The Iya Valley, where the Iya River flows from Mount Tsurugi and carves a V-shape into the Shikoku Mountains, offers breathtakingly majestic gorge scenery. "Keikoku no Kakure Yado Iya Bijin" is a Property with an Onsen and a soba restaurant, located right in front of this lush green valley and clear stream. Originally opened in 1975 as a handmade soba restaurant using local buckwheat and spring water, the Property later added 8 Rooms and a detached accommodation to provide visitors to Iya with a more relaxing and leisurely stay. All Rooms are equipped with open-air baths, allowing guests to fully enjoy the Onsen while admiring the stunning views. For meals, indulge in unique dishes featuring local river fish and vegetables, or gather around the irori hearth for hot pot and charcoal-grilled delicacies. To finish, savor our specialty Iya soba. Kiyasuya is a secluded Property located in the mountainous area of Sujiyu Onsen, at an altitude of 1,000 meters in Kokonoe Town, Oita Prefecture. Built in the autumn of 2006 with the spirit of its 30-year history, the Property's Rooms feature warm earthen walls and black-painted wooden fences, evoking the charm of traditional Japanese farmhouses and the serene atmosphere of a rural village. Each Room is a detached unit with its own open-air bath. The hot spring water, a clear sodium-chloride Onsen with a silky texture, is abundant and free-flowing, used not only for the baths but also for heating the Rooms. The gentle breeze passing through the surrounding grove softly stirs the waters. At "Yuno Accommodation Irifune," surrounded by rich nature, you can enjoy creative cuisine made with fresh vegetables from our own farm. A long-established Property located on the slopes of Mount Eboshi, one of the five peaks of Mount Aso, preserving the Jigoku Onsen which first opened in 1803. Stepping into the main building, which is over 100 years old and has been renovated after the Kumamoto Earthquake, feels like entering a different world, as if traveling back in time. The Onsen features three different sources, offering 11 baths across four locations, each with unique water qualities and atmospheres. Guests can enjoy the "Suzume no Yu," a "miraculous bath" rich in sulfur content with water bubbling up from the ground, as well as the highly acidic "Moto no Yu" and "Tamago no Yu," choosing baths based on their benefits and purposes.
