We have established a unique esthetic salon in Yufuin that combines a Property, Onsen, and dining experience from the ground up. Within the Property and Rooms, you can relax as if you were at home. The furniture used in the Room is all one-of-a-kind antique pieces made in Japan, dating from the Meiji to early Showa periods. Each piece of furniture has a distinctive charm that makes it highly photogenic. While the Rooms do not have private baths, toilets, or washbasins, there are two shared toilets and four shared washbasins available, ensuring ample facilities for your comfort. For bathing, we offer a natural hot spring rock bath with free-flowing Onsen water. The mineral-rich spring water not only promotes healing of wounds but also provides high beauty benefits, leaving your skin smoother with every soak. As the bath is available for private use, you can enjoy it at your leisure and to your heart's content.

The healing property 'Miyamaso,' surrounded by the beautiful nature of Shinshu. We look forward to your visit.

Ueki Onsen "Kirino-yu" is a healing space with abundant natural hot spring water that refreshes both the mind and skin. Featuring rooms with open-air baths, it offers a private onsen experience. The kaiseki cuisine, made with seasonal ingredients from Kumamoto, is highly regarded, allowing you to savor fresh local flavors in a private setting. Located just 40 minutes by car from Kumamoto city, it is a tranquil hot spring village surrounded by rural landscapes, ideal for relaxation. We promise a comfortable stay with heartfelt hospitality.
Our Accommodation is built around the concept of a “quiet therapeutic retreat to reconnect with Onsen,” where you can enjoy the Awazu Onsen source spring with 1,300 years of history. A Showa-era therapeutic style Accommodation designed for slow, peaceful enjoyment of Awazu Onsen’s source spring. We pour freshly drawn source water directly into the bath and offer pure free-flowing Onsen, so you can restore your body and spend unhurried, quiet time. We value this kind of calm stay. Ideal for solo travelers and small groups such as couples and families, this Accommodation is recommended for those who prefer a tranquil escape and time to truly immerse themselves in Onsen rather than a lively trip.
