Newly opened on June 25, 2021. A hidden, retreat-like inn quietly nestled in the Kannawa area of Beppu—one of Japan’s most famous hot spring destinations—where you can enjoy the “Hells” hot spring tour and delicious local cuisine. There are 16 guest rooms in total. With the theme “Stay in the town of Beppu,” we offer a space that brings a fresh twist to the traditional hot spring experience. Enjoy a relaxing stay at your own pace, surrounded by the soothing scent of wood.

A tranquil and relaxing space with only 16 Rooms available. The top-floor Room features a living terrace for your enjoyment. Our tea-themed sauna offers a private space reminiscent of a traditional tea room. While the typical "löyly" experience uses water, we provide tea for a unique and aromatic experience, allowing you to relax and rejuvenate surrounded by the scent of tea. The sauna is a Reservation-only, fully private facility. Guests wishing to use the sauna must make a separate Reservation. After your Room Reservation is confirmed, please contact KAMAKURA HOTEL. Additionally, at KAMAKURA BAR, we offer a Japanese-style breakfast and a selection of alcoholic beverages. As a hidden retreat of the Higashi Honganji Annex Shoseien (commonly known as Kikokutei), you can enjoy the charm and atmosphere of Kyoto. The thoughtfully designed Rooms feature Kyoto karakami, creating a Japanese-modern space adorned with the colors of the four seasons. Rooms facing the outer perimeter are equipped with large windows, offering views of the Kikokutei grounds to the east and Honganji (Kyoto Tower) to the west, expressing the seasons through plant motifs on Kyoto karakami. In 2025, we newly opened Kaminato Street Hanare (Kaminato Dori Hanare). The public bath Minato no Yu and Community Center BAR also opened, transforming into a property where guests can enjoy their stay even more.
