We stayed in a detached maisonette in the annex. The Room was very clean and stylish, and the amenities and bath were excellent. Having two toilets was very convenient! We also used the pool, but perhaps because it wasn’t very crowded, the changing room and toilets are shared by both men and women, so we felt we needed to be mindful about taking turns. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes and was delicious. Mornings get busy, and since check-out is at 10:00, we wished it could be 11:00 at least for the detached Rooms. Overall, we were very satisfied and would like to stay again.

My father loved this Accommodation so much during our previous stay that we came back again. Everyone on the staff was so thoughtful, and the food in particular was delicious. We could really feel your hospitality. Even the tableware became part of our conversation, and my father’s favorite—pike conger—was especially tasty. Even after we got home, he kept saying, “It was delicious.” The portions were generous, so it may have been a bit too much for seniors. I felt bad leaving some behind. At night, I soaked in the ceramic tub and relaxed while gazing at the stars—it was truly healing time. We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. It was a very spacious Ryokan, and just walking around the building felt exciting. Dinner and breakfast were especially wonderful! The portions were generous, every dish was delicious, and we were very satisfied. For the children’s meals, they had kid-friendly options like hamburg steak and omurice, and our child ate happily—it was great to see how much they enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of choices, and the freshly made onigiri rice balls that the chef shaped one by one on the spot were especially delicious! There were two types of baths as well, and we enjoyed both. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was an unpleasant fishy odor in one area of the open-air bath. If that could be improved, it would be even more comfortable to use. Other than that, considering the price, it was excellent value for money, and the staff were polite and pleasant throughout. Our whole family had a great time overall, and we’re very satisfied. We’d love to stay again if we have another chance!

Because we decided on our trip to Lake Toya at the last minute, I didn’t think we would be able to make a Reservation at a good Hotel. Since May is one of the peak seasons for travel in Japan, I wasn’t expecting much. But after staying there, the Hotel quality exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the dinner buffet. There was an incredible variety of dishes, and many were far better than I anticipated. I ate too much and ended up walking outside for hours afterward to feel better (laugh). Breakfast was more standard compared with dinner, but still very satisfying. As for the Onsen, “Hoshi no Yu” was truly outstanding—I highly recommend trying it at least once. Waking up early to use it was a bit tough, but it was absolutely worth it. The feeling of seeing Mt. Yotei from the Onsen in the morning is hard to put into words. It was truly spectacular.

The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

This was my first stay here. I was worried about the rain, but it stayed cloudy, so we managed. The scenic-view bath was incredibly relaxing—simply the best. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed plenty of tasty fish. We chose the light-meal course, but it was still more than enough. I made a Reservation because the Accommodation offered an Italian dinner, a sand bath, and spacious Rooms with great views. The Room was large, had a wonderful view, and felt very clean. I also appreciated that the drinks in the refrigerator were free, including beer. There was a sand bath within the Facility, as well as a large public bath, plus one more Onsen area with indoor baths only. Inside the building there was so much to see—such as a shochu dojo, artworks, and exhibits about notable historical figures from Kagoshima—that we didn’t have enough time to take it all in. The garden was also vast and perfect for a walk. The Italian dinner was at a restaurant inside Denshokan; both the atmosphere and the food were excellent. Above all, every staff member was wonderful—this was truly an outstanding Accommodation. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Ibusuki. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The view from the window of the renovated Room is like a painting. We thoroughly enjoyed the in-room bath in complete privacy.
