We stayed here as a couple to celebrate a birthday. From the meals and baths to the Room amenities and Shuttle Service, everything was filled with hospitality, and they were flexible in accommodating our requests, making our stay truly enjoyable and happy. Some Accommodations offer inclusive bar drinks or well-equipped Rooms, but this place is on another level—we were able to enjoy an extraordinary sense of luxury. We would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much!

The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

This Room is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a trip with a sense of history and charm. The entire Room was exceptionally clean—so much so that it made me wish I could live in a home like this. It was also a real highlight to see how everyone who assisted us carefully and lovingly conveyed the concept of this Accommodation. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, with dishes that reflected local and traditional flavors, leaving both my stomach and heart happy from the morning. Not only is the Accommodation itself wonderful, but I also hope you’ll take in the atmosphere around it as well. Every shop and street has its own charm, and you can truly feel the kindness of the people and the pleasant air. It became a place I genuinely want to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful trip where we could stay at a great Accommodation and meet such lovely people. I won’t forget this connection.

I caused you a great deal of trouble, but everyone spoke to me so kindly that it truly helped me. The price is almost too low! The in-room lotion was my favorite brand, there were two sinks, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was a shame there was no view from the open-air bath, but I found myself hoping—thinking from the owner’s perspective—that your service will continue just as it is so you won’t lose guests until the construction is finished. Even without a view from the window, this is a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you very much for everything.

A trip to Nara in the heat. But staying at this wonderful Accommodation helped me recover from the fatigue. I had written a birthday message for my friend, and they even surprised us by celebrating at breakfast. All of the staff were kind. This has become one of the Accommodations I’d like to stay at again.

My spouse and I stayed on June 19. The building was old, but it was well maintained, and the courtyard after the rain in the morning was lovely. All of the meals were delicious, and we both finished everything. The staff were also very pleasant. We were able to visit Amanohashidate, which we had wanted to see for a long time, and fully enjoy Kyoto by the Sea. Thank you very much.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been looking for an Accommodation that doesn’t serve meals buffet-style, and we chose Ayameya Ryokan based on its great Reviews. Throughout the property—not only the Room, but also the baths, changing area, and toilets—everything felt impeccably clean. The meals were full of thoughtful touches, such as a creatively arranged chawanmushi and tempura enjoyed with miso. It was quite a generous amount, but it was so delicious that we finished everything. The breakfast rice porridge was also a welcome treat. The Onsen had soft, gentle water, and I was able to soak slowly as if it were a private bath without running into other guests. (The open-air bath felt a little lukewarm for me.) I’d been staying mostly at large Hotels lately, so this time I truly experienced how wonderful a Ryokan can be thanks to the cheerful proprietress and the attentive hospitality of all the staff. It became an unforgettable Onsen trip—simply the best! To the proprietress: please take good care of yourself, and I hope you also get chances to relax and be pampered from time to time.

This was my first time staying here. At first, I wasn’t sure about a standalone house in the mountains, but once I arrived, it far exceeded my expectations. The Room was more spacious than I imagined, the Onsen was free-flowing with a gentle quality to the water, and above all, the meals were not only delicious but also very generous. This Accommodation offers something truly special that you won’t find elsewhere. As someone who loves traveling, it’s an Accommodation I genuinely want to recommend to others from the bottom of my heart.

While waiting for the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, they kindly offered cold drinks and showed thoughtful care in many ways, providing truly attentive hospitality. The meals were delicious, and the tableware was stylish—both the taste and presentation were very satisfying.

We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. I stayed here after relatives in Shonai recommended it as an Accommodation with excellent food, and it exceeded my expectations. From appetizers to dessert, everything was carefully prepared—making the most of the ingredients with creative touches—and the portions were generous. Every dish was delicious, and I left completely satisfied. Breakfast was just as impressive as dinner, with a wide variety of items and great flavor. After the wonderful meal, it was also nice to relax in the Onsen bath in my Room. The staff’s bright smiles were another highlight. I’d love to come back to enjoy seasonal dishes at a different time of year, and also explore the Onsen town and try visiting private baths at other facilities.

The Onsen on the 11th floor was great, with a sauna and an open-air bath that felt wonderfully spacious!

Although we visited during poor weather due to a typhoon, we had a highly satisfying stay—not only with the Facility, but also with the Onsen and the cuisine. In recent times, as service styles have been changing across many Accommodations, we felt that this Accommodation is also committed to staff development through the attentive service we received. Hygiene was exceptionally well maintained, and even someone as particular as I am could stay with peace of mind. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we will definitely choose this Accommodation.

How many places are there where a feudal lord’s residence still remains at the very heart of the town even today? Being able to stay as a guest in such an estate, and to take in the buildings and gardens—things that would have been impossible to see 100 years ago—to your heart’s content, made for a fascinatingly luxurious time where you can feel history and changing eras up close. It was an Accommodation experience unlike anything I had ever had before. The guest building was new and spotless, with drinks and amenities well provided, making it very comfortable to stay.

My first trip to Tottori. I was exhausted after the scorching heat at the Tottori Sand Dunes, but I was soothed by the Onsen, a wonderful dinner, and hospitality-filled service. The open-air bath in our detached Room was very spacious, and I enjoyed it many times. I especially loved the shiso pickled scallions served at dinner and bought some at the shop. I was surprised to find such a wonderful Onsen Accommodation so close to the station. I’d love to visit again.

This was my first return in about a year. I stayed for two nights and three days, and it was still a great Hotel. The staff’s service was excellent as well. In particular, I was impressed by the attentiveness of the restaurant staff at breakfast. They worked efficiently, replenishing dishes and clearing used plates promptly. Because they were constantly checking the food, there was no concern—common at other Hotels—that fewer items would be available if you went later. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

This was a return visit. I stayed here to visit my family’s grave and Koryu Shrine. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was truly pleasant. The meals were delicious both to the eye and the palate. Breakfast included a partial buffet, and everything was always kept beautifully arranged. The bath and changing area were consistently clean and well maintained, which impressed me with how attentive the staff are. This is an Accommodation that makes you want to stay again!

Everything was exceptional from pick-up to send-off. I stayed here after a weekend trek, and upon arrival we were welcomed with a welcome drink, along with a clear and courteous explanation of the Accommodation—brief yet thorough at all the key points. As for dinner, to put it in gourmet terms: “a blissful dining experience woven from artfully presented plates and a refined atmosphere.” In my own words: the ambiance was wonderful, everything was delicious, and I couldn’t wait to see what would come next! The private bath we used after the meal was also perfect—an open-air bath of just the right size, stocked with popular in-bath amenities that were gentle on the skin—so I could truly relax. The futon was very comfortable, and breakfast was healthy and vegetable-focused with delicious rice; the after-meal coffee in the lounge was excellent as well. Thank you for seeing us off so pleasantly at the end. We’ll be back! It really was an amazing weekend.

I made a Reservation because it’s conveniently located near the station and has a large public bath. Due to JR service suspensions, I had to check out suddenly, but the staff handled everything smoothly. I was in such a rush that I left something behind, and they responded kindly and carefully. It was my first time trying a buffet-style breakfast, so I’m sorry I couldn’t make use of it. I’d like to stay again.

This was my first stay here. The staff’s hospitality and attentiveness, the well-kept garden, the delicious meals, the atmosphere of the open-air bath, and even the adorable cats made it truly special. Everything was outstanding. I would love to visit again.
