Since we traveled by train, we really appreciated the Shuttle Service to Izu-Kogen Station. The Room was spacious, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The large public bath was also clean, and we were happy to enjoy the free-flowing Onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style. The taste was average, but there was a good variety, and we enjoyed local specialties such as sashimi, simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), and Shizuoka oden. The bread at breakfast was especially delicious. There were plenty of popular manga available at the front desk, which we could borrow and read in our Room. All staff were kind, and with thorough cleaning and well-stocked amenities, we felt their thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay. We would like to stay again if we have the chance.

The Onsen is mild, silky-smooth, and very relaxing. The Kiso River cormorant fishing season had also begun, and we could see it right in front of the Hotel. Both my friends and I were truly impressed. The Hotel staff were kind and took great care of us.

I stayed here for a concert. The flat parking lot was spacious, and the cafe and front desk staff were friendly and helpful with warm smiles. The Room was also spacious, and since checkout was at 11:00, I was able to relax and take my time. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This was my first stay. The view from the Room was wonderful, right by Lake Hamana. Since it was summer, we brought handheld fireworks, and they kindly lent us a bucket and candles so we could enjoy them by the lakeside. They also provide a designated trash disposal area, so I highly recommend it. We chose the Plan with dinner and breakfast included and enjoyed buffet-style meals with a wide variety of options, including gyoza and eel—both my spouse and I were very satisfied. On the second day, an unexpected issue came up and we returned to the Hotel late at night; the staff assisted us. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

This was my second stay here. As with my previous visit, the two older gentlemen who greeted us were very pleasant, and their warm welcome made us feel truly appreciated—excellent hospitality. Above all, I think Sarugakyo Hotel’s service is outstanding. There wasn’t a single staff member who made me feel uncomfortable. The person who assisted us during meals was from Nepal; perhaps they are still getting used to the work, but their sincerity really came through and I never felt uneasy at all. I ordered oolong tea, but when they repeated the order they said orange juice—so I corrected it, yet what arrived was orange juice (laugh). That was completely acceptable. It was delicious! The next morning, they greeted me with “Thank you for yesterday,” which made me happy. Thank you as well. Both dinner and breakfast were very tasty and generously portioned—we were completely satisfied. The Onsen was kept extremely clean and felt wonderful. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel, we had a very comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed playing table tennis. We will definitely come back again.

The Room was very spacious, and the children were thrilled as soon as we arrived. During dinner, one of our children suddenly felt unwell, and we really appreciated how quickly you brought towels, a bag, and a chair so we could sit in the hallway. Once they felt better, our child said they want to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed on a one-night stay with two meals Plan. When we mentioned that our child doesn’t like raw fish, the meal was changed to a meat dish. It looked so delicious that I was honestly jealous and wished I had chosen that too. Everyone spoke to us in a friendly way, and our child seemed to have a great time. Thank you very much.

We truly felt the Hotel’s warm hospitality. Your greetings and temporary luggage storage were very helpful. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. With the Hotel’s Kawagoe map, we were able to explore Koedo smoothly. It became a fun and memorable trip, and we felt the accommodation cost with breakfast included was a great value. Due to my daughter's work, we urgently searched for accommodation in Tateyama and stayed at Chikurakan. The wallpaper in the room was blue, but there were noticeable scratches and peeling here and there. A white color might give a cleaner impression. The futon was quite thin, making my body stiff. Also, the air conditioner stopped blowing air, and although a staff member fixed it for us, it only worked at 22 degrees Celsius, so we shivered through the night (laughs). As for the baths: the smaller one is 100% natural hot spring with lukewarm water; the larger one is 50% natural hot spring with hotter water. Alternating between them warmed up our bodies wonderfully. However, the steps of the smaller bath were slippery—many guests seemed to have dangerous slips. My daughter and I also hit our arms hard; this should be addressed somehow. For meals, we had a course that included spiny lobster along with abalone and large clams—all very delicious overall! The freshly cooked rice was also satisfying. Lastly, if I may add: all staff members lacked friendliness—they seemed to speak strictly according to manuals without conveying any sense of hospitality toward guests, which was disappointing.

Although I should have confirmed in advance, you kindly made special arrangements and allowed me to park my motorcycle. Thanks to the staff’s warm smiles and thoughtful care, I felt truly relaxed and made wonderful memories. Thank you very much.

Deeper into the Hanamaki Onsen area, Dai Onsen itself had a rather rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere, but this Accommodation is a reinforced-concrete building and one of the larger Accommodations in Dai Onsen. It had a strong Showa-era feel, yet everything was impeccably clean; the Onsen was spacious, with abundant free-flowing water that felt pleasantly gentle on the skin. Just as we had heard about the excellent food, both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared with many dishes, and everything was delicious. All staff members—both younger and older—were consistently pleasant and service-minded without ever being overbearing; their perfectly balanced attentiveness was wonderful. The Room had a nostalgic Showa-era ambiance that older guests will appreciate, and we slept well in this warm and welcoming Accommodation.

I originally made a Reservation for two nights, from 8/2 to 8/4. Later, I added a Reservation for 8/1, and only smoking Rooms were available, so I thought that even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, I would have to change Rooms. However, you arranged it as a three-night non-smoking stay. Thank you for the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration. Thanks to you, I had a very comfortable stay.

I arrived by motorcycle, and they kindly guided me to a covered parking area, which I really appreciated. Since I planned to eat out near the station, I could put the money saved on the Room rate toward food and drinks. It’s close to the station, so there are plenty of great places to eat. It’s a shared bath, and it was nice to be able to stretch out and relax. If I have another chance to visit, I’d like to stay here again.

It had been a while since I last visited Hokkaido. Because the price was reasonable, I didn’t have overly high expectations, but after actually staying here, it was a perfect 10/10. I would definitely like to stay again next time. I also want to recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. The spacious Room and the generously sized open-air bath in the Room helped us fully relax and recover from our fatigue. Although the building is somewhat old, it is well cleaned, and since I don’t really like newer but cramped Rooms, this Accommodation suited me well. The Onsen was also excellent and warmed me through to the core, so I would definitely like to stay again.

This was my second stay. The waters of Sakakibara Onsen are truly exceptional—I've visited many Onsens, but this is the best for me. Including day trips, I come about once every two months. Sei Shonagon is a calm and charming Accommodation that retro Showa-era lovers will adore. The Facility is spotless, with thorough cleaning down to every detail. The meals are generous in portion, delicious, and carefully prepared—I really enjoy them. They also offer a great selection of Mie sake, and the tasting set is a great value and highly recommended: you can choose 3 or 5 types from around 10 options. Above all, the baths are outstanding, with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are kind and always smiling. I’ve heard Sakakibara Onsen has become quieter than it used to be, but this is an Accommodation I never want to see disappear. I’d love to visit again during summer vacation—I’m already looking forward to it. If I may make a few requests: where possible, I would love for the women’s and men’s baths to be swapped monthly (even just once in a while), as the men’s bath looks lovely in photos and I’d really like to try it too. Also, I would appreciate having an electrical outlet in the Room for charging devices. And although it may be difficult to change, the stairs down to the bath area are steep and might be challenging for older guests—any measures you could take would be appreciated. Other than that, I was truly satisfied with everything. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.

Although we checked in late after watching Monbetsu Horse Racing, we were warmly welcomed. They upgraded our Room, and since it was our wedding anniversary, we were very happy. We had a very relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

I’ve stayed at about 80% of the Hotels in Matsumoto, and this one felt like a top-tier, truly great find. Major chains are reassuring because they’re standardized, but this Hotel has a distinct character you won’t find there. - The Room is extremely spacious for the price. The bath is also clean. A curtain can separate the entry corridor area from the Room. - From upper floors you can see Matsumoto Castle—great views. It’s a shame that on the Northern Alps side, apartment buildings block most of the view. - Even with a no-breakfast Plan, you can sign up at the front desk for ¥550 and enjoy a buffet worth well over ¥1,000. *You can have Nozawana pickles every morning. The menu changes daily.* - The lobby has Matsumoto folk-craft furniture tables and chairs, creating a calm atmosphere that feels very “Matsumoto.” - The staff service is excellent. - It’s a bit farther from Matsumoto Station than other Hotels, but it’s closer to Matsumoto Castle and museums, and it’s also right near the downtown area. - A convenience store is nearby. One request: it would be even better if there were a large public bath.

Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including local ingredients and Hatto-jiru soup. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western buffet with soba noodles and yogurt as well, and everything was delicious. The staff were kind and courteous. The Hotel is old but well maintained. It’s quite a walk to the Onsen, but there are rest areas along the way, showing thoughtful consideration. In the Room, having two kettles (hot and cold) along with tea snacks was a welcome service.

We stayed here before, and since our child said, “I want to stay again,” we decided to return. It’s a maisonette-style Room, with high ceilings in the living area on the third floor—very stylishly designed. Although breakfast is complimentary, it was very satisfying and delicious. The only downsides were that there was no mobile signal in the first-floor bedroom, and there was a slight lingering barbecue smell in the Room. It felt different from a typical Hotel, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.
