again.

The cuisine was outstanding and truly moving. Each dish reflected careful selection of fresh local ingredients and meticulous preparation. Given the location, I expected excellent seafood, but the vegetables were beyond anything I imagined. This Accommodation is well worth going out of your way for.

Just as everyone wrote in their Reviews, everything—from the surroundings and the building to the furniture and amenities—was high quality and comfortable, and we were able to fully enjoy a Scandinavian-style getaway. Coffee on the terrace while listening to the birds singing was amazing! The only disappointment was that there were no wine glasses!! They’re an essential item for our meals, so we would really appreciate it if you could provide them. Thank you in advance.

It was simply amazing!! I’ve stayed at many large Ryokan, and I was delighted to enjoy both the scenic-view baths and a variety of hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with more food than we could finish. Everything was truly delicious—thank you very much. The building had a classic, long-established feel, but the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We stayed with our child and had a great time without ever getting bored, thanks to the pool, fishing, arcade, and play area. It made us want to come back again if we get the chance. We debated among several Accommodations on Awaji Island (including sister properties), but we’re congratulating ourselves for making a great choice with Hotel New Awaji.

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Fresh flowers were beautifully arranged throughout the building, everything was spotless, and the lounge offerings—drinks and sweets—were excellent. The breakfast mochi was also outstanding! It was a lovely Accommodation that left our whole family very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Conveniently located near Dogo Onsen Station, the view from the Room was great, with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Matsuyama Castle visible. The window glass had a pattern, so it would have been even better if it were completely clear. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sense of cleanliness. The large public bath on the top floor was also very relaxing, and I especially recommend the open-air bath! We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and there were many local dishes and unique items—everything was delicious. Dinner was a half-buffet, but we were very full, so I thought it would be nice to have a Plan with buffet only (it may already exist...). Also, I’d be happy if there were mandarin orange juice at breakfast! It was also great to have live piano music in the evening.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. I have stayed here several times, and everything was wonderful again this time. I accidentally left something behind when checking out, but the staff noticed it and it was a great help. I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and smiles of all the staff, as well as their clear and courteous explanations. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we were very satisfied. We visited with my son’s family. Traveling with our 8-month-old baby, we had some concerns, but even though we made Reservations for two Rooms on different dates, the staff kindly arranged for us to dine together and showed thoughtful care in many situations, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much—it became a wonderful memory. My son’s family also said they would like to come again, and we hope to visit again as well.

Although this is a historic Onsen Ryokan, the property is impeccably maintained throughout, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail and quality in every corner. Our family of four enjoyed a truly wonderful stay with dinner and breakfast included. Above all, the Room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for each of us to relax comfortably, while also being perfect for gathering together as a family to chat and enjoy tea and sweets. The in-room beverages were also well stocked—the coffee and tea were excellent—and of course the private open-air bath in the guest room was amazing. We had both dinner and breakfast in a private dining room. The staff member who took care of us was highly professional and kind; everything from the timing of each course to the explanations of every dish and overall service was flawless, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably from start to finish. And finally, the greatest highlight here is definitely the Onsen! There are many different types of baths on site—so many that we seriously discussed “the best order” to try them all (laughs)! We were so busy enjoying the Onsen that we didn’t have time to relax with drinks in the lounge. That just gives us an excuse to come back. In short, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this stay with dinner and breakfast included. The Room, cuisine, service, and Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. This Accommodation comes highly recommended for anyone who loves hot springs or wants a relaxing time at an Onsen Ryokan. We would love to stay again!

On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.
