Our accommodation is a traditional inn located in a quiet countryside, offering a distinct atmosphere from the modern facilities near Kyoto Station. We cherish the unpretentious charm of a rural inn. Based on self-service, you can relax and unwind in our onsen while surrounded by the beautiful starry skies and nature of Ohara. Our miso hot pot, which we started 40 years ago, has been loved ever since and has become a local specialty in Ohara. As the birthplace of miso hot pot, our accommodation offers flavors that change daily, allowing you to experience something new every time you visit.

From Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line), it is a 2 km drive on paved roads within the villa area, and 5 km from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway/Pilatus Tateshina Snow Resort. The road from Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line) to the pension is fully paved, so we recommend arriving by car. We regret to inform you that Shuttle Service is not available. (Please ensure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires or tire chains during the period from December to March.) Situated on the slopes of Kita-Yatsugatake in the Tateshina Highlands, at an altitude of 1700m within the Pilatus Hill villa area, the maximum temperature rarely exceeds 20°C even in midsummer, with morning and evening temperatures ranging from 8°C to 12°C.As a general rule, we accommodate adults only, with a maximum capacity of 8 guests, which is one-third of our full capacity. We strive to create a space where you can enjoy leisurely conversations with your loved ones.
