The books at Umi no Library are collected through drop-off boxes placed at restaurants, guesthouses, and other locations across The whole country that resonate with our concept, creating a system where books drift in from all over Japan. In addition to Umi no Library, we aim to establish collaborative hubs in each prefecture with bookshelves for the "Drifting Library," enabling situations where a book borrowed in Kagawa can be returned at a café in Tokyo, or a book borrowed in Osaka can be returned in Hokkaido. Pick up a book that catches your eye at the library, walk through the alley leading to the sea, and read while listening to the gentle sound of the waves, forgetting the passage of time. Neko Hatago is the world's first bed space adjacent to a cat café, where you can fall asleep while watching or being watched over by cats. Relax and enjoy your time in a Japanese-style space inspired by Edo-period inns, while gazing at the cats.
