You can spend the entire day enjoying Maruki Winery, one of Japan’s oldest wineries, while taking in a beautiful Japanese garden. For dinner, we had a tea kaiseki meal—one unforgettable moment after another. The Room also features a private Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water rich in sulfur minerals. I learned what true adult relaxation feels like: unhurried, luxurious, and blissful. This is truly the best Accommodation. Next time, I’ll book a Multiple Night Stay.

This was my first trip to Tohoku, and I stayed here. In recent years I hadn’t found an Accommodation that truly satisfied me, but this one exceeded my expectations in every way—hospitality, meals, and the Room. I took a taxi from the nearest station, and every driver said, “Everyone says there’s nothing to complain about!” They were absolutely right. It’s well worth the price—you won’t regret staying here. For those making a Reservation, I strongly recommend choosing a Plan that includes dinner! The portions are generous, and everything is delicious, including fresh seafood and mountain vegetables. Unfortunately it rained during our stay, but we were able to relax while listening to the rain and looking out over Matsushima. We’ll definitely return to see Matsushima in another season!

I stay here every time I visit Sendai. It has great access from the station and is convenient for the Sendai Morning Market and nearby restaurants. The Facility and Room are clean and comfortable. A small downside is that the large public bath is only available from 4:00 PM. Also, having a coin laundry inside the bath area is convenient, but during a Multiple Night Stay you can only use it when the bath area is not crowded (there are only two washing machines, so they may be unavailable at night). It would also be helpful if the in-room TV showed coin laundry and bath availability. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Overall, it was a compact Accommodation, but perhaps because it is new, it was very clean and comfortable. Although it is a new Facility, the in-room TV was not a smart TV, so I’m deducting one star; however, the breakfast was delicious, and Nono is wonderful as always.

We stayed as a family of four. Breakfast was very delicious, and the beef tongue in particular was excellent. The staff at the breakfast venue were also very friendly.

This was my first trip to Sendai, and I also visited the Matsushima area for the first time. From the hospitality to how well-stocked the amenities were, everything exceeded my expectations, and the view from the room was wonderful. The meals were also very delicious. I did notice a few small flies in my room on the 4th floor, but other than that I was satisfied.

I stay here every year on my business trips to Sendai. With direct access from the station, I feel safe even when checking in at night. The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. I felt refreshed with no lingering fatigue from the first day, so I was able to stay active on the second day as well. I look forward to staying again next time.

It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.

The spacious, comfortable lobby and the nearby parking lot made parking very convenient. The Room was clean, with a wide range of yukata sizes available, and I really enjoyed the view from the window. Dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, including sushi and rice balls made by the chefs, steak, and more. Everything was delicious, and there was also an excellent selection of desserts.

I stayed in the Women-Only Ladies’ Room (No Meals Included). I visit Sendai a few times a year with an overnight stay, but this was my first time using this Hotel. What made me choose it among many Hotels was the women-only floor with security access and the separate bathroom. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The loungewear was a two-piece set, and the amenities were high-quality—something you’d expect from a ladies’ room—which really lifted my mood. There is also a water dispenser on each floor, so it’s helpful that there’s no need to buy bottled water. The front desk staff were also very pleasant. I initially thought it might be a bit far from the station, but it turned out to be no problem at all. Next time, I’d like to try the breakfast.

The baths are among the best of any Accommodation I’ve visited. Security is solid, so you can feel at ease. The complimentary ice cream after a bath is a nice touch. Breakfast is delicious across the board, and it’s easy to overeat. The seafood rice bowl is so good you’d be satisfied even if you had it for lunch. This is a strong candidate to become my regular go-to Accommodation.

The room was clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast was excellent. I was surprised to see beef tongue served for breakfast. Although I usually don't eat much breakfast, I had seconds of both rice and beef tongue. The beef curry was also delicious. If I visit Shiroishi again, I would definitely like to stay here again. I’m visiting again because when I stayed here last year on a scorching 36°C day in Sendai, I was truly moved by this oasis-like space I finally arrived at. This time, Sendai—the City of Trees—was a cool 26°C. The Hotel still had that wonderful fragrance that made me want to take a deep breath, and I was so happy to be able to return. The Room was clean, and the bath area—with a shampoo bar and an open-air bath—was incredibly soothing after work. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of options; the pleasantly chewy wakame seaweed in the miso soup, sasa-kamaboko fish cake, Sendai-fu wheat gluten, and zunda tiramisu were all delicious—I felt so happy. Thank you for the staff’s hard work and warm hospitality. If I have another chance to visit Sendai, I would love to stay here again.

Conveniently located near the station with few steps or level changes on the way to the Hotel, making it ideal for travel; once you know the route, it’s less than a 5-minute walk from the Shinkansen exit. I stayed for only one night, but every staff member was very courteous and provided warm, hospitable service. Even though there were many other guests at check-in, I was guided smoothly without having to wait. I also really appreciated being able to store my luggage during sightseeing. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

I stayed here on a business trip. It’s not far from the station, and there’s a convenience store nearby, which was very convenient.

I stayed for one night and two days. I really liked that the amenities were available in the lobby and you could choose what you wanted. In particular, there were many amenities that women will appreciate, such as two types of facial masks and hair ties. They also had foot patches for tired feet after walking around Sendai, which made my stay very comfortable. I noticed a bit of mold in the bathroom, but everything else was great. Sendai Morning Market is very close by, and it was convenient for sightseeing with easy access from the station. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I stayed in a Room at Hakubaittei. The building is old, and the in-room toilet, sink, and bath felt dated, but everything was well cleaned and felt hygienic. The light switches were unresponsive and had a delay before turning on, which was inconvenient. The Onsen baths offer a wide variety and were very satisfying. There are also many open-air baths. The changing area was clean as well. There are several entrances to the baths, but when using the entrance near the front desk, the cold-water dispenser was only located between the changing area and the bathing area. It would have been nice to have a cold-water dispenser with cups near that entrance or in the changing area. There were dispensers near other entrances. The meals weren’t anything special, but everything tasted good. The service was also good. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety and was delicious, with shabu-shabu, tuna sashimi, and kamameshi even in the morning. I chose this Accommodation for the baths and food, so it was absolutely the right choice! I’d like to stay again.

The staff were kind and attentive, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay.

The location was excellent (close to Sendai Station, the shopping arcade, and especially the downtown area), the price was reasonable, and I was very satisfied with the breakfast buffet. In addition, the Hotel front desk staff were helpful, and even when there were many cars in use, parking was available at the affiliated parking lot (Dai-Sendai Parking), which was also very close and convenient. I would like to stay here again next time I visit Sendai City.

I have stayed here several times, and the location is convenient and easy to access. This time, I was upgraded from a standard single room to a ladies’ double room, which made my stay even more comfortable. I recommend this Hotel in Sendai to anyone.
