We traveled all the way from Okayama to visit our son, who was transferred to Sendai in April. Accompanied by my eldest son, wife, and her parents from Shikoku, we stayed here after a trip to Mount Zao. The hot spring water made our skin feel smooth, and the meals—especially the local vegetables—were delicious. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again!

I have been longing for the autumn leaves of Lake Chuzenji (Chūzenji) for 10 years. Moreover, that time is my birthday! But it's so hard to get a reservation. This time, when I happened to check, it was available!? Surely there was a last-minute cancellation. I hurriedly made a reservation. All the staff at the property were smiling and cheerful, with excellent hospitality. The futon was so fluffy, I couldn't help but dive in! The bath was amazing, and the food was excellent. I was surprised at how delicious the Nikko pork was. I thought Tokyo X was supreme, but this was great too! As soon as I got home, I made a soy milk hot pot with Tokyo X. It was so delicious! The recommended sake was also very tasty, and even my wife, who doesn't usually drink sake, gulped it down. Breakfast refills were free, and I ended up having three bowls. I woke up early to take a bath, photographed the full bloom of autumn leaves while basking in the morning sun, and took another bath until just before checkout... I think I went in about five times in total? The water was truly wonderful, and I could stay in it forever. It seems to have become very popular after being featured on TV. I was really happy to be able to stay. Thank you very much.

"People who want to eat with crab miso" are appearing one after another! We used the "Akira 'Aya'" Plan with 2.5 crabs for two adults. Sashimi, grilled, tempura, shabu-shabu, it was all crab! Crab! Crab! Haha Grilling over charcoal on a shichirin was just the best. Dip the meat in crab miso and eat it! It was the ultimate luxury~! The property had a warm atmosphere, and we were able to spend our time very leisurely. The food, including the crab, and even the breakfast, was all incredibly delicious! The property allows bringing in your own items, so we were grateful to be able to bring our favorite drinks and enjoy them with the meal. It became a very good memory, and we liked it so much that we want to go again!

The Accommodation was located on the shores of Lake Yamanaka and offered a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. The showers and toilets were shared, but they were well cleaned, and combined with the affordable rate, it was not an issue at all. I was also able to sleep soundly.

When asked, “How was it?”, I’d say, “I want to live here!” The food was delicious, the Onsen was wonderfully relaxing, and best of all, the ocean was right in front of us— even lying on the bed, we could watch ships passing by. It was an amazing time. My husband woke up before 5 a.m. and went fishing on the private beach right in front of us, and he seemed very satisfied. The staff were also very kind, and it became a wedding anniversary filled with wonderful memories.

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, and this is the best value minshuku. When you think of Accommodation meals, fish or meat is often the main focus, but here it’s truly centered on mountain vegetables, with fish and meat as well. Each dish clearly reflects the hostess’s care and effort—everything is incredibly delicious and very filling! It honestly makes you wonder if this price is really okay. I only stayed one night, but I somehow feel healthier too. The drive from Kumamoto City to the Accommodation can be quite challenging (I was told by the staff that the roads are better if you come via Hitoyoshi), but an exceptional Accommodation awaits at the end—give it a try!

We stayed for one night to enjoy playing in the snow with our dog. The building is old, and the room does not have a private bathroom or toilet, but the shared facilities were renovated, very clean, and easy to use. There was also a shared refrigerator in the hallway, which was very convenient! The waffle for dogs we received upon arrival seemed delicious as our dog quickly finished it. The dog's meal had an appetizing aroma and was enjoyed thoroughly. Of course, the meals for humans were also excellent with a variety of side dishes that were more than enough to eat. Everything was incredibly delicious! The bagels at breakfast were chewy and so tasty that I became a big fan of them! I would love to have them again. The hostess's warm personality made our stay even better, and Kojiro-kun, the rescue dog there, was friendly and adorable—a truly wonderful accommodation. One small request: when laying out the futon in the room, we noticed that where parts of the flooring carpet overlapped had come undone slightly, revealing dust and debris underneath. It might be an overlooked area but would appreciate if it could be cleaned. It’s such a comfortable accommodation where we could relax fully—we loved it so much that we've already made another reservation for next month! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

I stayed at the accommodation during a trip with friends visiting from outside the prefecture. As a local, I had visited for lunch several times and always wanted to stay here, so it was a dream come true! The vacation rental was full of thoughtful touches that impressed both me and my friends. Also, the kotatsu was perfect for the colder season. For dinner, we requested BBQ. There was a BBQ hut to keep us warm, and we were amazed by the delicious meat and vegetables prepared for us! We were completely full but still enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The owners were incredibly kind and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable with their conversations. My friends and I are already talking about coming back again—I can’t wait to visit once more!

I absolutely adored the owner—I was completely smitten. They prepared everything for us, from the BBQ setup to a Goemon-style bath and even a mochi-pounding experience, and we had an amazing time! With board games inside and unique Rooms, this Accommodation offers more than you can enjoy in just one day. We’ll be back.

I am completely satisfied with the hospitality of the staff, the Facility, and the meals! If I had to say, the only drawback is the access. You have to drive on a considerable mountain road for a long time... However, because it is in such a location, the night sky was the most beautiful and moving I have seen in my 40 years of life!

We stayed in a trailer house for the first time as a family of five. The interior was spacious and long, equipped with a kitchen, sofa, bunk bed, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. (It would be nice to have more plates.) Initially, the air conditioner was noisy, but once it cooled down to about 25 degrees Celsius, it became quiet. Outside, there was an open-air bath with a fence (enough for three people) and a playground for children. There was also a convenience store nearby which was very helpful. At night we had BBQ; however, we struggled to light the charcoal—it would be great if there were more fire starters available. Even with small children making noise, the distance between units provided peace of mind. The manager was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. We even forgot some items but they kindly sent them back to us—thank you so much! It was more affordable than staying at a Hotel and still enjoyable. Next time we'd love to try staying in one of the private rental units!

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during Golden Week with my daughters and our pet rabbit. The sound of the stream from Reisenji River in front of the room and the chirping of small birds created a refreshing atmosphere, allowing us to spend our time peacefully. The meals were delightful, featuring dishes like mountain vegetable tempura, homemade tsukudani, green onion sauce, garlic-flavored grilled chicken skewers, and the specialty rainbow trout somen fry. We enjoyed every dish so much that we emptied the rice container. Each dish was explained to us in detail, and we felt warmth from the hospitality provided by your family. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, perfect for a relaxing soak that left our bodies warm afterward. The private family bath with free-flowing hot spring water had an abundant supply and was truly enjoyable. Additionally, we could use the public bath right across from the accommodation for free to fully enjoy more Onsen experiences. This trip came right after a busy first month of the new fiscal year for our family; it felt like returning to a relative's countryside home where we could unwind and recharge ourselves completely. With limited accommodations available that allow pets to stay together in-room with meals served there as well, this place is incredibly appreciated! We would love to visit again!

The room is clean. Breakfast is delicious. The front desk staff provides polite guidance and has a pleasant demeanor. I look forward to staying again.

Stayed for business. The Room is spacious enough and fully equipped with a two-door refrigerator, an IH kitchen, a drink server (coffee, water, and green tea), and an in-room washing machine (powder detergent provided). Shampoo options include Tsubaki and LUX, and the bed with a Sealy mattress is very comfortable. I would like to stay again if I have work in the area.

Having stayed in Bise before, I already knew the atmosphere, and when I found this Accommodation right in front of Bisezaki—where you can snorkel—I was immediately Done. I had planned a Multiple Night Stay for 2 nights, but a typhoon canceled my flight and it ended up being just 1 night, which was disappointing. Still, this Accommodation exceeded expectations in every way and I was completely satisfied. Needless to say, the location is amazing, and everything about the Room—from the facilities to the cleanliness—was excellent. The warm hospitality of the owners (a couple?) was wonderful as well. Drinking a beer by the sea while watching the sunset and listening to Okinawan songs… there are no words. And what could easily be called the main event: stargazing! A sky full of stars. I will definitely stay here again to see Bise’s ocean and starry sky!! Since it was only 1 night and I had plans to go to Minna Island on checkout day, I checked out while holding back my strong desire to swim in Bise’s sea one more time. Next time, I’ll stay for multiple nights and truly relax.

We stayed here during the Golden Week holidays. In a quiet space far removed from the bustle of everyday life, we were able to relax at our own pace while soaking in the private Onsen. Thoughtful touches could be found throughout the Accommodation, and both dinner and breakfast were heartfelt and delicious, featuring an abundance of Shizuoka’s seafood and mountain produce. The sake tasting was excellent as well, and we also appreciated that the kamameshi we couldn’t finish was carefully made into rice balls for us. While eliminating anything unnecessary, the Accommodation still felt luxurious, and we truly enjoyed the attentive yet never overbearing service. Thank you very much!

The crew plays with the children and provides excellent hospitality. The meals, featuring locally sourced ingredients, are incredibly delicious!

It was a very clean Ryokan. I could walk around barefoot comfortably and had a pleasant stay. They provided black tabi socks for indoor use, but since they were unisex, the men’s size seemed small (lol), so I stayed barefoot. The meals were just as described in the Reviews—very satisfying. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. I’d love to stay again. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

This is my third stay. Extremely comfortable! Although there are minor issues every time, the customer service is exceptional. They answer calls immediately and respond promptly to any concerns! The washing machine is a lifesaver for our large family. When I mentioned that the provided detergent pods were leaking, they quickly brought over a pouch of detergent instead. The sense of security here is incredible. On a completely unrelated note, my car got stuck in the sand in front of the Hotel due to my driving mistake, but people nearby kindly helped me out. The locals are so warm and helpful too!

I felt so relaxed that I wished I could have stayed longer. It was a shame I could only stay for one night. The amenities were fully equipped and very comfortable. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.
