I stayed at the property in a brand-new condition just over two weeks after its opening. This time, I reserved a Comfort Semi-Double Room, and not only was the size and facility impressive, but I also felt that the overall quality of the setup was higher than other Route Inns. Of course, being newly built plays a significant role in this impression, but I felt this way even in the lobby, corridors, and the bathhouse on the first floor (both the bathtub and washing area were spacious!). It is certain that at least new Route Inns are updated compared to existing ones. Also noteworthy is that the room's TV was a smart TV compatible with Netflix and YouTube!! Due to hosting events, I've had many opportunities to visit Maniwa from Tokyo over recent years. Honestly speaking, there is basically only one business hotel in Kuze-Ochiai area; while it’s a good facility with a homely feel, reservations fill up quickly. As a result, I often ended up staying in Tsuyama or Okayama City and traveling by highway... However, with this new Route Inn opening up here now alleviates some of those inconveniences. Personally though—I hope reservations don’t get filled too fast (laughs). One more thing: due to time constraints during my stay this time around—I left without having breakfast—so next time I'd like experience their breakfast as well! At night they also have restaurant (or izakaya?) services available which I'm interested trying out moving forward. When making reservations through IKYU.com accommodation fees were reasonable too—and as long as there’s availability—it’ll be my go-to property whenever visiting Maniwa henceforth!

I was able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time and truly feel refreshed. Although there aren’t many washing stations in the bath area, each one is separated by partitions, which made it easy to use at my own pace without worrying about others. There was plenty of space, and I enjoyed a very comfortable soak. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything from the appetizers onward was delicious. At breakfast, I appreciated being able to choose between rice or rice porridge; the sansho-seasoned baby sardines and lightly seasoned eggplant were especially memorable. The staff’s hospitality was warm and attentive, making my stay comfortable from arrival to departure. I’m truly glad I chose Shikisai Ichiriki.

We visited as three generations of our family. The children enjoyed the latter half of summer vacation with marshmallows by the campfire, badminton and fireworks in the garden, and the pool. It was also great for parents to have tasty water and coffee available self-service in the lobby. The buffet at this Accommodation was thoughtfully varied, so the children never got bored and were very satisfied. The tempura and roast beef at dinner, as well as fried bread and banana milk at breakfast, were all delicious. The staff were also very pleasant. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again.

On my way back from a business trip to Tokyo, I planned a visit to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, which I had long wanted to see. I stayed one night at an Accommodation in Kinugawa Onsen. I chose it after searching with conditions such as having an in-Room Onsen bath and being reasonably priced. The lobby was well maintained, and the hallways were very clean as well. Our Room had an Onsen bath and two separate rooms, so my wife went to the large public bath while I enjoyed the in-Room bath. The meals were very delicious, and the portions were just right—slightly on the generous side. It was a quiet Accommodation where I could relax in the Onsen, which was wonderful. Many of the staff seemed to be from overseas, but everyone was polite and courteous. One thing that concerned me was that when I opened the window by the in-Room bath, there were quite a few spider webs. Also, insects gathered on the window at night so we couldn’t open it; I thought that if there had been a screen door or similar, we could have opened it. If I have another chance to visit nearby, I would like to stay again.

This was my first stay here, and it exceeded my expectations—it was a wonderful Hotel and I was truly satisfied with my stay. First of all… The Room was very clean and comfortable, so I could relax and take my time. Since spending time at the Hotel is one of the pleasures of traveling, I was happy to be able to enjoy such a comfortable Room. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a wide variety of dishes—more than satisfying. I also enjoyed ingredients unique to Hokkaido, making mealtime another highlight of the trip. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the excellent service from the staff. Everyone greeted me with a smile and provided kind, attentive, warm hospitality, which made my stay very pleasant. The Room, the meals, and the staff were all truly wonderful—this is a Hotel that made me sincerely feel glad I chose it. One of my goals for this trip was simply to stay in Niseko, and including the time spent at the Hotel, it became a great memory. If I have another chance to visit Niseko, I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you for such a lovely time.

All the staff provided wonderful, attentive service! Even in the intense midsummer heat on Miyajima, we had a truly enjoyable trip. The night tour after dinner was very informative, and the local guide’s storytelling really made us feel like we were traveling—she was fantastic. Because of time constraints and the heat, we couldn’t make it to the summit of Mt. Misen, so next time we’ll visit in autumn and would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

This time, we visited Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone for the first time, looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji as part of my wife’s birthday trip. Although it was too cloudy to see the Mt. Fuji we had hoped for, we stayed at Setsugetsuka Bettei Suiun in Hakone and were able to fully enjoy the area. Our Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was very practical and well maintained with thorough cleaning, so we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me and left me feeling refreshed from the core, and it was also great to be able to use L’OCCITANE shampoo. For dinner, being able to choose the main dish and rice during the meal felt like a thoughtful service that let us decide based on our appetite. Breakfast offered such an abundant variety that we were so full we couldn’t even eat lunch afterward. The after-bath lounge area, along with complimentary drinks and snacks on each floor, was also a welcome service whenever we felt a little hungry. The staff’s hospitality was polite and easy to understand, which left a strong impression on us as well. After checkout we went to Gora Park, and at that time a parking staff member kindly advised us that taking the mountain railway one stop would allow us to walk downhill from top to bottom more easily—very helpful advice for an older couple like us. We hope to come back soon for our “I want to see Mt. Fuji with my own eyes!” revenge trip, and when we do, we would love to stay with you again.

I was amazed by the amount of food served at dinner. There was more than I could finish, and given the times we live in, I felt very sorry about that. With plenty of fresh Sanriku seafood and a relaxing soak in the Onsen, it was an Accommodation I was extremely satisfied with.

The Accommodation is pleasantly small, making it convenient to get to the restaurant and the baths. A fireplace welcomes you in both winter and summer. The free space on the second floor is stylish, and the Room is clean and beautiful. The meals are always enjoyable and delicious. For me in my 60s, it’s just the right size, with just the right amount of food—an exceptionally comfortable Accommodation.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) We stayed here on a family trip with my parents. The Room was spacious and airy, and the greenery visible from the window was truly beautiful—so we were able to relax from the moment we arrived. This time we stayed in two Rooms, “Sono Ichi” and “Sono Yon,” and both had large baths and were wonderful spaces where we could unwind completely. The staff’s thoughtfulness also left a strong impression. They responded attentively whenever needed, while maintaining a comfortable sense of distance that never felt intrusive. They warmly celebrated my mother’s birthday, which made my parents very happy. They even sent a forgotten item to our home, and we remained grateful until the very end of our stay. The meals were unforgettable as well. The cutlet was light yet full of rich lean-meat flavor, and absolutely delicious. And the ayu sweetfish was so good that everyone in our family agreed it was the best ayu we had ever had. From the Room and bath to the food and hospitality, everything was flawless. Thank you for making our precious family trip even more special.

I always stay at Naganohaku. The breakfast was as good as ever. The sake tasting in front of the front desk was nice with snacks, but it would have been better if I could have tried four varieties. I will stay again.

My first trip to Nikko felt far from Osaka, but I was finally able to visit Ritz, which I had wanted to go to for so long. It was such an extraordinary experience and incredibly refreshing. The weather wasn’t great, but the temperature was 10°C lower than in Osaka, which made it very comfortable. The Room was beautiful and had a view of Lake Chuzenji. Above all, the Onsen was the best! At first, I thought the sulfur scent was quite strong when I stepped in, but the water left my skin silky smooth—I wanted to soak in it every day. That night we had burgers via in-room dining; they were hearty, delicious, and left us completely satisfied! I also chose the Japanese breakfast I had been looking forward to, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. We used the shuttle bus as well. I thought I might get carsick on Irohazaka, but the driver’s careful and skillful driving really impressed me. It became a truly wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

It was a trip with heavy rain throughout, but we arrived at the Hotel early and had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Since it was raining, we couldn’t use the outdoor facilities, which was disappointing, but the grandchildren and parents enjoyed the indoor Facility while Grandpa and Grandma relaxed in the Onsen. However, because of the heavy rain, getting to the restaurant was difficult. If it hadn’t been raining, it would have been perfect! The Room was spacious and we were very satisfied. The food was also delicious. If I could mention one small wish: since we were traveling with a 2-year-old, it would have been nice if drinks like barley tea were available at places like the restaurant. Next time, we’d love to visit on a sunny day.

We stayed here this time because it was conveniently located about halfway between Hitoshi Honten for dinner and the ferry terminal for the next morning. What stood out most was Vessel’s highly rated breakfast buffet—an excellent spread with plenty of variety. The staff were also cheerful and kind, which made our stay very comfortable. The only downside was that there is no large public bath; however, the unit bath comes with bath salts, and the sink/vanity area is separate outside the bathroom, so it was acceptable. The rooms and amenities were cleaner than the exterior might suggest, and with larger windows and a layout that feels spacious. While in-room drink amenities are limited, detox water and mango-pine juice are available in the lobby for a relatively long time. There’s also a FamilyMart just a short walk away (and vending machines on-site), so we had no trouble at all. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

First of all, the meals were outstanding. I’ve had enohara fish before, but this was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted! They paid close attention to how we were doing during the meal, and the timing of each next dish was perfect. Everyone on the staff greeted us with smiles throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable. Thank you very much. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

We had a comfortable stay in a spacious, clean Room. The BBQ dinner was very satisfying, with paella and acqua pazza in addition to BBQ. Even after checkout, we were able to play plenty at the pool and indoor play area at Rurikei Onsen, and our 4-year-old and 1-year-old grandchildren were delighted. On the drive home, they kept saying, “Take us back to Rurikei,” haha. Haha

For the first time in five years, I came by myself this time. At home, I’m always thinking about what I have to do and rarely get a chance to truly relax, but the time I spent at your auberge made me want to pick up books that caught my interest and listen to music I don’t usually hear. It felt wonderfully refreshing—like stepping out of everyday life. The food, of course, was more than satisfying and truly worthy of being called an auberge. Thank you very much!

After the renovation, the Room was very clean and beautiful. The food was delicious, and the upgraded course had generous portions, so we were very satisfied. The rice from Fukui Prefecture is excellent. I usually eat only about half a bowl at breakfast, but I had a second serving. It was new-season rice and truly delicious. The lobby felt a bit warm. I also soaked in the bath for a long time and couldn’t stop sweating, and when heading back to the Room you have to pass through the lobby, which felt a little hot. It was very quiet and relaxing.
