The final post town of the Tokaido Gojushichitsugi, "Moriguchi." Located in the northeastern part of Osaka, this place is said to have derived its name from being the defensive gateway to Osaka Castle. With excellent access via the Keihan Electric Railway, it has become a suburban area of Osaka, and the hotel has been cherished by the community since its opening. Here, we aim to create "opportunities" to turn our guests' precious "moments" into the finest memories that span generations.

In today's overly protective society, we are losing opportunities to feel the changing seasons through the natural wind, sounds, and presence of nature. We aim to be an accommodation where guests can experience the warmth of humanity and the transitions of the seasons through innate human vitality and morality. Following the renovation of guest rooms and the restaurant in 2024, our accommodation has been highly praised by guests. Our signature onsen with natural hot spring water is available not only in the large public bath but also in every guest room. Dinner features a full-course French cuisine prepared by an experienced chef using seasonal ingredients from Shinshu, complemented by wines recommended by our sommelier. The hotel is located away from Kappa Bridge, offering a serene experience surrounded by nature. Taishoya Shiiba Sansou is a Property nestled in the mountainous region of Shiiba, surrounded by the majestic nature of Ureshino. You can enjoy the ever-changing scenery up close. The murmuring of the nearby stream reaches the Room, and if you listen carefully, you can hear the sounds of insects. Looking out the window, you will see wildflowers adding vibrant colors. Nara Kasuga Okuyama Tsukihitei is located in the heart of the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Built in 1902 as a guesthouse to host dignitaries by the Governor of Nara Prefecture, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding ancient forest from its windows. Shuzenji, where Shuzenji Onsen Yukaido Kikuya is located, is a historic Onsen town steeped in legends related to Kobo Daishi. The current Kikuya was once referred to as an annex. It is said that there was also a three-story main building at the time. Even the renowned author Natsume Soseki stayed in the main building. Back then, Kikuya owned approximately 40 to 45 cho (hectares) of forest land, and there were generations of mountain keepers. Additionally, there were always about 20 craftsmen, including gardeners, plasterers, and carpenters. At that time, many landscaping projects were undertaken, such as creating rest areas for guests who stayed for extended periods, which required such a workforce. During the era of the main building, there was a grand banquet hall called Kikuya Sanso, boasting an astonishing number of tatami mats.
