The hotel boasts an excellent location, just 12 minutes by rapid train from JR Kyoto Station and a 1-minute walk from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. The interior, designed with universal design principles, offers a relaxing space, and the rooms are equipped with premium Simmons beds for a high-quality sleep experience. Additionally, we provide unique Kyoto and Arashiyama menu items such as handmade tofu and fresh folate-rich eggs from Kyoto Tanba. In the large public bath, you can enjoy views of bamboo while experiencing the tranquil Kyoto atmosphere.

The hotel, featuring "Utabiri," one of Hokkaido's largest open-air Onsen, is located along the Ishikari River, where you can enjoy seasonal landscapes and the sound of the flowing river. There are over 150 wind chimes in total, and some are available for purchase.Additionally, we offer workshops where you can create unique "Kanazawa wind chimes" with interesting washi paper textures and shapes or paint on glass to make "Kaga wind chimes." "Guest House Aoi Nakamoto" is located in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, near the Philosopher's Path. The guest house is situated along Shirakawa Street, which is relatively quiet. The nearest bus stop, "Kinrin Shako-mae," is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto. From here, you can explore almost all of Kyoto. With just one bus ride, you can visit major tourist attractions such as Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, and Nijo Castle. Additionally, you can make full use of the "Subway & Bus One-Day Pass" to enjoy extensive sightseeing. For those arriving by car, there are many coin-operated parking lots available, including "Times Philosopher's Path." We strive to support your active sightseeing, business, or studies in Kyoto.

The main building, a sukiya-style structure with 150 years of history, and the annex, built 70 years ago, offer a unique stay. The four limited Rooms available per day each have their own distinct charm. Preserving the essence of traditional Japanese architecture, the Rooms feature shoin-zukuri designs crafted with rare wood or renovated spaces such as a former storehouse. Guests can enjoy Onsen in a private cypress bath or an in-Room bath. For dinner, we offer Plans featuring shabu-shabu with the chef-selected premium pork "Miyabuton" or sukiyaki/shabu-shabu with Nara's renowned "Udabeef," served in your Room or a private dining room. For breakfast, savor the local specialty "chagayu" (tea porridge). Depending on the season, enjoy firefly viewing or river play at the private stream on the property, or have a BBQ in the garden in front of your Room. Relax in the 3,000-tsubo garden, which reflects the beauty of the four seasons, or spend a tranquil moment in the tea room.

An auberge is a restaurant equipped with a Property. Located about a 10-minute drive from Takayama Station, it is slightly away from the city center and surrounded by a grove of trees. During your stay, feel free to relax and unwind in the open lounge or terrace on the first floor, enjoying tea or spending quality time with your companions or friends. In winter, you can enjoy reading or working while being enveloped by the warmth of a wood-burning stove, spending your time as you please. For Rooms, you can choose between a twin-bedded Room and a double-bedded Room. Please note that there are no televisions in the Rooms. The surrounding area is enveloped by a quiet forest and fresh air. After eating and drinking, rest comfortably in a bed with soft, light pajamas, a down comforter, and a headboard made of Japanese cypress, known for its sleep-enhancing properties. The entire Property is non-smoking, and there are two private cypress baths available for your use. Dinner at Auberge Hida no Mori features an Italian course meal, paired with beverages that complement each dish.
