The staff were very courteous, and we had a wonderful trip. We were very satisfied with the guest room and the bath. We would love to stay again when we visit Kagoshima.

This was our second stay, the first in two years. Just like last time, the place was thoroughly cleaned and we had a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the Tsuruya apple juice (I believe it was a repeat-guest perk). What we love most about this Accommodation is the great location and how comfortable it is not only for people but also for dogs. The fenced yard covered with wood chips can be used as a private dog run, so we could skip walks when needed—easy for us, and our dog looked like they were having a great time too. The only inconvenience is that there are no amenities such as a skincare/lotion set, but we knew this in advance from the Accommodation information and brought our own, so it wasn’t an issue at all. Please keep this in mind if you plan to stay here. There were two hair dryers provided, which was great since our two teenage children could use them at the same time. The foot bath was also wonderful. Soaking our feet after waking up while drinking the provided drip coffee felt like forest bathing and was truly relaxing. Contactless check-in and check-out were easy and very convenient. Because everything is contactless, we didn’t meet any staff in person, but everything was well prepared for a comfortable stay—thank you very much.

In the quiet flow of time, I spent a truly fulfilling day. Taking a bath while gazing out at the sea from the hilltop was more than just soaking—it felt as if the view itself seeped into my whole body. I also enjoyed breakfast with an ocean view, and it reminded me how rich doing nothing can be. It’s the perfect place to gently step away from everyday life and reset yourself.

The staff, Facility, and meals were all beyond expectations and absolutely wonderful. There was a wide variety of welcome drinks, along with a coffee maker and tea provided. We also enjoyed welcome sweets, including daifuku. For breakfast, we had Japanese cuisine, which was surprisingly delicious. Every side dish was so tasty that we wished for more rice! We stayed as a family with children. The kids were thrilled with both the pool and the jacuzzi! Both were warm, so we could enjoy them comfortably even when it wasn’t midsummer. The BBQ area was also well equipped with plenty of amenities and supplies, so we had everything we needed to enjoy BBQ without any inconvenience. The optional BBQ set ingredients we ordered were very delicious. We woke up early in the morning and fully enjoyed the pool with the kids. They also happily played with the garden trampoline, balls, and other play equipment. The garden was spacious enough for the children to run around freely, and they played a lot and were completely satisfied. One night wasn’t enough to do everything, so next time we definitely want to stay for a Multiple Night Stay.

I can’t visit very often, but thank you as always. The Onsen was especially amazing—I felt truly refreshed and all my fatigue melted away. I spent two relaxing hours alternating between the Onsen and the cold bath, and the time flew by. The meal, with its small side dishes, was more than enough for me. I especially loved the curry with zucchini—it’s my absolute favorite. I’ll be back again, and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Thank you in advance.

The well-maintained shared dog run was great. Our dog looked so happy, and we used it many times. The Seika kaiseki dinner was delicious in every way—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Most impressive was the quality of the breakfast—it’s exceptionally high. There are many items, and you can really tell how carefully each one is made. The simmered beef tendon and chikuzen-ni were especially tasty, with excellent ingredients and refined seasoning. The gently warm homemade tofu and the chef’s live-cooked steak were also wonderful. The staff were very attentive as well, making this an Accommodation we look forward to visiting again in a different season.

We stayed here for my partner’s birthday trip. Surrounded by nature in a quiet setting, we were able to step away from everyday life and spend a truly wonderful time. The room was very clean, and the Facility and amenities were well equipped, so we stayed comfortably without any inconvenience throughout our stay. The size was just right, and it felt like a very cozy space for two adults. The sauna is electric, so even someone like me who isn’t used to wood-fired saunas could enjoy it easily—and it still felt authentic, which was more than satisfying. Before our stay, they also shared helpful information such as the destination (Google Maps), what to bring, and recommended nearby places, which we really appreciated. Next time, we’d love to stay for multiple nights!

From the moment we arrived and stepped into the forest, we were captivated by the beautiful architecture. Lush greenery stretches as far as the eye can see, and the space—where white walls blend perfectly with tasteful furnishings—made us feel happy just being there. What impressed us most was the top-floor bedroom and the glass-walled bath. It felt as if we were floating in the forest, and spending time surrounded by nature was an unforgettable experience. The staff were wonderful—always attentive and courteous—which made our stay comfortable and worry-free from start to finish. We visited with our dog this time, and it was truly dog-friendly. I stayed here with my 16-year-old male Miniature Dachshund, just the two of us. The Room was very clean, and the flooring was non-slip, which was a great help for a senior dog. My dog was calm and looked very content, so I was able to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace on my own.

The views are outstanding. The Onsen is spacious and includes an open-air bath; the spring water is a bit hot, so you can enjoy both. Meals are buffet-style, and the steak, soba noodles, and soft-serve ice cream were especially delicious. The Room is simple, and the bathroom area feels like a typical Business Hotel unit bath. I wanted a draft beer after the bath, but there was no such Facility in the lobby, so I bought canned beer from a vending machine. Satisfaction changes greatly depending on whether you can see the Northern Alps. I’d rate the facilities and Room as 3/5, but considering the price—about ¥30,000 on weekdays for two people with two meals—I’d give it 4/5 overall. With the Onsen and Northern Alps view, I was very satisfied. Choose a Room with a view on the 3rd floor or higher.

The open-air bath had a window, and I bathed with the screen in place. The Room had a great view, so I could relax and enjoy the scenery while soaking. The Room was compact, and the washbasin was right next to the bed; at first I found it a bit surprising, but it was actually convenient for drying my hair and getting ready. The Room felt slightly humid. I was disappointed that the toilet paper holder and the bath shelf were coming loose. Also, other LiVEMAX properties offered coffee service, but this one did not, and the coffee served with meals tasted weak. The meals were excellent—the simmered splendid alfonsino (kinmedai) was especially delicious, and the Japanese set breakfast was also very good. All of the staff were very pleasant, so I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely like to visit again.

Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. Dinner was a set course meal, with excellent seasoning and generous portions. Breakfast was buffet-style. The grilled red fish was delicious. Personally, I felt the salad bar selection was a bit limited. Overall, I was very satisfied.
