The front desk service was courteous, and I appreciated that they promptly called a taxi for the next day. The Room was clean and comfortable. In addition, there is a convenience store attached to the Hotel, which is handy even when it’s windy and rainy. I would like to stay here again.

It was a very nice Ryokan. The food, the baths, the service, and even the Jersey milk after bathing were all excellent. There were many international guests as well, but everyone was quiet and respectful, which I appreciated. Just one point: my child’s rate was half price, but the meal was a kids’ plate. Since my child doesn’t like “kid-style” dishes such as fried shrimp, they ate from the adults’ meal instead, and I ended up eating the kids’ meal. I would have appreciated being informed in advance that children would be served a different dinner.

Simply the best. The staff’s professionalism, service, Room, meals, and architecture—everything was outstanding, and it made for a truly satisfying stay. The fittings were beautifully maintained, and it was fun just walking around and taking in the Facility. The amenities were well stocked, and the minibar was exceptionally well supplied, making for a wonderful time. And above all, the food was incredible—both dinner and breakfast were a perfect 10/10. Great care is also put into the desserts, which were delicious. A place I definitely want to return to.

This was my first stay at Dormy Inn, and I finally understood why my daughters always say, “This Hotel is great” whenever they use it on their trips. It goes without saying that it was quiet and the breakfast was delicious. What I personally loved most was the bottled water in the fridge—it was incredibly cold and felt amazing on my sweaty throat. Since it’s often left outside the fridge at other places, I was genuinely happy about that. There were also snacks provided, which helped satisfy a small hunger. Having a TV in the bathroom was a first for me, and watching a program while soaking in the bath was such a unique experience. The staff were all cheerful and efficient, which left a great impression. Thanks to this stay, I had a wonderful time in Matsue. As an aside, Dormy Inn’s character “Dormy Inko-chan” is adorable—it's rare to see a mascot with that kind of look (lol). Thank you for the sticker as well. I’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

The meals were very delicious. The staff were kind and pleasant. I appreciated the bath’s reheating function. The bath salts were also great. It was a Room that beautifully renovated a traditional storehouse.

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She requested to see the Onsen she had visited with my late father during their honeymoon, and also the snow monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park. We chose this Accommodation because Reviews repeatedly mentioned the private family bath and a homey, relaxing atmosphere. True to the Reviews, it was a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place. The warm glow of washi paper lamps displayed throughout was beautiful, and we could feel the proprietress’s thoughtful care in every detail. And the food—absolutely delicious! Dinner just kept coming (laugh). Every dish was freshly made and served hot. The best of all was the kake soba hand-made by the chef that very morning. I love soba and visit many places, but I’m sorry—this was truly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Breakfast also made us happy with piping-hot dashimaki tamago. The highlight of breakfast was the miso soup—I wanted to take home the whole pot. As we’ve gotten older, we choose our trips carefully based on both meals and Accommodation quality, and this place offered outstanding value for money. More than anything, we made unforgettable memories here. On our way out, I bought one of the lamps that were on display at the Accommodation as a gift for my mother. Thanks to you, it became the best birthday present possible. We’ll come again in winter—and again for her birthday next year too. It was conveniently located near Minami-Koshigaya Station, and there was also a convenience store nearby. I didn’t take any amenities, but a variety were available, so it seemed suitable even for a last-minute stay. I’m planning to stay in the Minami-Koshigaya area again at the end of the year, so I may book here again.

Thanks to the warm and courteous service, I felt at ease throughout my stay. The location is very convenient if you are traveling by car. For guests arriving by train, a Shuttle Service was also available to Shimoda Station. Because I have many food allergies, I chose a Plan without meals. However, the Accommodation staff kindly recommended local restaurants, and we were fortunate to get a Reservation. I was able to enjoy an outstanding simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), which was absolutely delicious. The young international staff were wonderful as well—their smiles were lovely, their Japanese was excellent, and they worked with great dedication. As someone who can only speak Japanese comfortably, I truly respect them. The bath was also fantastic: the Izu stone in the indoor bath glowed a beautiful blue, and its soft texture felt very pleasant on the skin. The night view of Shimoda Port and the sunset outside the window were stunning. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

The riverside open-air bath was closed, but we used the outdoor Onsen reached by going down 300 steps. The staircase is so narrow that only one person can pass at a time. We were told it’s open until 11:00 p.m., but we were worried about our footing at night, so we went in the evening and again in the morning. While soaking, we enjoyed the river’s flow and the mountains, listening to the sound of the water. The stairs were tough, but I truly felt glad we came. The semi-open-air bath down about 20 steps was also wonderful, with a clear view of the mountains right in front of you. The temperature was perfect for me. I didn’t expect much from the indoor bath, but it had large windows and felt very pleasant; there was a jacuzzi, a reclining bath, and a hotter pool where we could relax comfortably. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind and welcoming. Dinner came in many small dishes. The beef and the meatballs in the hot pot were delicious. Even simple items like the beef sauce, hot-pot broth, and pickles were all excellent. The portions were just right for us as a couple. I think you need to be fairly fit to visit an outdoor Onsen that requires going down 300 steps—but I’m really glad we did. This isn’t about the Accommodation itself, but both the bus driver from Nasushiobara Station and the person at Shiobara Onsen Terminal who explained a map of Shiobara Onsen were incredibly friendly, which made our memories of this trip even better. Thank you very much!

It had been a while since my spouse and I stayed here, and thank you for taking such good care of us. As always, the staff, the Room, the meals, and the bath (in-room bath) were all very satisfying. This is an Accommodation we would like to stay at again.

Everything—the views, the Room, the baths, the meals, and the hospitality—was outstanding. My whole family kept saying again and again that we had never stayed at such a wonderful Ryokan. First of all, the baths! The view of Otaru spread out below from the open-air bath was breathtaking. (We also really appreciated that the amenities were from a well-known cosmetics brand and that towels were always available.) Inside the Ryokan, there were furnishings that evoked the former prosperity of the Herring Mansion, making it an irresistible place for history lovers. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I especially can’t forget the potato with butter sauce—a long-loved specialty of this Ryokan. It was such an incredible time that I almost didn’t want to recommend it to others. I definitely want to come back again next time.

This was my first stay here. What a wonderfully calming Accommodation. It’s not brand-new, but it’s very clean thanks to thorough housekeeping, and it also incorporates modern conveniences such as motion-sensor lighting. Even though I chose a lighter meal course, I ended up completely full. And everything was delicious. At this price, it’s truly great value. I also thought an Onsen visit in August would be lovely. It’s an Accommodation I’d definitely like to stay at again.

I stayed here after a live event. It was my first time staying at an APA Hotel, and I was more satisfied than I expected! The check-in guidance was outstanding—far better than any other Hotel—so it deserves more than five stars. The Room was very clean, and the services were clearly explained as well; it really felt guest-first. Check-out was also super easy—I just returned the key and could leave right away. I will definitely stay at an APA Hotel again next time!!!! Thank you very much!!

I was happy to be able to celebrate my birthday here again this year. Not only was the Room wonderful, but the meals were delicious, and the staff’s hospitality was excellent—I’m always grateful. I stayed at the Hotel for the first time in over 30 years—a place my family visited almost every year from my teens through my thirties. While it has retained its classic charm, I could also feel how it has evolved with the times, making for a wonderful experience. As I headed home, I found myself reminiscing about old memories and hoping to create new ones from this year onward. Thank you very much.

Everything was outstanding! The Room was lovely, and the amenities had a wonderful fragrance that truly helped us relax. The lounge was self-service, but we had no trouble at all—there were delicious alcoholic drinks, snacks, as well as drinks and treats for children, so we were very satisfied. Although it’s a Hotel in the city center, access from the Room to the pool was convenient. Our three children played a lot in the pool on the second floor and were very happy. Breakfast served in the Room was also delicious, and we were impressed by the flawless hospitality. It’s a shame we could only stay one night. We would love to stay again when we visit Naha. Not only are the baths spacious, they are also kept extremely clean, making for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating time. The Shuttle Service staff, as well as all team members, were excellent, and the in-Room dining was delicious—there is nothing to complain about. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we will stay here. On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

I had business in Shibuya and chose this Hotel because it’s close to the station. I made a Reservation thinking I’d stay at a more upscale Hotel, and it was absolutely the right choice. The night view was wonderful, the Room temperature control was comfortable, and I opted for breakfast (Japanese style)—the rolled omelet and freshly cooked rice were excellent. Next time, I’d like to use the lounge.

The Room and beds were flawless. The meals were also more than sufficient for us as an older couple with smaller appetites—we even wondered, “Is this really a lighter portion?” Everything was delicious. Not only was dinner served in our Room, but we were also able to have breakfast in a private dining room, so we could enjoy it at our own pace. When the season changes, we would love to stay again and look forward to the seasonal menu changes.
