Our accommodation, formerly known as Fukujyuin, has welcomed visitors to Togakushi in Nagano Prefecture as a traditional lodging for shrine pilgrims. The historic main building and the garden that reflects the changing seasons continue to offer a serene space passed down through generations. While we may not have the vastness or modernity of large hotels or resort facilities, we are dedicated to preserving this historic building within the sacred grounds of Togakushi and providing our guests with a relaxing space and time.

At a property with over a century of history, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine and handmade soba noodles made with seasonal ingredients from local Shinshu in a serene space adorned with folk art furniture. The 15 Japanese-style rooms offer a warm wooden ambiance, and the beauty-enhancing water baths are available 24 hours. Breakfast includes a rich homemade buffet featuring freshly picked vegetables, organic eggs, and morning curry.

Meals feature colorful kaiseki cuisine centered on seasonal ingredients from Shinshu, with Shinshu brand beef raised on apples as the main dish.

The Yumoto Saito Ryokan, with a history of 284 years, is a charming property blending the Shirahone Onsen and the traditional ambiance of Shinshu. The onsen, sourced from its own spring since the Kamakura period, is milky white and is said to be effective for gastrointestinal ailments. All 53 guest rooms are named after notable novelists and poets, offering a serene space for relaxation. Additionally, you can savor Japanese seasonal course meals featuring the bounty of Shinshu's mountains and rivers.

Located just a 7-minute drive from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple, and about a 10-minute walk from the Nagano Prefectural Office, our property offers excellent accessibility. Enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons while soaking in our 22-meter-long open-air Onsen with 100% natural brown hot spring water flowing directly from the source. The indoor bath features a different type of spring water with no color and a sulfur scent for variety. Our rooms with private panoramic baths and private Onsen facilities also use the same 100% natural brown hot spring water as our large public baths, making them perfect for those seeking privacy or families looking to relax together. In April 2024, we will open a Finnish-style high-temperature sauna for an enhanced wellness experience. For dinner, savor Shinshu cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients served in your room at your leisure. Yuyado Izumiya Zenbe has been welcoming guests with its unchanging hot spring water since its establishment. Utsukushigahara Onsen, which flourished as the private bath of successive Matsumoto Castle lords after the Sengoku period, features a mildly alkaline simple spring with gentle and smooth water quality. In addition to separate indoor baths for men and women, you can enjoy three types of private baths. For dinner, indulge in "selectable dishes" made from ingredients nurtured in Shinshu and savor Shinshu soba noodles.

In June 2024, a new guest room has been introduced: the "Onsen Premium Room." Enjoy an exclusive in-room dinner featuring A5-grade Shinshu Premium Beef steak as the main dish. Relax and indulge in the 100% natural flowing "Bijin no Yu" hot spring to your heart's content.
