The three of us—my spouse, my sister, and I—had a relaxing stay. The Room was clean, and the Onsen was at a comfortable temperature, so we enjoyed soaking many times while looking out at the sea. The meals were all delicious, and even the grilled fish at breakfast was prepared in an easy-to-eat way. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and all three of us finished everything. Thank you very much.

Relax in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, soak your feet in the footbath while drinking milk, and take your time admiring the stunning view through the large window from the Room. It was truly wonderful. The food was excellent; every dish was prepared with care by the head chef, and even the tableware was beautiful. The course meal came in just the right portions, and everything tasted great. The breakfast buffet was also all handmade with rich, thoughtful flavors. The Onsen was clean and well maintained, and I went in many times. The staff service was outstanding as well. Their spirit of hospitality showed even in the smallest details, and the service was excellent. My companion was very satisfied too. I felt it’s a Hotel where adults can relax and enjoy a luxurious stay. The 4.6-star rating wasn’t a lie. Unfortunately we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji this time, so I’ll visit again. It was also amazing to lie down and watch the clouds move through a picture-frame-like window. It really is a great Hotel.

Each Room comes with a private open-air bath, and meals can be served in the Room as well, so we were able to relax without worrying about others. What made us happiest was how well the Accommodation is set up for dogs! In addition to a private dog run just for our Room, there is an indoor dog run on-site, and outside the Accommodation there are two more dog runs—one with wood chips and one with grass—making four in total. We could choose where to play depending on our mood and the weather. The meals were also delicious, making great use of Izu’s fish, meat, and vegetables. There was an excellent selection of menu items for our dog as well, and they finished everything in no time. All of the staff were very dog-friendly, and it really showed how much they care about dogs. It became a wonderful memory where we could truly relax together with our dog. Thank you very much.

We truly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, savoring delicious dishes made with local ingredients. The in-room bath was a luxurious free-flowing Onsen, available anytime for a relaxing soak. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and our whole family was very satisfied with choosing this Accommodation.

We were worried that the earthquake might have caused damage, but when we asked in advance, we were told there was no particular impact and that we could feel at ease, so we decided to visit. The area around Aso was cooler than Kumamoto City and very comfortable. For the open-air bath in the Room, they showed us how to fill it with Onsen water when showing us around, and since it is available 24 hours a day, we were able to enjoy a relaxing soak at night and again in the morning. This time we chose a Plan with breakfast only, but there were many small dishes beautifully arranged and pleasing to the eye, and the rice cooked in a pot was also very delicious. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again for a relaxing stay.

The Facility and service were excellent, and it’s a place where I’d like to stay one more night or visit again. This is a recommended Accommodation. Unfortunately, there were two issues: 1. The shower in Room 106 had almost no water pressure, so I couldn’t wash my hair. I went somewhere else in the middle of the night to wash my hair. I would like enough water pressure in the Room shower to be able to wash my hair. 2. There was no lobby with staff on site at the Accommodation; if anything happened, I was told to scan a QR code and talk via smartphone. However, I could not access the system from my phone no matter how many times I tried. Even though I went there to relax, I had to struggle for a long time with setting up a smartphone system that didn’t work. Please place a telephone in the Room.

The free-flowing Onsen was wonderful. The indoor bath was a bit on the hotter side, while the open-air bath was pleasantly lukewarm, and we fully enjoyed the unique appeal of each. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. In particular, since I’m not fond of beef, I mentioned it in advance and they kindly accommodated my request. Thank you very much. Not only the meals but also everything else—including the Shuttle Service to the station—was handled with great kindness by all staff members. It was truly refreshing, and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely like to stay again.

A family trip with two families to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and my nephew’s birthday. The surprise cake at dinner made it a wonderful family memory. They also accommodated our food allergies, so we could enjoy the delicious meals with peace of mind. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality.

We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary trip. Every dish was delicious!! The in-room open-air bath was wonderful, and we were able to relax in the Japanese-Western style Room—very satisfied! They even prepared a celebratory plate at dinner, and it truly made for a happy one-night stay! Thank you very much. We were also happy that the drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary! We’d love to stay here again when we visit Hakone!

The Ryokan is impeccably clean, and everything is well cared for throughout. The cuisine shows a clear commitment to quality ingredients—beautifully presented and delicious. It’s not just a place that serves many dishes; it delivers the satisfaction of dining at a proper kappo restaurant. After staying at other Accommodations in the same price range, you truly realize how outstanding this Ryokan is. Once you stay here, you’ll want to come back. It’s a bit far, but more than worth it—an exceptional Ryokan.

The view from the Room was wonderful—we were moved to be able to take in the sea, mountains, and sunrise all at once, accompanied by birdsong. During our stay, the Hotel surprised us with a birthday cake, and we were truly touched by their thoughtful gesture. Inside the property, we enjoyed strolling through the historic Kasuien and the beautifully maintained gardens, spending a relaxing time while feeling its long history and charm. Throughout the Hotel, you can sense the dignity and elegance that comes from being loved by many notable figures and historical personalities. For dinner, at my son’s request we had teppanyaki; not only was the food excellent, but the attentive hospitality made it a memorable experience. The spacious, comfortable Room and the soothing Onsen were also wonderful, allowing us to unwind and forget about everyday life. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, it became an irreplaceable birthday. We sincerely appreciate everything. We would love to stay again when we visit Kyoto.

My first long-awaited trip to Hagi, and this Hotel stands in a quiet town. Nothing flashy—simply the best in the most classic way. Every dish was delicious, and all the staff were kind and charming; my spouse and I were truly impressed. The bath was excellent as well. I learned about this Ryokan through a friend’s recommendation and decided to stay here. The view from the Room and the open-air bath was amazing, and that alone made me very satisfied. Both the Room and the baths were thoroughly cleaned, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The private open-air bath and dining in a private room also allowed me to relax, which was wonderful. Towels were freely available in the women’s open-air bath. These days, most Onsen or Hotels provide only a minimal towel set, but since I used the baths several times during my stay, I truly appreciated this service. The staff were kind as well, and overall I was extremely satisfied with everything. If I had to mention one small disappointment: dinner was very delicious and generously portioned, but there were several times when I couldn’t understand what was being explained about the dishes. Also, the timing of the main grilled dish felt a bit off—it was served as just meat after we had already finished both rice and all other dishes—so I wondered if that timing was intentional. It made me hope that Japan’s uniquely attentive hospitality and services will not be lost. That said, everyone’s warm service and thoughtful attention were truly excellent. At first, I felt the price was high, but after staying there, I was more than satisfied with the value. Both the Accommodation and the Room felt open and airy, and in a secluded, hideaway-like atmosphere, the staff’s warm smiles made my stay truly comfortable. The food was excellent and delicious, and the bowls and plates—beautifully chosen to match each ingredient—were also wonderful. You may get insects or leaves blowing in, but that’s only natural in such surroundings. Everything was kept very clean, so it didn’t bother me at all. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back.
