I stayed here with a friend. The infinity Onsen and the food were both excellent. However, the hair dryers in the large public bath took a long time to dry my hair, so I would appreciate it if you could upgrade them to higher-quality ones when you replace them next time. Since the Facility is wonderful, it felt like a bit of a missed opportunity. I would love to stay here again when I visit Beppu. Thank you very much.

We originally planned to stay for one night, but because the weather at our next destination didn’t look promising, we decided on a last-minute Multiple Night Stay here. Before staying here, we had been at the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima, and compared with that, this felt more family-friendly and like a Hotel where families with children can truly enjoy their time. It’s a little away from the center of Dogo Onsen, but a retro-style complimentary Shuttle Service bus runs regularly, so the distance hardly bothered us. There is a footbath at the Hotel entrance that you can enjoy anytime. In the evening, there was also a festival-style event held beside the souvenir shop area, which delighted our child. The baths are divided between an indoor bath on the 3rd floor and an open-air bath on the 4th floor. Each has its own unique atmosphere, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy both. The food was delicious as well, and our whole family was very satisfied. The staff were courteous and attentive, so we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Although this Multiple Night Stay was decided at short notice, it turned out to be absolutely the right choice. When we visit Dogo Onsen as a family again, we would definitely like to stay here—without question. The Dogo Prince Hotel character “Yutama Prince” greeted us at check-in and saw us off at check-out by the entrance. We hope he keeps up the great work.

Both the Room and the large public bath were clean, and we had a comfortable stay. I also appreciated that shoes are not worn inside the Room.

The atmosphere of the main building was wonderful. Maintaining such a historic building must take a lot of effort, so I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept it was. This time we chose the newer wing where we could enjoy the Onsen in our Room, but next time I would love to stay in one of the lovely Rooms in the main building, such as Sanraku or Kumoi. Dinner and drinks were delicious, and being able to enjoy them in our Room made it feel truly luxurious. All of the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and we made great summer memories. We will definitely come again.

A Hotel where satisfaction comes from the thoughtful sum of small details—everything about the Room, bath, and breakfast makes you think, “I’m glad they had this,” rather than relying on flashy services. Comfortable pillows and loungewear, adjustable bright Room lighting, a towel rack, and a key-card power system that controls only the lights (outlets and air conditioning stay on). The large public bath is an Onsen, with partitioned washing areas for privacy. Breakfast is well balanced, with many pre-portioned small bowls and plates so there’s no hassle serving yourself. Staff in white coats even plate items for you with care. Among the many Business Hotel chains, few Hotels deliver this level of satisfaction.

On August 3, the annual Iyo-Ozu Hijikawa Fireworks Festival is held, so I made a Reservation for a Room with a close-up view of Ozu Castle. In the early evening, we finished dinner at the Hotel’s French restaurant “Le Un,” then returned to our cool, air-conditioned Room and waited excitedly for the fireworks to begin, sipping wine while admiring the illuminated Ozu Castle. Ozu is known as “Little Kyoto,” and in summer the basin heat and humidity linger even at night. But because of this terrain, the sound of the fireworks echoes off the surrounding mountains into a tremendous roar—more powerful than any fireworks I’ve ever experienced. This time I discovered a new style of Hotel created by renovating historic traditional houses scattered throughout Ozu, making it a truly meaningful summer trip.

I was looking forward to the sauna, but the detached Onsen was only open until 9:00 PM, and we finished dinner after 8:00 PM, so I gave up. However, the Onsen in the Hotel was also great. I used the detached Onsen for a morning bath, and it was amazing! The food was very satisfying! Also, the smoking area on the 3rd floor is excellent!

This Hotel is directly connected to Iyotetsu Matsuyama-shi Station, which was convenient since I planned to take an express bus the day after my stay. The Room and the large public bath were both very clean and well maintained. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which included local specialties (Uwajima-style sea bream rice and five kinds of mandarin orange juice). Since I enjoyed Onsen at Dogo Onsen Honkan, I only needed a place to stay and a good breakfast, so I was very satisfied and felt it offered great value for money.

I stopped by and stayed here on my way back to my hometown. Since I’d heard it was attached to a day-use Onsen Facility, I didn’t expect much—but I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the building’s appearance to every detail of the indoor Facilities, everything was impeccably maintained and welcoming. Above all, I was amazed by the staff’s hospitality. They anticipated guests’ needs before being asked—truly top-tier service. The Onsen uses water from the well-known Nakatsugawa Onsen source, and it felt wonderfully silky on the skin. The meal was a creative kaiseki course featuring plenty of Gifu ingredients, with outstanding taste, quality, portion size, and presentation. The room was beautifully kept, and I had a completely comfortable stay with no inconveniences at all. This is an exceptional Onsen Accommodation that I’ll definitely return to.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The staff were also extremely friendly. Taking off our shoes at the entrance helped us relax even more. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity!

I chose this Accommodation for its free-flowing Onsen, and when I actually visited, I was truly impressed to see the hot water gushing out in abundance. There are two baths, Kaki-no-Yu and Momo-no-Yu, with Kaki-no-Yu being more spacious. At the entrance to the open-air bath at Momo-no-Yu, stones are laid out underfoot, giving a stimulating sensation on the soles of your feet that felt pleasantly painful. The meals were also delicious, with some dishes clearly prepared with great care. Our Room was on the third floor, and I wished there had been an elevator—but perhaps it was good exercise instead.

The Room is new, and the bathroom area is spotless. The staff were very courteous, and above all, I was amazed by the high quality of the breakfast. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients, there were also local specialties such as chilled soup (hiyajiru), chicken nanban, and shiso tofu, plus even a trolley service—quality you wouldn’t expect from a Business Hotel. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station, but close to the downtown area; it was a wonderful Hotel where I’d definitely like to stay again when I visit Miyazaki next time.

Everyone was extremely kind and attentive. The Room was clean, and the Onsen temperature was just right, so we were very satisfied. There was a wide variety of dishes; in particular, the tempura made with mountain vegetables looked great and tasted wonderful, and the grilled sweetfish was plump and delicious. It is a quiet Onsen town, but we were able to relax and were very satisfied.

We stayed for one night on a trip to Nagano. The location was so deep in the mountains that at first we wondered if there really was an Accommodation out there, but we were relieved to arrive safely. In addition to the indoor bath, there was also an outdoor hot spring (a “wild” bath), and we used both—they were wonderfully relaxing. The Facility itself seemed old, but it was kept very clean. The meals were just the right amount, and everything was delicious. Since I’m pregnant and avoiding raw fish, the staff kindly offered to switch it—suggesting fried chicken—which was very helpful. Next time, I’d love to try the char sashimi raw. My husband also said it was the first time he’d stayed at an Accommodation where every dish was this good, so we’d like to visit again in a different season and enjoy more of the料理.

We stayed here for a family trip. There were plenty of kid-friendly facilities such as the pool, illuminations, and a playroom, and we had a great time! Our children were thrilled and kept saying, “We want to come again,” so we were very satisfied as parents. The Onsen was wonderful, and we really appreciated having unlimited towels available at both the Onsen and the pool—it made everything comfortable and stress-free. The staff were also polite and kind. The only thing that bothered us was having to wait for the elevator at times. As for dining, there were occasional lines at dinner buffet stations where chefs cook in front of you, but it wasn’t a big issue. At breakfast, since it’s split into two time slots, there were lines during our time; however, I think that’s unavoidable during busy mornings. It was a lovely Hotel that made us want to return!

Although I live in Kyoto City, I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was a truly wonderful stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially delighted by the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available with bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply perfect. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, as soon as the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I remained comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed sampling many different items little by little. Their smart service—quietly clearing empty plates each time I stood up—was also very pleasant, and before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you for such a lovely time.

I stayed here for the first time last year and had a very comfortable stay, so I chose this Accommodation again. Just like last year, I was completely satisfied. The view was different from my previous Room, and it was exciting to watch the Shinkansen arriving at and departing from Tokyo Station below. Since it was a corner Room, both the Room and the bathroom were spacious, allowing me to relax comfortably. I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

My daughter and I stayed here together. We had a luggage issue before arriving at the Hotel and ended up arriving an hour late for dinner, but you kindly accommodated us, for which we are truly grateful. For the meal, although it was already past the time when it would normally have been served as a boxed meal, you were considerate enough to serve us as planned, and I was nearly moved to tears. Every dish was not only beautifully presented but also thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and flavors that guests of any age can enjoy. The seasoning and portions were just right, and everything was truly delicious. We chose the plan with breakfast included, and it was very lavish—yet never heavy—and before we knew it, we had finished everything. The rice was especially delicious; my daughter and I even said afterward that we should have asked for seconds. The Onsen bath was very clean, and it felt so wonderful that we forgot all about the day’s troubles. We also used the open-air bath; since it was a full moon that night, we enjoyed a blissful time soaking while looking at the moon peeking through the trees. The Room was very spacious, with a Japanese-style room plus a separate bedroom with beds. It’s a layout where you can relax in comfort in the Japanese-style room and then sleep soundly in bed afterward—something guests of any age can enjoy. Above all else, every member of staff provided outstanding service. When we arrived at Kinugawa Onsen Station there were hardly any taxis available, and we were worried about whether we could reach the Hotel on foot along dark roads. You picked us up by car from the station, which helped us tremendously. You also drove us to the station again the next day—thank you so much. Thanks to you, we made our scheduled train on time. Your kindness in every respect truly moved us. There are many Ryokan out there and we have stayed at several before, but this is a Hotel where we were satisfied with everything: staff service, cuisine, baths, and Rooms. This time it was only one night because there were other places we wanted to visit as well; however, if we travel to the Nikko area again next time, we will definitely choose this Hotel. And since we had your wonderful food rather hurriedly this time due to our late arrival (laugh), next time I’d like to arrive on schedule and savor each dish more slowly. The continuously flowing Onsen bath was wonderful, and even the diluted bath had surprisingly lively bubbles—I could really feel the high quality of the spring water. It was a bit disappointing that the women’s bathing hours were somewhat short, but I made the most of the time and enjoyed the Onsen to the fullest. Breakfast is served with dishes portioned into small bowls, making it easy to choose what you like and go back for seconds. There’s a good variety, and even as guests keep coming in one after another, the staff promptly refills everything. It isn’t a flashy Hotel, but the service is polite and pleasant, and everything feels clean. Above all, this is an Accommodation I’d recommend to anyone staying primarily for the Onsen. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.
