"The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Bekkan" has begun its journey with the aim of becoming a Hotel that is cherished for generations. Just as the Shūraku-en, a nationally designated scenic spot where the lords of the Tsuyama domain once entertained their guests in a villa garden, this Hotel aspires to be a welcoming retreat for esteemed guests, a comfortable villa where locals gather and wish to visit repeatedly, and a stage where the finest local products from Tsuyama and Okayama Prefecture shine brightly.On the eighth floor of the Hotel, the Onsen large public bath with an open-air bath offers the renowned "Dodo Onsen," a famous hot spring of Tsuyama long celebrated for its skin-beautifying properties. Guests can enjoy a relaxing soak while taking in the view of the Tsuyama Castle ruins in Tsuruyama Park. Maruto Soy Sauce, the oldest soy sauce brewery in Nara Prefecture, has been reborn as a soy sauce brewery where you can stay overnight.Founded in 1689, Maruto Soy Sauce was once a purveyor to the Imperial Household and even hosted members of the Imperial Family. However, after World War II, the brewery was forced to close due to the inability to procure satisfactory raw materials.
