A natural Onsen facility located just near Narita Airport. The open-air observation bath offers an exceptional sense of openness, allowing you to soak while watching planes take off and land. In addition to a relaxing lounge area, we also offer massage services, karaoke, and more. Entry to the capsule rooms is available from 5:00 PM, but the baths, hot stone sauna, and dining area can be used from 10:00 AM. Hoshio Hamlet, tucked deep in Nammoku Village at the far western edge of Gunma Prefecture, is a true hidden retreat where Japan’s nostalgic original landscape still remains. Our accommodation, Bandai Nishimuraya, is a peaceful mountain retreat located in an onsen town surrounded by the Adatara Mountains to the east, Mount Bandai to the west, and the Azuma mountain range to the north. Since around 1600 AD, when an onsen was discovered at the foot of Mount Adatara, it has also been used as a therapeutic hot spring. Our 100% natural flowing onsen features high acidity levels and is known for its benefits in treating gastrointestinal diseases, rheumatic conditions, cuts, and other external injuries. It attracts numerous visitors throughout the year. There is also a ski resort nearby that makes our accommodation popular among families enjoying winter skiing. The hosts of this property are a traveling couple who moved from Kanto, enchanted by Lake Mashu. The building is old and evokes nostalgia for the Showa era, but please relax in the natural onsen to relieve your travel fatigue! The host, who loves traveling and has camped 200 nights at Lake Mashu, will introduce hidden spots around Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Akan. Cyclists and riders are welcome! Mountain climbers, campers, and workers are also encouraged to use the facilities.
