Opened in 1902. Located deepest within the Nyuto Onsen area. Surrounded by majestic mountains, we have protected these precious natural hot springs for generations. Our Onsen facilities include separate indoor baths for men and women, a mixed-gender indoor bath, and a mixed-gender open-air bath. There are three different spring sources. You can enjoy three distinct types of Onsen. Magoroku Onsen Rokuan is a rare village-style Ryokan, with buildings separated into individual lodges. It may not feel luxurious in every way, but because you will often step outside, you can experience Magoroku’s great nature directly. The stillness of summer nights, the beauty of the morning sun, and the cool breeze. There are experiences and moments of awe that can only be found here. We have six Rooms in total; each Room accommodates up to two guests for a relaxing stay. Our dining area is counter-style and is the only place where all guests gather at once. A Ryokan that connects nature and people—and brings people together as well.

The Onsen uses water drawn directly from the Dogashima Onsen source of Hakone’s historic “Hakone Seven Hot Springs,” with temperature adjusted via heat exchange without adding water. Both open-air and indoor baths are provided, offering views of Hakone’s clear streams and forests so you can feel close to nature. Choose your preferred designs for items such as room keys, yukata robes, and even chopsticks during meals to customize your stay.
