Our story began when an Onsen sprang forth after we dug at a place seen in a dream. We named it “Yume no Yu” and started with a single small inn—this is the origin of our Accommodation (Oda Onsen). Also enshrined here to this day is the “Ryujin Tree” (dragon-shaped tree roots), which was also seen in that same dream. A small rural farming village has since become a mountain Onsen retreat. Yachi Onsen, one of Japan's three secret hot springs, is located in the Hakkoda Mountains and boasts a history of over 400 years since its opening. The gentle water, naturally gushing directly from the bottom of the bath, is effective for back pain and eczema. Enjoy two different types of spring water: the 38°C sacred spring called "Shimo-no-Yu" and the 42°C milky white "Kami-no-Yu."
