I stayed for one night with my parents. The room was very spacious and stylish, yet it felt calm and relaxing. We enjoyed the sauna and unwound in the large bath. The bed was wide and very comfortable. I had read in a Review that breakfast portions were small, but for older guests it was more than enough, and we really enjoyed the delicious freshly cooked rice. I would love to stay again.

We stayed with four friends and were extremely satisfied! The entire Accommodation was very clean, and the Facilities—sauna, jacuzzi, and BBQ setup—were well equipped, so we could enjoy ourselves at the villa all day. The beach is also within walking distance, making a morning stroll feel great and letting us fully enjoy a refreshing getaway. The kitchenware and amenities were well stocked, so we had no inconveniences. We’d definitely like to stay here again when we visit Kujukuri!

As many guests have said, this is an outstanding Hotel. From the moment you step inside, you immediately understand why it is the Imperial Hotel—thanks to the serene atmosphere and the refined hospitality of the staff. Our Room was a tatami-style Room in the North Wing, at eye level with Gion’s traditional Kyoto townhouses, and enjoying Kawakami’s breakfast there was such an elegant experience that we almost forgot we were in a Hotel. I have never written a Review before, but this Hotel was so wonderful that I simply had to.

Despite booking on short notice, we found a wonderful Accommodation. In response to our request for consideration regarding parking, you contacted us immediately, and we truly appreciate your exceptionally prompt support—something we rarely experience even after staying at many Accommodations. The amenities were excellent, and the two of us were already talking about visiting again soon. We hope to build a long and positive relationship with you.

I chose this place to treat my mother to the Summit Dinner Course for her birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful presentation and the taste! The view from the Room on the 3rd floor and from the bath was also wonderful. Since we had an elderly family member with us, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as a non-slip mat in the tub and a chair. We were extremely satisfied, and our whole family had a truly happy time. Thank you so much!

It was a wonderful stay. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we could still enjoy the garden and a hint of autumn foliage, and relax at a leisurely pace surrounded by lush greenery. The meals were delicious, the Onsen was very comfortable, and it made us wish we could stay for two or three days. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again.

Thank you for your heartfelt hospitality from arrival to departure. Talking with our assigned butler and the rest of the staff has also become one of the pleasures of our stay. We stayed again this year for my husband’s birthday. We were able to relax in the wonderful lounge and enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the beautiful views of the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens. Even though we hadn’t mentioned it this time, they still celebrated his birthday, which made us very happy. This is a Hotel we love—thoughtful in every detail and one we want to return to again and again.

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and an early birthday party for my younger sister. They prepared a lovely birthday card and a whole cake topped with plenty of fruit, which made both my mother and sister very happy! The house was extremely clean, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable. The private chef was also very friendly and carefully accommodated our requests in advance. We could truly feel the owners’ commitment to putting guests’ comfort first. Thank you so much.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

I visited again for the first time in about four years. Every area was thoroughly cleaned, and the Room was exceptionally spotless. For example, even the glass on the glass-fronted dish cabinet in the Room was shining—of course, so were the glasses. The mirrors, glass doors, and even the stainless-steel toilet paper holder in the restroom were gleaming, without a single fingerprint. Every large public bath was immaculate as well. All of the food was made with incredibly fresh ingredients—I’m amazed at how they managed to source everything. The staff were modest yet wonderfully pleasant; just being here makes me happy. Katsuragi Kitano-maru is a space that goes beyond “the best.”

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and I treated myself to a Multiple Night Stay solo to truly relax. I’m so glad I chose this place! I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, and this has become one of my top three favorites. Everything used throughout the Hotel is carefully selected and meticulously maintained. The staff were warm and kind in such a natural way—it was genuinely soothing. And the food—absolutely unforgettable! I had all three meals here, and if only I had another stomach, I would have loved to try even more from the menu. There were plenty of fresh local vegetables; everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented with great taste, and above all, you could feel the chef’s love in every dish. It makes perfect sense that so many guests return again and again. It was hot in midsummer, but I rented an e-bike, rode to the beach, and went for a swim. Just as rumored, the water was crystal clear—the beach was stunning—and it left me feeling completely refreshed. I will definitely come back in another season. On a midsummer night, I arrived exhausted from the heat and work. As soon as I stepped into the new, sophisticated entrance, it was cool, pleasantly scented, and calming—I felt relieved. After check-in, a staff member explained the Facility and amenities. Their gentle service was perfect for guests who just want to sleep. There were several types of bath salts available, and the basic skincare set was Sekkisei. When I entered the Room, I could clearly see the well-maintained lawn in front of the station and the trains through the window. Watching the nighttime scene outside from a clean, cool Room made me sleepy little by little. I was also happy to find Chill Out and chocolate in the refrigerator. The shower head was ReFa, and the hair dryer was Dyson. It was comfortable and I slept very well. This is a new, clean, modern Hotel where you can sleep comfortably in an urban setting. The staff were calm, gentle, and wonderful as well. I will stay here again.

This Hotel was truly exceptional, with breathtaking Hayama views and the warm hospitality of the staff. The Misaki-grown longtooth grouper served at dinner was especially memorable—the chef’s cooking was perfect, and I was genuinely impressed. The plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With wonderful cuisine and outstanding service, it became a truly special stay. Thank you very much.

In the wonderful space created by the owners, we were able to spend a truly relaxing and restorative time. Enjoying their thoughtfully prepared dishes—down to the seasonings—paired with local sake and served in locally made tableware was a real luxury... The journey there, transferring between local trains and buses, also became a memorable part of our trip. We would love to visit again someday in a different season. Each villa has its own indoor bath and open-air Onsen, so even elderly guests were able to relax and enjoy it at their own pace. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The garden and reflecting pool were also beautifully maintained and a pleasure to look at. The meals were excellent in both ingredients and preparation, and everything was delicious. The dashi was rich in flavor, and we were truly impressed by the chef’s careful work. The staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles and kindly assisted our elderly guest with luggage, meal service, and more. We felt refreshed both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

We stayed here last year and had such a wonderful time that we definitely wanted to come back. This year, we chose our travel destination mainly because we wanted to stay at this Accommodation again, and it did not disappoint. Our Room had an indoor bath, but the open-air bath was so relaxing that we never even found time to use the indoor one (laughs). This is truly an Accommodation we want to return to again. A beautiful Japanese-modern building and an impressive, spacious interior. Japanese aesthetics can be felt throughout, and it was a wonderfully comfortable stay—“spacious, yet instantly relaxing.” The welcome service at CAFE SKY LIBRARY was excellent, and we were truly impressed by the staff’s understated hospitality. The large public bath and sauna were also very comfortable, allowing us to unwind and recover from travel fatigue. Getting to the airport was smoother than expected thanks to the moving walkways. We were even able to enjoy shopping at the airport early the next morning. When traveling in Hokkaido, this is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at as our final stop.

This was our second stay. We had such a wonderful time last time that I came again with my mother, who loves art. She was delighted by the tower’s distinctive steel framework running through the Room and the many artworks throughout the Hotel. Thank you to all the staff for kindly explaining everything as she asked questions. At night, Accommodation guests only can take an elevator through a hidden door up to the observation deck. The special touch made our hearts race. Spending time looking out over the quiet city at night felt truly luxurious, and I was able to give my mother a moment that only a Hotel stay can offer. Breakfast featured a wide variety of dishes made with local ingredients, and both my mother and I were very satisfied. Afterward, we were even served special petit fours, and we fully enjoyed tea time as well. This time, my mother and I took a relaxing stroll around Sakae on this one-night, two-day mini trip with staying at this Hotel as our main purpose. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. We are grateful for everyone’s thoughtful hospitality. We’ll be back again.

Using aromatic vegetables, fish, and meat from the Kyoto area, each ingredient is prepared and served with the utmost care to preserve its natural fragrance, flavor, and texture in the best possible way. The chef’s evolving craft was truly impressive. I was also moved by the sommelier’s sincere dedication to wine. The cuisine feels perfectly suited to this one-of-a-kind Meiji-era mansion dining experience in Japan.
