Takayu Onsen is a quaint and rustic hot spring area located at the entrance of the Azuma Skyline. With partial renovations starting in 2024, a new lounge, guest rooms, and by 2025, renovated large public baths and open-air baths have reopened. Despite this loss, with encouragement from numerous supporters, we are proud to announce its revival as the new "Matsusho-so" on March 1, 2024. The building incorporates design elements of the original Matsusho-so while embracing traditional Sukiya architecture that harmonizes with nature.
