Auberge Homachi Mikuni Minato has been selected for “The 30 Collection,” which honors outstanding experiences across Japan, as part of the tourism awards “Forbes JAPAN Destinations of the Year 2026,” hosted by the global business magazine Forbes JAPAN. Mikuni Minato is a historic port town mentioned in the Shoku Nihongi in 778. During the Edo period, it flourished as a port of call for Kitamaebune trading ships traveling between Osaka and Hokkaido.
