This Property offers a completely private space, accommodating only one group per day with an entire building rental. The theme of the Property is inspired by the "moon," a motif favored by samurai of the past. On the first floor, you'll find a dining area featuring an impressive gold leaf and lacquer artwork inspired by the "moon," a traditional Japanese room and sofa space overlooking a courtyard garden. The second floor includes a Japanese-Western style bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a round bathtub reminiscent of a Goemon bath, and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Shunkouen is a Ryokan and restaurant located on the site of the former samurai residence of the Inagawa family, retainers of the Inaba clan, who were lords of Usuki during the Edo period. Experience the rich history of Usuki through its cuisine. Shunkouen welcomes guests from across the whole country who share a love for fugu (pufferfish). Sharing the unchanging deliciousness of fugu and bringing joy to our guests is our greatest motivation.
