A long-established Property located on the slopes of Mount Eboshi, one of the five peaks of Mount Aso, preserving the Jigoku Onsen which first opened in 1803. Stepping into the main building, which is over 100 years old and has been renovated after the Kumamoto Earthquake, feels like entering a different world, as if traveling back in time. The Onsen features three different sources, offering 11 baths across four locations, each with unique water qualities and atmospheres. Guests can enjoy the "Suzume no Yu," a "miraculous bath" rich in sulfur content with water bubbling up from the ground, as well as the highly acidic "Moto no Yu" and "Tamago no Yu," choosing baths based on their benefits and purposes.
