A 100-year-old townhouse (traditional house) renovated into a rental property, located in the Yuasa Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District in Yuasa Town, Wakayama Prefecture. This townhouse retains the traditional construction style of the area, featuring an earthen floor, open ceiling, and skylight. During the renovation for accommodation purposes, most walls were repainted, but natural wooden pillars and beams, as well as some charmingly sooty walls, have been preserved.
