A Tyrolean-style pension nestled in the forest of the pension village adjacent to Madarao Kogen Ski Resort. Known for the warm hospitality of its kind female owner and the highly praised homemade dishes made with seasonal local ingredients. Popular among seniors and families, it also attracts many international guests, creating a cosmopolitan atmosphere. It serves as the office for "Madarao Jazz," and jazz concerts are held at the pension in November and March. The area is bustling with skiers and hikers exploring the Shinetsu Trail.
Just a little over a one-minute walk to the Metasequoia Avenue, this is the closest Property to the site. Surrounded by a magnificent orchard and rich natural environment, we warmly welcome all our guests. Upon entering the entrance, you will find a spacious atrium lobby lounge and a bright dining Room. In the dining Room, which serves as the dining area, you can enjoy creative Japanese-Western fusion cuisine with chopsticks, paired with delicious wine and local sake for dinner. For breakfast, savor an American breakfast featuring freshly baked bread! On the second floor, there is a variety of Rooms, including twin Rooms, three-bed Rooms, 12-tatami mat Japanese-style Rooms, and Japanese-Western style Rooms. From the windows of every Room, you can enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery of Oku-Biwako. Additionally, apart from the unit baths in each Room, there is a large "private family bath" where the natural water drawn from 50 meters underground gently soothes your tired body.

The main dog run of the pension is the size of a tennis court, ideal for playing ball. Part of it is covered with artificial turf and has a roof, ensuring safety even in rainy weather. The villa area, with low humidity, allows for enjoyable walks with your dog through green tunnels even in midsummer, accessible by wheelchair. Enjoy meals featuring fresh vegetables from local farmers and the on-site garden.
