This was our eighth stay. Ever since our first visit, the Room, the private bath, and the surroundings of the Hotel have been very comfortable, and the meals are delicious. We stay about once a year, and it has become something my wife and I truly look forward to. This time as well, the food was excellent—especially the Chateaubriand, which was outstanding. Although it was rainy and we didn’t go to Mount Koya this time, we were able to see exceptionally beautiful flowering peach trees and weeping cherry blossoms around Sanso Amanosato.

I visited during the rainy season, a time I don’t usually choose. Both dinner and breakfast featured exquisite dishes that felt refreshingly cool to the eye and captured the early-summer atmosphere, lifting the gloom of the rainy skies. What makes this Accommodation truly exceptional is being able to enjoy outstanding cuisine at any time, thoughtfully crafted to reflect the season through sight, aroma, and taste. I also deeply appreciate the warm, friendly hospitality shown by all of the staff.

After watching a TV program featuring purple sea urchin, we visited looking forward to the dining experience. The cuisine, making the most of Amakusa’s abundant natural bounty, was far beyond our expectations—truly outstanding. We also appreciated the thoughtful explanations about the ingredients and stories about the producers, and enjoyed a wonderful time with the paired drinks. Dinner enjoyed while watching the beautiful sunset is a special memory we will never forget. A stylish and comfortable Room, an Onsen with ocean views, and breathtaking scenery right before our eyes—everything was exceptional and deeply relaxing. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality of your staff, who clearly love Amakusa. Their desire to share Amakusa’s charm and ensure every guest truly enjoys their stay came through in every detail, and thanks to their attentive care we felt comfortable throughout. It became an unforgettable stay for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I decided to stay because the Reviews were so positive, though honestly I wasn’t expecting that much. However, the Onsen, meals, and service were truly outstanding. The ceramic bath and private baths could be used as many times as you like with no additional charge, and the staff made me feel comfortable leaving everything in their hands. I highly recommend the ceramic bath. The large public bath also had a great view and an open, relaxing atmosphere, and the sauna was spacious as well. Of course, the bath in the Room was also excellent—you can adjust the temperature. Above all, every meal was exceptional! Both the French cuisine and Japanese cuisine may have been my best ever. It was a moving experience that delighted all five senses. The service—and conversations—from each chef and all of the staff were truly wonderful! I would definitely love to return again. It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, and the in-room Onsen was excellent—I enjoyed it many times. The private bath had no time limit, and I could use it anytime as long as it was available, which made me very satisfied. The staff greeted me with smiles. Above all, every meal was delicious and made me feel truly happy. I have stayed at various Accommodations before, but I think this one was the best. During my stay, I already wanted to come back again. It was truly great. Thank you very much.

The food, the massage treatment, the Onsen, the clean Room, and the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife—everything was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied. I’ve had massages near my workplace before, but a professional treatment and technique are on a completely different level. Thank you very much. We will definitely come again.

We planned a three-night trip to Nara. The first two nights were at a Hotel near Nara Station, so for the final night we chose this place a little farther out—especially because it offered the rare experience of staying in a soy sauce brewery. It far exceeded our expectations. Right after arriving, we joined the soy sauce pressing experience and were immediately captivated by the owner’s talk. I was truly impressed by the story of how he revived soy sauce making from scratch after his grandfather had been forced to stop after the war. Dinner dishes made with this deeply meaningful soy sauce highlighted mostly home-grown vegetables and let each ingredient shine—everything was exceptional. Even dessert (I think it was crème brûlée?) used soy sauce, and it was genuinely delicious. The Hatsuse Room was also a comfortable, calming space where we could rest well. Not having a TV was actually great. The wooden bath was wonderful too. Breakfast—rice with raw egg, an egg with a white yolk (?), and fresh fried tofu with soy sauce—was simple but the best kind of feast. The staff kindly answered even my husband’s rather unreasonable (laughing) questions, and I admired their sincere hospitality. Visiting in midsummer was lovely, but next time I’d like to return to this Accommodation in another season.

I stayed here with my husband and our dog. The owner is a true dog lover, and our dog was able to relax and feel at ease. The Accommodation was very clean, thoroughly well maintained down to every corner, which made our stay very comfortable. And most of all, the bath was a wonderful surprise! The open-air bath was fantastic. Since we were the only guests this time, we could enjoy it at our preferred times and soak in peace—it felt like a real luxury. Dinner was Italian cuisine: appetizers, two pasta dishes, Nasu beef, and dessert. Everything was truly delicious. For breakfast we could choose between pizza muffins and French toast, but we wanted both so we ordered both and shared. The French toast in particular was outstanding! We had a relaxing and enjoyable time with our dog, making it a very satisfying one-night trip. We would love to visit again.

Not only was the Room wonderful, but the host was truly kind. Even though I contacted them just two days in advance to plan a surprise celebration for my companion, they prepared a message plate and even decorated the Room for us. I’d love to stay again.

The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. The Room was clean, and the bath was very relaxing. There were plenty of drinks and snacks provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the rice-based dishes.

This Hotel was the very purpose of our trip to Kagawa Prefecture. We didn’t do any sightseeing at all, but from the bottom of my heart I’m so glad we came. Throughout the entire Facility, we could feel the owners’ attention to detail and refined sense of beauty in every corner, and at the same time we were truly grateful for their warm hospitality toward guests. Vintage and modern, Japan and Europe—things that are completely different were seamlessly combined through their sensibility. The interior design, the cuisine, and even its presentation were all wonderful and deeply inspiring. The old sofa in our Room had real character, was very comfortable to sit on, and matched perfectly with the modern furniture. Over time, the linen has developed such a beautiful color! I could really understand why the owner is so particular about that sofa. Also, since I’ve been considering buying the chair at the writing desk myself, I was happy to be able to try how it feels to sit in it. Everything they have selected was fascinating and exciting. Above all, their personalities are wonderful—we definitely want to come back again. (A stylish husband and an adorable wife!!) We’d love to stay in other Rooms as well, and see the garden in a different season too. For us, this was a truly meaningful encounter that brought new insights. This was my second stay. I visited with my parents, the three of us. The bath is on the small side, but the Onsen water quality is excellent—personally, I think it’s far better than most Onsen. Meals were the highlight for me, and the cuisine here is outstanding, on par with kaiseki in Tokyo. With plenty of seasonal ingredients, everything tastes wonderful and you can truly enjoy each dish. It was a very relaxing one-night, two-day stay.

We were blessed with great weather on this trip—clear skies every day and stunning views of Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan from the mountain. Because this Facility comes so highly recommended, we arrived early to make the most of it. With the all-inclusive plan, we enjoyed a beer right away while soaking in the open-air bath on our Room’s balcony. The Room had a Western antique style, and everything—from the bed and furnishings to the tableware—was superb. The Italian dinner was outstanding and truly worthy of an auberge, and the house wine was exceptionally delicious. The hospitality was excellent as well; the owner personally greeted us, and we had a wonderful conversation. From around sunset, a sea of clouds began to spread out—so spectacular that even the owner said it was something rarely seen. We were able to fully enjoy both an incredible meal and breathtaking scenery.

This was our third stay. Everything was outstanding! Not only the meals, but every wine you recommended was delicious. Even though I don’t usually drink, I was so happy to enjoy so many wonderful wines on this trip. Because of the typhoon, we couldn’t come on our preferred dates and had to reschedule, but you handled it very smoothly and we truly appreciate it. All of the staff were genuinely kind and were also very considerate to our child. KuuRa Beach was also beautiful and lovely. We look forward to staying with you again.

In the wonderful space created by the owners, we were able to spend a truly relaxing and restorative time. Enjoying their thoughtfully prepared dishes—down to the seasonings—paired with local sake and served in locally made tableware was a real luxury... The journey there, transferring between local trains and buses, also became a memorable part of our trip. We would love to visit again someday in a different season. I was impressed by every aspect of this stay. First, the food was truly outstanding. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the menu featured an abundance of seasonal items that are hard to come by in everyday life—such as longtooth grouper (kue), Shizuoka-brand eel “Deshiko,” pike conger (hamo), kuruma prawns, and Kamo eggplant—and I was moved by each dish. There wasn’t a single miss: the dashi flavor came through beautifully, and the balance of ingredients and seasoning in every course was exquisite. The overall satisfaction was so high that it honestly felt surprising to be able to stay at this price while being served cuisine of such a high level. The Onsen was also wonderful. The bath area is new and kept very clean, so it was comfortable to use. In particular, Umenoya’s unique natural spring water at around 30°C was perfect for this hot season. Alternating it with the indoor bath at around 40°C left me feeling refreshed after bathing and made for a truly relaxing time. I highly recommend trying it this way. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the hospitality of the staff. When I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during dinner, one staff member immediately noticed and picked them up, and another staff member who saw this brought me a fresh pair. Their seamless teamwork showed how well they communicate on a daily basis, which really moved me. The proprietress has such a warm presence—always smiling and speaking to guests in a friendly way. Despite her young age, her attentiveness to guests and her awareness of everything throughout the Ryokan are exceptional; I don’t often encounter someone capable of providing hospitality at this level. It was an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied with its cuisine, Onsen, and service. I would love to return in another season to enjoy more delicious food and the Onsen again.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

In-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room made it a completely private space. The meals were delicious. This Accommodation was great for families with small children, as you can relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about others. It was a bit difficult to do makeup, so having a handheld mirror would be helpful.

It’s a 1 hour 45 minute trip from the station, and since you can’t miss the one bus, getting there is a bit nerve-racking.\nBut the hot springs are excellent, the food is excellent—everything is top-notch!\nThere are five private baths where you can enjoy free-flowing alkaline simple sulfur Onsen that feels like a beauty serum.\nAnd the cuisine is incredible. Using Shizuoka-certified ingredients, the pairings and cooking methods are creatively arranged, with great care taken so you can enjoy the presentation and textures as well.\nThere are also several carefully selected types of sake to match the dishes—fine dining and Onsen indulgence in the middle of the mountains!\nThank you very much.

This was our first stay as a family trip. The meals, the baths, and the hospitality were all extremely satisfying. Every dish was made with local ingredients, and the seasoning brought out the natural flavors—exactly to our taste. We also enjoyed relaxing in the log-cabin-style restaurant while looking out at the garden. We used only the open-air bath. Even though it was raining, the water temperature was just right and helped us unwind. *Since it’s completely outdoors, those who dislike insects may want to avoid it in summer—they do fly around.
