We had a comfortable stay in a spacious, clean Room. The BBQ dinner was very satisfying, with paella and acqua pazza in addition to BBQ. Even after checkout, we were able to play plenty at the pool and indoor play area at Rurikei Onsen, and our 4-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren were delighted. On the drive home, they kept saying, “Take us back to Rurikei,” haha. Haha

I stayed here the night before because I wanted to see the Kaiwo Maru under full sail. At check-in, I unexpectedly ran into a child on the stairs! And again when heading out for dinner, right in front of the bath area! My wife and I laughed and wondered if it was a “zashiki-warashi,” and it gave us a warm, cozy feeling. The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. As for the Kaiwo Maru under full sail mentioned in the title, perhaps because the weather was bad in the morning, it wasn’t fully set—only about half of the sails were raised. It was disappointing, but we decided we’ll check another full-sail day and come again. When we do, we’d love to stay here again.

Buffet-style dining is common at Hotels, but I was amazed that this buffet also came with generous servings of assorted seafood. Everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much. There was also a great variety of desserts, which made it even more enjoyable. That day, I went to the Tulip Festival in Yubetsu Town—after seeing the beautiful flowers, breathing in the fresh air, and enjoying a wonderful meal, it became a truly memorable day.

My aunt found a hair and, since she is not good with such things, she ended up contacting the front desk, which I felt very sorry about. However, the response afterward was truly wonderful: they handled it thoroughly using as many as four vacuum cleaners, and someone who seemed to be the manager and branch manager also apologized to her in person. Thank you very much for your exceptionally courteous service—we almost felt bad for causing you so much trouble. She also said the meat at dinner was tender and very delicious. With ocean views from every room, the scenery was amazing, and she told us it was “the best trip ever.” We sincerely appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of all your staff.

It was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and kind. I was truly impressed by the thoughtful touches throughout the Hotel, such as handwritten boards and information materials introducing birds you can see around the Hotel.\nThe Room was also very clean and comfortable, and the meals were delicious—especially the beef stew, which became my favorite. My family and I are already saying we definitely want to come again.

A hidden gem at our breakfast restaurant is the Fisherman's Bowl, also known as Mago Chazuke. Served in a special bowl with half a portion of white rice, namero (minced fish), shirasu (whitebait), pickled plum, grated yam, shredded seaweed, wasabi, and dashi broth. Perfect for those looking to replenish salt and energy during summer fatigue—give it a try! Enjoy it with the scent of the sea and ocean breeze! We have a suggestion: how about offering an "Ahi Creative Tuna Bowl" during lunchtime someday? GINGER or SPICY Ahi bowls are extremely popular in Hawaii. We believe it would be perfect for SAYAN's lunch menu and could become a hit dish. You can compare it to OFF THE HOOK or MAGURO SPOT—Ono!! Announcement! I made a Reservation here because I was staying with my child and wanted a Room with an Onsen bath. Since you fill the open-air bath yourself, you can soak whenever you like, and at night the stars were beautiful—enjoying the Onsen under the night sky was amazing. The staff were very kind: they gave us sightseeing tips, and although the main building is just a short walk away, they also came to pick us up for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was more than we could finish, while breakfast was just the right amount. The building itself is old, but it was kept very clean, and we were treated with great care—overall we were very satisfied. A staff member will guide you, but if you are staying in an annex building you will drive close to it, so I recommend going to check-in without carrying your luggage.

“Kaiwomaru Park” and “Ebie Seaside Park,” about a 30-minute drive away, were perfect for walks, and at “Olive House” in Tonami we were able to enjoy lunch together with our dogs. We made wonderful memories on our first trip staying with our dogs. I would definitely like to stay a
