This was my first time staying with SANU! Karuizawa 1st is a quiet place surrounded by nature, and from the moment I arrived, the crisp, clear air immediately put me at ease. The Room is spacious and relaxing, with plenty of natural light through the large windows and beautiful views outside. Time felt like it slowed down, and I was able to forget the busyness of everyday life and truly recharge. I relaxed so much that I didn’t even make time for a campfire, so I’d love to come back again... haha

The pet-friendly Room has a separate route from the general guest flow, which we appreciated. The Room was also spacious and comfortable.

Following our stay last November, we stayed again in the detached Room with my spouse and our dogs. It was comfortable and very relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast featured a variety of delicious dishes made with Awaji Island ingredients, and we were completely satisfied. The sunrise over the beach right in front of us was beautiful, and the clear air felt wonderful—we left feeling refreshed and energized. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I was traveling solo and looking for an Accommodation in Kushimoto. The location felt perfect, so I made a Reservation. We exchanged emails in advance, and I was able to share my requests. It’s just a short turn off National Route 42 (about 20 m), but there’s a sign, so it was easy to find. The building has a lovely Western-style feel. I arrived in the evening, and the sunset was perfectly timed—truly impressive. When I went inside, the friendly owner welcomed me and helped me check in. Maybe because I was hungry, but the meal was incredibly delicious! Of course the fish was great, and the fried chicken and side dishes were also well prepared. The Room is simple and stylish, just like in the photos on the site. Above all, the large window is amazing—you can enjoy a panoramic ocean view from the Room. I slept soundly at night and had a very comfortable stay. It seems you can also enjoy marine activities here, so next time I’d love to come back with my family or even as a larger group with several families! The owner was cheerful and easy to talk to as well. Thank you very much!

We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the meals were completely different each night; both were very elaborate and delicious. Even though it was just the two of us on the second day, we were delighted by the generous dishes and desserts. If I had to mention one thing, since dinner lasts an hour, the wooden chairs—though beautiful—are a bit hard, so having seat cushions would be appreciated.

The staff provided very polite and warm hospitality, making us feel truly welcomed. The Room comes with an Onsen, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing bath anytime without hesitation, which completely relieved our fatigue. The dog run was exclusively ours, and our dog ran around j

We stayed as a family of four, and the kids were thrilled—they’re already saying they want to come again in winter. The meals were delicious and so plentiful that we couldn’t finish everything, which made us feel bad about leaving any. Drinks were all-you-can-drink as well, and the ice-cold draft beer was fantastic. The kids also enjoyed making their own original drinks. We also loved being able to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen anytime, and went in many times. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t see the starry sky, but we’d like to stay again next time to see it.

I was a little unsure about where the reception was, but they kindly assisted me over the phone and I found it right away! The Room and kitchen were both very well equipped, and the Facility amenities were excellent. There were also plenty of amenities for dogs, which was really helpful!! We were able to let our dog run around in the outdoor garden, and we were very satisfied! Thank you!

It was a wonderful building and a clean Room. We could feel the thoughtful attention in everything, including the kitchenware and bathroom amenities. The view was amazing, and the sunset was beautiful. We were slightly bothered at times by people fishing passing in front of the house, but otherwise it was perfect. We would like to stay again.

I initially planned to relax and work in the villa, but being able to use the spacious public bath was an unexpected bonus! Working surrounded by the sea in such a spacious room was very fulfilling; next time, I'd love to try having a BBQ with friends. Thank you so much!

This Accommodation is in a very quiet location surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing stay. We made a Reservation for a dog-friendly Room, and it was wonderful to spend time in nature with our dog without any worries. The sauna is private, so you can enjoy it as many times as you like at any time. The outdoor relaxation and cold plunge in the forest air felt amazing. Check-in was self-service. After you complete guest registration via the URL sent by email in advance, you will be able to check your Room number and check-in code. Next time, we’d love to come back for a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy some unhurried time with our dog!

We stayed with our family and our dog, and it was even better than we expected! The Room was spacious and spotless, with stylish, open interiors. Best of all, the view from the Room was outstanding, and the peaceful scenery truly helped us relax and recharge. This spacious maisonette-style accommodation is comfortable even for four adults. Mornings are especially memorable—enjoying coffee on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waves. The beach is within walking distance, and taking the picnic set provided in the cabin made our time by the sea even better. It was a relaxing stay that let us forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

I had an errand in Takachiho and ended up needing to stay one night on short notice, so I stayed at Tenwa. They were very kind and helpful, which really saved me. For the bath, I received a ticket for the nearby Amanoiwato-yu and used it. Breakfast was also great—especially the miso soup and the salmon with tartar sauce. I’m sorry for any trouble we caused when my young child ran around upstairs. If we have the chance again, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I almost felt guilty for the price we paid. Our dog also seemed to enjoy the outdoor dog run and indoor play area. The owners were truly wonderful people—kind not only to us but also to our dog, with warmth and kindness evident throughout the place. We definitely want to visit
