One of my recent pleasures has been traveling during summer vacation with my daughter and grandchild. This year, we chose Kinosaki Marine World. The Accommodation was naturally Kinparo. For two days, we had unlimited entry and re-entry. That was very helpful. We enjoyed the attractions too—like the dolphin trainer experience—and had fun like kids again. Of course, my 6-year-old grandchild was thrilled as well. The meals and the Onsen were great. However, there is room for improvement in the children’s menu. Kids have sharp taste buds. Extra French fries would have been better. It’s similar everywhere, but meals for children are often disappointing. Other than that, everything was comfortable. All three generations had a wonderful time together.

My grandchild fell asleep during dinner, and the staff kindly prepared a chair that could also be used as a baby bed, which was very helpful. Thank you very much. The front desk staff were also courteous and made us feel welcome. If I had to mention anything, it might have been even better if there had been a pleasantly scented air freshener in the hallway leading to the pet rooms. Also, since we brought two Yorkshire Terriers, it would have been nice to have a few more pet amenities available.

This was my second stay. Recently I had been staying mostly at Hotels directly connected to Niigata Station or close to the station, but I made a Reservation this time because I wanted to enjoy this breakfast buffet again after a long time. I was a little disappointed that there were fewer varieties of branded rice than before, but everything paired perfectly with rice and was very delicious. With three kinds of yogurt and four kinds of fruit, it was a very satisfying breakfast. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed for one night and two days with our grandchild. As mentioned in the Reviews, the building and the Room itself are indeed old, but everything was properly cleaned and there were no issues. With the all-you-can-play passport, we fully enjoyed bowling, the pool, craft-making, festival-style games, quizzes, a stamp rally, and more. The free shuttle bus from the Hotel to Yubatake at night was extremely helpful; it was my first time seeing the Yubatake illumination, and I was surprised by how many tourists were there. Even though it was summer, walking around Yubatake felt pleasantly cool—almost a little chilly—which was wonderful. The next day we used the Hotel bus again because I wanted my grandchild to enjoy street food and try yumomi (hot spring water stirring). I had only ever visited Kusatsu in winter before, so this summer trip was a first for me. While news reports talked about extreme heat in Tokyo, I was amazed at how cool and comfortable Kusatsu is in summer. At night we didn’t need air conditioning in our Room; it even felt slightly chilly. Summer in Kusatsu is great.\nThe meals were delicious, and everyone at the front desk, each reception counter, and the shop—especially the international staff—was very polite and pleasant. Every staff member provided excellent service; I was truly impressed. This is a highly recommended Hotel for families with children as well. We would love to visit again. One drawback is that the Hotel is so large that it’s easy to get lost—especially when trying to find the baths; as noted in Reviews, we got lost too. Overall though, it was a wonderful Hotel. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our stay. We loved the atmosphere of the Ryokan and the feel of the Room—it was exactly to our taste and wonderful. The meals also featured seasonal ingredients, and we were very satisfied. All of the staff were very courteous, and since it was our child’s birthday, they even sang for us, which made them very happy.

Staying at Kisshotei with my family this time was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, the room was clean and cozy, and the staff were all very kind. The meals and hot spring experience were excellent. My family had a wonderful stay, and it left us with great memories from this trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi and mobile signal were somewhat unstable, which made it a little inconvenient to use. If this can be improved in the future, the stay would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I visit Yamanaka Onsen again, I would love to stay at Kisshotei again!

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been looking for an Accommodation that doesn’t serve meals buffet-style, and we chose Ayameya Ryokan based on its excellent Reviews. Throughout the property—not only the Room, but also the baths, changing area, and toilets—we could really feel how clean everything was. The meals were full of thoughtful touches, such as a creatively arranged chawanmushi and tempura enjoyed with miso. It was quite a generous amount, but it was so delicious that we finished everything. The breakfast rice porridge was also a welcome treat. The Onsen water felt wonderfully soft, and we were able to soak slowly as if it were a private bath without running into other guests. (The open-air bath was a little lukewarm for me.) Lately we had been staying mostly at large Hotels, so this time—thanks to the cheerful proprietress and the attentive hospitality of all the staff—we were able to rediscover how wonderful a Ryokan can be. It became an unforgettable Onsen trip. It was truly amazing! Proprietress, please take good care of yourself—and I hope you can relax and be pampered as a guest from time to time as well.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The staff at the reception and dining area were very helpful, the bath was spacious and clean, and the meals were delicious. Also, Hana-chan, the Accommodation’s character, appears in various places and is both soothing and informative with helpful comments, which made me feel that a lot of thought has gone into the details. I would love to stay here again.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel in Sapporo. First of all, the staff were very kind and helpful. The Room was clean and wonderful, with a panoramic view of Odori Park below. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes. I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again next time.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times since it opened. It’s a favorite of mine, packed with charm. The interior features abundant Hida-sourced wood, creating a calm atmosphere where warmth and luxury are beautifully balanced. Whether in the lobby or the guest Rooms, it’s comfortable everywhere. The Onsen is also outstanding, with blue mosaic tiles in the baths. They are not only visually beautiful but also pleasant to the touch, making it easy to truly unwind. There is an additional fee, but I especially recommend the private bath with a spacious deck—an indulgent experience in a fully private setting. Above all, my greatest pleasure here is dinner. This time, Perla caviar was served as an amuse-bouche—presented in the tin—which genuinely surprised me with its extravagance. From there, the course continued with spear squid, lobster, and Hida beef; every dish showcased superb ingredients along with the chef’s skill and sense of style. Each plate was moving in its own way—it was simply a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet is equally impressive. From local Takayama specialties to salmon marinade and their signature Hida beef curry, everything is so well executed that it hardly feels like typical Hotel breakfast—I was completely satisfied from the morning. Most memorable of all is the hospitality of the staff. Not only do they respond kindly and attentively whenever you need help, they also greet even casual travel conversations with warm smiles that make you feel truly welcome. If you stay here, I encourage you to chat with them—you’ll appreciate this Hotel even more. Room quality, Onsen, dining, and service—few Hotels deliver such a high level across every aspect. And despite that excellence, the Accommodation Fee is surprisingly reasonable; considering what you receive, the value for money is exceptional. For me, it’s one of my absolute favorite Hotels in Japan—one I will happily return to again and again.

This was our first stay here. We spent our family summer vacation here. The kids enjoyed the pool, each chose what they liked at the buffet, and we all had a great time in the spacious Onsen. As parents, we were also able to relax and take it easy. All of the Hotel staff were truly kind. When I emailed with questions before our stay, they replied politely, and during our stay they greeted us with smiles whenever we passed by, which made our time very pleasant. Even while dining at the buffet, their attentive service made us feel comfortable and able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The scenery was beautiful and gave a wonderful sense of openness. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned and spotless, which we really appreciated. We would love to stay again.

The Onsen was even smoother and more moisturizing than I imagined. The meals were great—beautifully presented and delicious! There was almost too much food. We stayed here with three generations—my daughter and her husband, our grandchild, and my mother. The private bath was spacious, and the Onsen was wonderful! The dining area was also a private room, and the staff who served us were very kind, so we had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and it was cold, so we couldn’t use the pool. It was our first time at an Accommodation where the Room, meals, and large public bath were all on the first floor, making it easy to get around with minimal walking. I think it’s an elderly-friendly Accommodation! If we have another chance, this is a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay with my 4th-grade daughter. Not only the Room, but also the floor and elevators had a ship theme. We had just come back from DisneySea, so we felt a little sad to leave it behind, but once we entered the Hotel, we could immerse ourselves in that atmosphere again, which was wonderful. The Room and beds were small, but for two women it was not a problem at all. The bathroom is also small, so if you are staying with a man, I think a different type of Room would be better. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of staples, main dishes, side dishes, and drinks, and everything was replenished quickly—it made for an enjoyable morning. The food was delicious and we could eat at a relaxed pace, so I’m glad we chose the plan with breakfast included.

From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless—the elegant front desk staff and even a complimentary Room upgrade. The Room was more than clean enough, spacious, with a beautiful view, and the food was delicious. We were completely satisfied with everything! If we come to Shiga Prefecture again, we would definitely choose this Hotel.

The Facility is old, but the rates are affordable, and since the meals are kaiseki cuisine, we enjoyed them at a relaxed pace. Above all, the Kanmon Bridge and the Kanmon Strait can be seen from the Room, bath, and dining hall—absolutely wonderful. We were able to take our time enjoying the view of various ships coming and going. We will stay again.

I stayed for five nights and was able to relax in the Onsen. I love the atmosphere of Hakodate and visit a few times a year. I used to regularly stay at S or R near the warehouse district, but after trying this Hotel, I found it very reasonably priced and the breakfast (both Japanese and Western) was excellent. The staff were also very kind, which made me feel at ease. The large public bath has free-flowing natural hot spring water, and there is also a sauna—no wonder it’s becoming so popular. I will be staying again from October 4th to 8th.

Because I was traveling with my elderly mother (in her 80s, with lower back pain), I consulted in advance, and they provided a rollaway bed in our Room and also brought in a table for in-room dining. Instead of taking the garden path with stairs to the entrance as usual, a staff member picked us up by car at the parking lot, and we entered through the rear entrance on the 4th floor. Since our Room had a private bath, my mother felt at ease and was able to soak comfortably. Even when the water was hot, she could adjust it with cold water and enjoy several baths. The meals were on the Standard Plan, but every dish was easy to eat, delicious, and more than enough in quantity. The trainee also explained each dish carefully and kindly offered to take photos for us. We were able to relax very peacefully during our stay. Just one thing: because there was a step down at the toilet entrance, I felt it might be a little unsafe for elderly guests; it would be better if it were flat or had a ramp. This time we spent most of our time in the Room, but if we have another opportunity to stay again, we would like to enjoy the garden and the open-air bath as well.

It’s a little away from Hankyu Umeda Station, but not far enough to be a concern. There are many restaurants nearby, making it a convenient location. The Hotel staff are polite and welcoming, and they see you off pleasantly as well. You can also enjoy the “Miracle Breakfast” at a relaxed pace. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

On our first trip to Aomori, we stayed the night before the Nebuta Festival for the first time, and everything—the meals, drinks, service, and Onsen—was excellent. Our three-generation family was very satisfied when we left. If I had to ask for one thing, a massage chair would make it even better. We were completely satisfied and truly enjoyed Aomori.
