A hidden retreat with only 5 rooms nestled at the foot of Mount Aso. Renowned for the warm hospitality of the hosts and seasonal cuisine from Kumamoto. Guests rave about the delicious meals, saying, "Even my picky daughter finished her plate in no time!" Enjoy these delightful dishes in a cozy and homely atmosphere.
Our story began when an Onsen sprang forth after we dug at a place seen in a dream. We named it “Yume no Yu” and started with a single small inn—this is the origin of our Accommodation (Oda Onsen). Also enshrined here to this day is the “Ryujin Tree” (dragon-shaped tree roots), which was also seen in that same dream. A small rural farming village has since become a mountain Onsen retreat. Why not come and experience this mysterious Onsen, said to hold an uncanny power?
"Glamping Gokan" in Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is surrounded by rich natural beauty. Enjoy a private space where you can stay with your beloved dog and create unforgettable memories with your family. We offer a natural grass dog run, exclusive amenities, and handmade meals for your furry friend. For ultimate relaxation, experience our authentic wood-burning sauna and electric sauna, designed to help you "reset." Refresh yourself in the natural cold bath using underground water from Mount Narutake. Afterward, enjoy an open-air relaxation time while soaking in the nature of Nakagawa. Dinner features a hearty BBQ course with a show-stopping T-bone steak as the main dish. At night, gather around the campfire area for heartwarming moments under the stars.
We take pride in our Onsen, a variety of baths, and handmade cuisine crafted without relying on pre-made products (limited to a set number per day). Guests can enjoy five private baths at no additional charge. All baths feature free-flowing Onsen water. You are welcome to use the hinoki wood family bath or the stone family bath freely. The natural Onsen water is colorless, odorless, and sourced directly from our private spring on-site, flowing continuously (free-flowing source). Notably, Gennoyu and Koshiburo Ichinoyu are supplied directly through natural gravity as they are located lower than the spring source. Please note that as this is a wooden building, there is no elevator; guests will need to use stairs. Meals are served in the dining area. For stays of three nights or more, meals from the third night onward will repeat the menu from the first and second nights. We regret that we cannot accommodate changes to meal content (including allergies or preferences). All rooms and indoor areas are non-smoking, including electronic cigarettes.
