Responding to popular demand, in July 2022, we transformed the large communal bath and guest rooms with open-air baths into Onsen facilities. As an Onsen property, we have further enhanced our offerings. Enjoy the smooth and gentle Onsen waters as many times as you like. Additionally, our property is home to a variety of specialists, which adds to its charm. The master of our property is a "Sake Sommelier," and the proprietress is both a "Vegetable Sommelier" and an "Onsen Sommelier." What is a "Sake Sommelier"? A professional in Japanese sake, often referred to as the 'Sommelier of Sake.' At Kakimotoya, we carefully select local sake from Nara, matching the season and the monthly Kaiseki menu, and offer them with a professional touch. What is a "Vegetable Sommelier"? An expert in selecting vegetables and fruits, understanding their nutrients, and determining the best cooking methods for each ingredient.
