We were soothed by the greenery visible through the large windows and enjoyed a relaxing, luxurious stay. The weather was great, and it was wonderful to have tea and breakfast outside while listening to birdsong. We were also deeply moved by an unexpected surprise—a herd of deer came to graze nearby. We would love to visit again.

This was our first overnight stay since our baby was born. To show my appreciation to my wife, who works so hard every day caring for our child, I was looking for an Accommodation where we could relax with a baby without worry—and that’s how we found KURO. Upon arrival, we were impressed by how spacious and spotless the Room was. On top of that, you had prepared a play mat for the baby, a nap futon, and even toys in advance—we were truly touched by your thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was absolutely delicious and very filling, yet well balanced throughout the meal. We even finished all the rice balls served as a late-night snack between the two of us. We were also able to enjoy the in-room open-air bath at our own pace without worrying about anyone around us. It was wonderful to see my usually busy wife fully relax and feel refreshed. This time we stayed in the Star Room, but once our child turns one and is more active, we’d love to try the Garden Room next time as well. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!

We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and everything—from the building and location to the service and meals—was outstanding. They even took photos for her birthday celebration and handed us the developed prints at the end, which I’ve never experienced elsewhere and felt was an especially thoughtful touch. I love traveling and have stayed at many Hotels, including luxury properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Hoshinoya, and Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, but this was impressive enough to rank in my personal top five. I’d love to return again someday. Thank you very much.

I was able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time and truly feel refreshed. Although there aren’t many washing stations in the bath area, each one is separated by partitions, which made it easy to use at my own pace without worrying about others. There was plenty of space, and I enjoyed a very comfortable soak. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything from the appetizers onward was delicious. At breakfast, I appreciated being able to choose between rice or rice porridge; the sansho-seasoned baby sardines and lightly seasoned eggplant were especially memorable. The staff’s hospitality was warm and attentive, making my stay comfortable from arrival to departure. I’m truly glad I chose Shikisai Ichiriki.

This was a high-quality Accommodation where you could truly appreciate the chef’s excellent sense of taste in both the quality and quantity of the food. The bath was also wonderful and left a strong impression on me. I was particularly struck by a Nepalese female staff member who spoke Japanese well; she looked worried because a local bridge in her hometown had been washed away in a landslide disaster in Nepal.

This Hotel was truly exceptional, with breathtaking Hayama views and the warm hospitality of the staff. The Misaki-grown longtooth grouper served at dinner was especially memorable—the chef’s cooking was perfect, and I was genuinely impressed. The plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With wonderful cuisine and outstanding service, it became a truly special stay. Thank you very much.

We chose this place because the Karuizawa outlet area gets crowded and it’s hard to enjoy a relaxing summer retreat there—and it was absolutely the right decision! Everything from the Room to the Onsen has been beautifully renovated, and we were very satisfied. And for train lovers, it was a real treat to be able to take a monorail to the Onsen. Even if you don’t ride it, you can get there quickly by stairs. We’d love to stay again.

This was our fourth stay. We usually come with our kids for about three nights, and there’s never a shortage of daytime activities—pool time, crafts, fishing, table tennis, and ceramic painting. This time we also went hiking and visited the herb garden. After working up a sweat, we could soak in the Onsen anytime, and it was wonderful that the lounge was almost always available to use. We visit during summer vacation and at year-end. Since we don’t have a family home to return to, this place feels like one for us. We’ll definitely be back again—thank you in advance.

This is my favorite Hotel, which I visit about twice a year. You can relax and unwind surrounded by nature. At night, if the sky is clear, you can see countless stars from the parking lot. The Onsen also has an open-air bath, and it was wonderfully relaxing. Meals are served buffet-style, and dinner in particular features many local ingredients. I enjoyed freshly prepared roast beef and tempura. The cold noodles were also delicious; I asked where they were sold and stopped by on the way home to buy some. For breakfast, I especially loved the yogurt—when I learned it was from a farm in Iwate, I visited there as well. Although our Room was assigned for us, it was spacious, which was great since we had a lot of luggage this time. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the price.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

This was my first time staying here. Many of the staff are young and from overseas, but their Japanese is excellent, and I was amazed by how exceptionally polite and attentive their service was. Above all, you can really feel how hard they work. I had a very pleasant stay. In particular, the young woman who explained the meals and the man at the front desk during check-in—both were foreign nationals—and they were simply outstanding. The Ryokan itself has a wonderful traditional atmosphere, and I was very satisfied. We stayed to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday, and she was delighted as well! Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter.

Used this Accommodation while sightseeing around Tokachi. It is located beside Lake Kuttari at the headwaters of the Tokachi River, and with a campground nearby, the location was excellent. The Hotel felt brand-new throughout, with well-equipped Facilities, and it was a more impressive Accommodation than expected. The meals were also very delicious. The water in the open-air bath was pleasant, and it was wonderful to feel nature up close. The staff were kind as well, and I think this is an Accommodation I can recommend.

I stayed one night on 8/23 with breakfast included. The men’s bath has a spacious indoor bath, and the open-air bath is designed to feel very open, with the outside scenery visible up close. The sulfur scent enhances the Onsen atmosphere, and it’s such pleasant water that you’ll want to soak again and again. At around 1,500 m elevation, it stays very cool in summer and is comfortable to spend time here. I’d like to visit again in a different season. It seems that Shogi title matches have been held here many times as well, so Shogi fans might enjoy that too.

Both the Room and the staff member who assisted us were wonderful, and we were able to truly relax. As I casually looked out from the Japanese-style Room at the beautiful garden, a large grey heron was resting its wings by the waterfall. It was my first time observing one from so close, and I was thrilled. The thoughtfully prepared cuisine is always delicious, and this time again every dish was deeply impressive. Staying in a detached guesthouse felt perfect just being there, but I went out to make sure not to miss the live music in the lobby—and it turned into another wonderfully romantic moment. As often as time and budget allow, I would love to return again and again to unwind. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I thought it would be difficult to get there without a car, but there was a free Shuttle Service bus, so it was easy to reach by train as well. There was also a Shuttle Service to Sukayu Onsen, and I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy an Onsen with different water quality from the Hotel’s. The meals were all carefully prepared using local ingredients. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and everything was delicious. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain and wind on both days, we couldn’t use the Hakkoda Ropeway, but we were able to relax at the Hotel until it was time. We had a wonderfully relaxing summer vacation. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. The large public bath, the private bath, and the meals were all wonderful. Thank you as well for accommodating our allergies. About 20 years ago, we visited with our family on a day trip and used the jungle-themed bath. Now that our children are fully independent, this time it was just the two of us as a couple. The atmosphere of the baths has completely changed, but it still felt somehow nostalgic. In our Room, the thicker curtain did not slide properly, and there was a part we could not close before going to bed. It was also a little disappointing that the toilet and washbasin area felt quite old. Even so, everything—including seeing us off at departure—was excellent, and we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was my first time staying at an all-inclusive Hotel, and I was truly impressed by how outstanding and delicious the food was. The staff were also very helpful and responded quickly to any questions, which I really appreciated. I would like to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

Last year, I invited some friends and stayed here, and this year we were able to visit again around the same time because they really wanted to come back. I have visited several times for family events, and we were welcomed with the same warm smiles as always. The delicious, heartfelt meals, the well-kept and comfortable Room, and the bath that felt truly refreshing made for a wonderful stay. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining Room, so we could relax and eat at our own pace. The service timing was perfect, and we were fully satisfied with the quality and generous portions of the meals. We also loved that they featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients. The fireworks were spectacular from the rooftop, and the open-air bath in our Room was excellent.

It was a wonderful stay. The hospitality, the meals, and the Onsen—everything was a moving and relaxing experience. Thank you very much.
