Located in the heart of the mountain Onsen area "Ryujin Onsenkyo," "Magokoro no Yado Marui" Marui Ryokan is situated about 15 km towards Shirahama from the original source of Japan's Three Beautifying Onsens, Ryujin Onsen. It is in the center of the village near the Ryujin Administrative Office, and we are grateful to celebrate our 97th anniversary this year. We are often asked, "Isn't it far from the original source?" Our Property has been operating in this location since the predecessor (the current proprietress's father) started a small inn in 1927. Over the years, we have evolved to include an Onsen bath where you can relax while enjoying the river view. We take pride in using local ingredients, offering freshly cooked rice, freshly boiled vegetables, and freshly prepared meats and fish—all served hot and delicious. Enjoy your meal in a half-buffet style. Relax and warm yourself thoroughly in the Onsen, including the "Oiwa Kakurenbo no Yu" or private baths. The entire facility features soft tatami flooring, gentle on bare feet, so there's no need to worry about tripping over slippers.

Asama no An is located adjacent to the Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida, famous for its five-story pagoda and cherry blossoms.
