With only six guest rooms, we offer warm and close hospitality that only a small Property can provide. In the public space, where guests can spend their time as they wish, we have prepared picture books and toys for children to enjoy. Our cuisine features ingredients from the San'in and Northern Kinki regions, with seafood directly sourced from Kasumi Port and Shibayama Port. Enjoy seasonal local specialties such as live conger eel in spring, live squid in summer, Kasumi crab in autumn, and Shibayama crab in winter, prepared to highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients. On the first floor, the rock bath is a unique Onsen that utilizes the natural slope of the mountain behind the Property, while the second-floor bath area offers both an indoor bath and a semi-open-air bath. Kanko Hotel Daimonkaku is an accommodation where you can enjoy the freshest seafood from Genkai-nada, with "Yobuko's Live Squid Sashimi" as its main attraction.The live squid, known for its high transparency and crunchy texture, is a specialty of Yobuko that attracts visitors from across the whole country. In addition to squid, we offer seasonal seafood such as sea bream, abalone, sea urchin, and turban shell in carefully prepared kaiseki cuisine by our head chef.From the separate men’s and women’s panoramic large baths, you can enjoy views of Nago Bay and Yobuko Bridge. At night, the quiet fishing lights create a serene atmosphere, while in the morning you can witness the sunrise over the horizon. In winter, savor Matsuba crab; in summer, fresh squid; and in spring and autumn, Kasumi crab and premium fish like Nodoguro, all freshly caught at Kasumi Port in Hyogo Prefecture. The owner, being a broker, personally selects and purchases the seafood at auctions, ensuring exceptional freshness and quality. The Property was renovated in July 2021, introducing new Japanese-Western special rooms equipped with bedrooms and private baths, offering an extraordinary stay. Meals are served privately at individual table seating, and the open kitchen showcases freshly caught seafood of the day, which the chef prepares right in front of you upon special order. The large public bath features natural Kasumi Onsen (alkaline simple Onsen), with silver-lined mirrors and lighting creating a magical atmosphere to soothe your fatigue.

Forget your daily routine and relax to your heart's content. "Tokachigawa Onsen Sanyuan." This name originates from Tsuchiya Sanyu, the mentor of Yoda Benzo, who dedicated himself to the development of Tokachi and Obihiro. Tsuchiya Sanyu established a private school in Matsuzaki Town, Izu, and named it "Sanyu Juku."

Yamato Ryokan, which began as a tofu shop, serves handmade firm tofu every day. In addition to tofu dishes, we also offer Kumamoto’s specialty horse meat, including lava-grilled horse tenderloin and soy-milk horse shabu-shabu.

"Ryokan Kouro" is located in the heart of Kyoto, in the "Historic City Center" area within the Tanoji district, which is considered the central part of Kyoto. It is conveniently close to municipal subway and private railway stations, as well as a variety of restaurants and souvenir shops. Nishiki Market is just a 3-minute walk away, and Shinkyogoku and Kawaramachi are within a 5 to 10-minute walk.At the Ryokan, we take pride in serving our meals in your Room for both breakfast and dinner. While in-Room dining has become less common in recent years, you can enjoy the traditional Ryokan dining experience here. Our kaiseki cuisine, in particular, is highly praised for its use of seasonal ingredients and Kyoto-style presentation.Each Room is equipped with a private bath and toilet, but we also have a communal bath available. Though not large, the bath features a hinoki cypress tub, offering a relaxing way to unwind from your travels.In recent years, we have also introduced barrier-free Rooms. Since receiving our charge from Gen’emon Araya, head steward of the hot spring under the Maeda family of the former Daishoji Domain in Kaga, we have carried forward—day by day in our work—the essence of what must remain unchanged and what should evolve.
