We had an incredibly fulfilling stay. From the interior and exterior design to the furniture, decor, fixtures, amenities, lawn, and open grounds, this was a wonderfully comfortable Facility where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The interior is unified in a calm design, with very high ceilings that create an airy sense of openness, allowing us to fully enjoy a special time away from everyday life. The vanity area and bathroom were especially spacious and impressive—made with high-quality materials and kept impeccably clean down to every corner. The amenities also felt thoughtfully chosen; for example, Aesop hand soap was provided at the sink. All essential cookware and appliances were available, so we could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. We even enjoyed handheld fireworks in the garden. The views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps were also stunning—scenery you could gaze at for hours without noticing time pass. Most memorable of all were the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge bath. The wood-fired sauna was exceptional—enjoying it while feeling the flicker of flames, hearing the crackle of burning logs, and breathing in the scent of wood was truly special. Unlike an electric heater, it had a gentle heat that warmed us slowly from deep within and helped us relax completely. A large amount of sauna stones were thoroughly heated, so we could also enjoy pleasant steam from löyly. It’s an ideal setup that I would highly recommend even to dedicated sauna lovers. They added ice to the cold plunge bath multiple times for us, so we could cool down properly. Paired with the wood-fired sauna, it was perfect—we fully enjoyed every session. In the evening we enjoyed a BBQ, and we really appreciated that the owner prepared everything—from lighting the fire to setting everything up. On top of that, we received a generous gift of fresh vegetables grown by his wife. They were all rare varieties you don’t often see day-to-day, and you could feel careful attention not only in each vegetable but also in their labels and packaging. We tried them right away at our BBQ—especially the eggplant, which was unbelievably tender and delicious. Beyond how wonderful both the Facility itself and its location are, we were truly moved by the owners’ thoughtful hospitality as well. In this extraordinary setting—with beautiful views, a wood-fired sauna experience like no other،and BBQ—we spent a luxurious yet deeply comfortable time here. We would love to stay again. At IKYU, it was categorized as casual, but we enjoyed a luxurious Onsen experience that felt like staying at a private villa. The Room had a spacious washroom, and the toilet being separate was also convenient. The heater in the Room was turned on in advance, so we stayed warm without needing to use the air conditioner. Various thoughtful touches were noticeable throughout, and I heard that adjustments are made regularly. It had such a pleasant atmosphere that made us wish to stay longer. Here are some points of concern: It would be helpful if spare foot mats were provided for the private bath so they can be replaced after use. The abundance of wash towels was very convenient. A single fresh flower in the Room would add charm since there were flowers in the dining area. During meal service, providing more details about local ingredients or cooking methods would be appreciated by travelers—it may require extra effort from staff but makes for enjoyable conversations while savoring meals. Having a menu list would also enhance the dining experience further.

Our family of four stayed for two nights. The Room, service, and staff hospitality were all outstanding. The location was convenient for getting anywhere, and while we had checked the Room on the website beforehand, it was even nicer than we imagined. It was spacious enough for four of us to stay comfortably. The staff were kind, and above all, the meals were excellent. We had breakfast twice and dinner once; each dish used plenty of local ingredients and was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We would love to stay here again when we visit Kanazawa.

This was my second stay. All of the staff were very welcoming and made me feel relaxed. Of course, the private open-air Onsen bath in the Room with free-flowing hot spring water was also outstanding. The meals were well balanced, perfectly suited to my taste, and truly delicious. I would love to stay again.

We had a very comfortable stay. The building has a stylish Japanese-modern design, and the food was delicious. The staff who welcomed us were very kind, shared various stories with us, and were friendly and reassuring. The staff assigned to our Room were also very kind. If I had to mention one thing, I wish the view from the bath in the Room had been better.

We truly felt your wonderful service and hospitality throughout our stay. The location, the meals, the baths, and all of the staff were genuinely excellent. You even prepared kaiseki cuisine for our 9-year-old son and accommodated a change to our breakfast time. Both the dinner kaiseki and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and it was clear how much care and effort went into them.

It was the best stay. The hospitality was better than any Hotel I have stayed at, and the staff were truly wonderful. We enjoyed hearing various stories during the Shuttle Service ride. We were completely satisfied with everything—the Room, amenities, and minibar. The view from the Room was absolutely breathtaking, and we were able to spend a truly happy day. Of course, the food was also very satisfying. The main dishes—venison and sweetfish—were incredibly delicious and made us want to come back again.

I made a Reservation because I wanted to stay at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo again after a long time, and it happened to be my birthday month. Although I hadn’t mentioned anything, the restaurant where I booked lunch added a “Happy Birthday” message on the plate, and at check-out I received a birthday card. The card even included messages from the staff. I felt that this kind of thoughtful attention is exactly what makes Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo so comfortable. Relaxing in a Room with a great view, strolling through the garden to enjoy the sea-of-clouds display, and ending the night with a quiet drink at the bar—this is the perfect Hotel when you want to recharge. I would love to visit again.

We stayed in Room 401 with an open-air bath. The deep, expansive views, delicious food, and Onsen were all wonderful, but above all, we were most impressed by the warmth and kindness of the staff. Even among Accommodations in the same price range, many do not see guests off, so we truly appreciated it. It made us want to come back even more. Thank you very much.

Not only were the Facility, amenities, cuisine, and location excellent, but above all, the staff’s attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and care were outstanding—my husband and I were impressed again and again. During meals, they noticed even our smallest movements and responded immediately. My favorite part was the corner where guests can freely read books. Cold barley tea was neatly prepared as well, and while enjoying the beautiful view outside, I was able to spend a quiet, unhurried time as if time had stopped. It was a Ryokan we were completely satisfied with. We will definitely come again!

From the warm welcome to the heartfelt send-off, we were truly satisfied with the hospitality. With the carefully designed interior and a beautiful garden view, we could freely enjoy a variety of delicious Ureshino cold teas, which helped us forget the heat. Dinner was delicately prepared with deep flavors and was beautiful to look at; even my mother, who has visited Onsen all over The whole country, was deeply moved. The bath in our Room was also a continuously flowing Onsen, and it felt wonderful. All of the staff were genuinely kind, and their smiles were soothing as well.

This was my first time visiting Amanohashidate, and thanks to all the staff, I had a truly wonderful stay. The Room—including the semi-open-air bath, comfortable changing area, spacious Japanese-style room, living area, and bedroom—was spotless and could not have been better. Everyone on the staff was kind and approachable. The meals were also excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room with an ocean view, where we could relax and enjoy the sunset and evening atmosphere, as well as the sunrise in the morning. Every dish was carefully prepared, with gentle seasoning that we really appreciated. If there is one point for improvement, it would be that the bath water temperature felt a bit lukewarm. For the open-air bath in the Room, it would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature. If I simply missed an operation panel, I apologize. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. With its expansive grounds, tranquil atmosphere, seemingly oversized guest rooms, and dedicated attendants, this is a top-tier Japanese-style Ryokan. While it did feel a bit dated in places—such as not having enough power outlets by the bed—we were very satisfied with our stay. It was disappointing that the private family bath (Nishi-no-Yu) was closed due to reduced hot spring water volume depending on the season.

This was a wonderful guest Room worthy of the “Special Suite Annex.” In particular, the Japanese-style Room facing Lake Shinji was a corner Room with a small Japanese garden, and we were able to relax while sitting on the veranda. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t go out onto the terrace due to the rain, but we were able to take our time soaking in the Onsen in the in-Room scenic-view bath while looking out over Lake Shinji. Each dish was excellent, and the sea bream rice at breakfast was outstanding.

Although I live in Osaka, I stayed at Patina Osaka, which is very close to my home. Above all, the hospitality was outstanding in every aspect from check-in to check-out, and even though it was a short one-night stay, it was an extremely satisfying Hotel stay. The meals (in-room dining) and breakfast were both delicious—I was impressed the entire time. The turndown service was also meticulous, with everything kept spotless; the service was truly attentive, making it the most comfortable Hotel I have ever stayed at. It is also very pet-first, so my family and I could relax with complete peace of mind. I will definitely be back again. My heartfelt thanks to all the hoteliers at Patina Osaka. Thank you so much!

I was deeply relaxed in this luxurious space where I could feel Kyoto in every detail. The bath also had a genuine herbal soak, letting me enjoy a truly indulgent Onsen-like experience. The amenities were well stocked, and the futon and pillows were fluffy, so I slept soundly. It was a wonderful trip that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely love to stay again. We stayed here for a birthday trip, and it truly was a completely satisfying stay. Dinner was top-class in every respect—flavor, presentation, and the quality of the ingredients—and the smoked splendid alfonsino was especially outstanding. They also kindly prepared a special birthday message plate at dinner, which was a wonderful touch. The restaurant service and atmosphere were excellent as well. The next morning’s Japanese breakfast was also high quality, and the presentation using a wooden bento box felt fresh and very memorable. The Room was very spacious, and the ocean view from the second floor was breathtaking—sea and sky blending into one. Soaking in the open-air bath (Onsen) in our guest room while gazing at the moon was an indescribably happy moment. Thanks to there being no TV on purpose, we were able to enjoy a digital detox and fully immerse ourselves in nature. Our daughter loved the pool too, so I would highly recommend it for families with children. The lounge bar offered an excellent variety of drinks and alcohol, and it was convenient and appreciated that we could bring them back to our Room. We would love to stay again.

Although it was my first time trying zazen meditation, sutra copying, and morning prayers, the clear guidance helped me ease into everything smoothly. The thoughtfully prepared shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) was truly delicious and deeply moving. The Room and Facility were also clean and comfortable. I felt refreshed by the soothing atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Japan, and even now after returning home, I still feel renewed.
