TABI YADO Ranatn is a small Property located in Kurohime Kogen, Shinano Town, at the northern tip of Nagano Prefecture. With convenient access just 10 minutes from the Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, it serves as an ideal base for exploring Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, Togakushi, Madarao, Iizuna, Obuse, and Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City. A short 10-minute drive will also take you to Niigata Prefecture, making it convenient for trips to Myoko Kogen and Akakura Onsen. This small Property, run by a husband-and-wife team, has only six Rooms. While it does not offer the Facilities of a Hotel, it is loved for its European-style homemade cuisine, carefully prepared and served fresh, as well as its charming, café-like interior filled with greenery and decorative items. In addition, there is a separate cottage, "with DOG 207," which is exclusively available for one group per day and allows pets to stay. This has been well-received by guests. The spacious private dog run and the 44㎡ interior of the cottage provide a quiet, forest-like retreat, designed with the concept of "a relaxing holiday with your dog." You can freely use our two private baths as many times as you like without needing a Reservation.Located in the serene Tateshina Highlands, a summer retreat in the Suwa region of Nagano Prefecture, known for its easy access from various areas. This forest-surrounded pension is part of the world-renowned mountain resort "NAGANO." It is approximately 200 km from both Tokyo and Nagoya via the expressway. From Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line), it is a 2 km drive on paved roads within the villa area, and 5 km from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway/Pilatus Tateshina Snow Resort. The road from Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line) to the pension is fully paved, so we recommend arriving by car. We regret to inform you that Shuttle Service is not available. (Please ensure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires or tire chains during the period from December to March.) Situated on the slopes of Kita-Yatsugatake in the Tateshina Highlands, at an altitude of 1700m within the Pilatus Hill villa area, the maximum temperature rarely exceeds 20°C even in midsummer, with morning and evening temperatures ranging from 8°C to 12°C.As a general rule, we accommodate adults only, with a maximum capacity of 8 guests, which is one-third of our full capacity. We strive to create a space where you can enjoy leisurely conversations with your loved ones. Depending on the season, there may be lucky days when the Property is reserved exclusively for one group of two guests. (For stays with children, please consult with us in advance.)

One of our proud highlights is the Onsen, perfect for soothing your fatigue. We offer two open-air baths with indoor baths and one indoor bath, all available for private use at no extra charge. While we are not a modern Hotel equipped with the latest amenities, we warmly welcome you with heartfelt hospitality. The facility is equipped with a coin laundry and a microwave. There is a bus stop right in front, and Izu-Nagaoka Station is just over a 10-minute walk away. By car, Route 136 and the Izu-Jukan Expressway are close by, providing easy access to various destinations. Guests are free to come and go after check-in, allowing for a highly convenient stay tailored to your needs. This flexibility makes our facility popular for long-term stays. A log house pension modeled after a Swiss home, located at an altitude of 1500m, exuding the fragrance of wood. During the green season, you can enjoy sightseeing in Kamikochi and Mt. Norikura, with nearby attractions including Shirahone Onsen, Azumino, and Takayama for day trips. Even in midsummer, the maximum temperature is around 25°C, and mornings and evenings are below 20°C, providing natural air conditioning for a comfortable stay. Norikura Highlands is also a stargazing paradise! At Ichinose Meadow, you can experience the best starry sky with no artificial light and crystal-clear air. Starting from late September, the autumn foliage begins at the upper part of Mt. Norikura and gradually descends the mountain. By mid-October, the highlands reach their peak with vibrant autumn colors. In November, the larch forests across Norikura Highlands turn golden, painting the late autumn scenery of Norikura. In winter, the property is ideally located just a 2-minute walk from the Mt. Norikura Ski Resort slopes! Enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the finest powder snow. Our Onsen features water drawn from the "Norikura Kogen Suzuran Onsen" in the Suzuran area, known for its gentle and skin-beautifying properties. After bathing, the warmth lingers, keeping you cozy. The Onsen is generally available for private use, but during full occupancy, it may be separated by gender depending on the guest composition. Dinner is a casual Western course meal including soup, salad, fish dish, meat dish, rice, and dessert. Breakfast is an American-style breakfast with unlimited refills of bread, coffee, and tea.
