Ideally located for skiing, with very convenient access to the bus stop and ski lifts. The Facility is old, but the service is good and it has the nostalgic charm of a traditional Ryokan. Meals are served individually (not buffet-style) using local ingredients, which felt like excellent value for money and very satisfying for middle-aged and older guests like myself. I’d like to make it my regular Accommodation for skiing.

The Hotel is within walking distance of Oshidomari Terminal. Breakfast and dinner were served individually, so we could enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace. The food was delicious, including sea urchin, salmon roe, sashimi, and hokke. All the front desk staff were kind, and even though we came from Rebun Island, they also arranged Shuttle Service to the airport on our departure day. The service was courteous and attentive.

A memorable Hotel where we stayed as a family. We stayed again for the first time in over a decade. The Room seemed to have been renovated, and compared to our previous stay it had a chic, more mature atmosphere. With an ocean view, the sound of the waves and wind and the calls of birds became background music—it was incredibly relaxing. The staff were also friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. We will definitely come back to stay again.

This was my first stay, and the staff’s smiles felt genuine—not forced. Thank you to everyone for such a relaxing time. It was a Room that allows dogs, but there was hardly any animal or ammonia smell. We brought two dogs, and we were not bothered by any odor in the Room. Thank you for a wonderful time. I didn’t want to think about work starting again the next day. We’ll be back when it gets a little cooler.

Since it was a No Meals Included plan, we were able to stay at a very reasonable price, and we could also use the wonderful dog run and pool. Throughout the Hotel, we could feel the staff’s kindness and consideration toward dogs, which made our stay very comfortable.

Perhaps because it was before the Obon holidays, it wasn’t crowded, and we were able to enjoy the Onsen almost as if it were private, which made for a very relaxing stay. Although the water was clear and colorless, black mineral deposits formed in it, and it warmed us up wonderfully. The Room was well cleaned, the meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied overall. It was a bit disappointing that there is a step between the lobby and the elevator to the guest rooms. This is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again when visiting Fukushima.

We grilled yakiniku on the terrace using the stove. The weather was perfect, the view was great, and we couldn’t hear any noise from the neighboring cottage, so we had a truly enjoyable time together as a family. The interior was spacious, and the hammock was a lovely touch. We also weren’t bothered by insects at all, which I had been worried about, and we checked out thinking, “We want to do a Multiple Night Stay next time!” The activities are more geared toward adults, but if you drive about 10 minutes there’s also a park with playground equipment where younger children can have fun. Just one thing: it would be perfect if the bath water temperature were a bit more stable. Still, next time we definitely want to relax with a Multiple Night Stay.

The natural Biwamasu trout, proof of its orange color from feasting on plenty of shrimp! It's incredibly delicious!! Served as sashimi, grilled, fried, and more in generous portions. Living in the Kanto region makes it hard to visit often, but next time I’d love to try the eel hot pot (Jun-Jun). Thank you so much to everyone at the accommodation for your hospitality.

What’s fascinating about Nana’s philosophy is how deliberately it reduces “information density.” Even with just a one-night stay, I could clearly feel the Accommodation’s concept: 1) No excessive signage or posters inside 2) No filling the space with background music 3) Avoiding harsh lighting 4) Minimizing digital noise as much as possible Through the space, sound, light, and service, it conveyed the idea that “silence isn’t emptiness—it’s a state where only what’s necessary remains.” The staff were outstanding from the moment I pulled into the parking area until they saw me off the next morning. I believe this reflects an intentional design by the owners (a couple): creating a place to Clear people’s senses. 5) The main focus is not “people,” but “place” and “nature” → Prioritizing “what you feel” over “who made it.” 6) A commitment to completing the Accommodation as a “work” → Only three rooms; no adding more Facility features. No indiscriminate advertising. → A mindset of “only those who understand need to come,” aligned with traditional house restoration values. You could say this is for travelers whose purpose is to feel restored and re-centered: 7) Your body resets in the Onsen 8) Your senses reset through fire and food 9) Your mind resets through satoyama landscapes and an old folk house → Redefining travel from consumption to renewal. As tools for restoration, it offers free-flowing natural hot spring water, silence, an aesthetic space, and an Accommodation with high experiential value. → Not just “staying overnight,” but a trip where something changes. Nana’s philosophy feels almost perfectly aligned—its ideas and their realization overlap naturally. Among all the places I’ve stayed in Japan over the past few years, this was the best. In other words, choosing Nana—even for just one night—as a journey to re-center my senses and experience it as a complete work turned out exactly right. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed during Golden Week. Even though all the other Rooms were fully booked, we could hardly hear any noise from nearby, and we were able to spend a peaceful time surrounded by the quiet forest. Perhaps it was a season with very few insects, as they didn’t bother us at all, and the Facility was clean and very comfortable. Even the shampoo in the bath had a forest-like scent, and we felt that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Thank you very much. After reading through all of the Room booklet again, I realized that shared Facilities such as the washing machine were located elsewhere, and I wasn’t sure how to clean up properly after using the campfire. It would be reassuring if you could add a short note on the red paper that was originally inside the fire pit grill saying that cleanup instructions are written in the booklet. Also, since it seemed to assume everything should be returned to its original state, I wasn’t sure how far we needed to go in putting things back—such as dishcloths or used towels. It would feel even more reassuring if there were a note like: “Please place used cloths and towels in the laundry basket.” We would love to stay again. We made wonderful memories with our family.

The service was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay in a clean, well-cared-for Room (Japanese-style). The meals featured a great selection of local specialties and were both fun and delicious. However, I was surprised that someone on the same floor had a dog. I could also hear it barking in the Room, which was a bit unpleasant, and I wondered whether this is allowed. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The front desk staff are very kind. There are two bath temperatures, which is great because you won’t overheat. Having a microwave was helpful for heating up convenience store meals. At night, the noise from the neighboring Room can be a bit bothersome. It’s a great service to be able to use the bath after skiing and then head home.

Since there are no convenience stores between Bingo-Shobara Station and the Hotel, I chose the breakfast-included plan. There were several rice cookers, but they were small household-sized ones, and it didn’t feel like you could get seconds. I think it would be better to use larger rice cookers so guests can have refills.

I decided to stay as I had to visit Eniwa unexpectedly and returning home at night would have been difficult. It was a simple, courteous, and well-serviced accommodation that left me satisfied.

We stayed here with our two children on the way back from Kashiwajima. The staff’s explanations were very thorough, the meals were delicious and more than we could finish, and the Facility was clean—our kids were thrilled with the bunk beds. The nearby Onsen in the adjoining facility was also excellent, and we appreciated receiving stylish amenities. Occasionally small ants came in, but that seems unavoidable with glamping. We’d love to stay again.

I stayed at the accommodation for birdwatching at Izunuma. Early in the morning, I was thrilled to see geese flying from the room window. I made the reservation based on reviews, and the staff treated me with kindness and care, making my stay very comfortable.

Thank you very much for a truly comfortable stay. The Room was even more spacious than we had imagined, and our grandchildren were thrilled from the moment they walked in, exclaiming, “So big! So clean!” Just before our stay, one of our party fell ill, and we ended up canceling once and then making a new Reservation at our grandchildren’s strong request. Despite the inconvenience, you handled everything so kindly, and we are truly grateful. I also misunderstood the evening bath cleaning time; when I finally came out after soaking at length, you asked with a wry smile, “Are you finished…?”—and once again your gentle response really helped us. With everything that happened, it honestly became quite a challenging trip, but my daughter—who had not been feeling well—seemed to feel better than when she arrived. She was delighted and said it felt like a therapeutic hot-spring retreat. Thank you for that. Above all, Kawakami Village itself—nestled between the Yoshino River and Mount Omine—was an incredibly soothing place. It was a wonderful trip that relaxed both body and mind. Thank you very much.

It was very close to the entrance of Akame 48 Waterfalls, making it extremely convenient for walking and exploring. The building is old, but the furniture and interior are refined and do not feel rustic. The food was also delicious. We went by car, and there is a steep slope in front of the Accommodation, so it’s best to drive carefully there. Some parts of the road on the way are narrow, but they are well maintained, so as long as you watch out for oncoming cars, there should be no problem.

Everything was excellent, including the surrounding environment. The staff and the proprietress were all impeccable in their hospitality. Thank you very much. We will visit again in November to see the autumn leaves.

Initially, I made a Reservation without dinner to attend a live concert at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater, but the Accommodation kindly provided a Shuttle Service to the theater. This allowed me to have dinner at the Accommodation as well, and I was very satisfied. It was extremely disappointing that Mt. Fuji was not visible at all due to the rain.
